  1. Well, come on! What do you think? What's the best sail colour (I know you don't spell it like that, but I spell it the correct, Australian way). Let us know you opinion; and while you're at it, let us know what you would like future ships to have on the sails!
  2. Well done! I really like the witch. Very clever use of flame bricks there. Great wok!
  3. Try this.
  4. Or, rather than just a bigger flagship, about a whole Armada for it to command! Now that would be cool. Nice ship. I love the entrance to the cabin and the deck. There could perhaps be a bit more ornamentation on the stern, but otherwise this is fantastic. Well done.
  5. Perhaps, although we need some more tutorials to make any impact on BiM. So come on! Let us share your knowledge! NOTE: When making brickfilm tutorials, call them "Brickfilm Tutorial" and make the subheading the title of the actuall tutorial. When making technique tutorials, call them "Brickfilm Technique" and have the actuall technique as the subheading.
  6. I found a reference book in the library today, and what it said was very interesting... Apparently, this MOC isn't that original. Turns out, not pirates as such but the Roman's oar boats had flame throwers. And one of the worst punnishments a man could bring upon himself was that of being tied down and a flame thrower wrapped around his head. He was then told that if he screamed they would be be forced to burn him alive. But after breaking the victims legs and making the them scream, the Romans would burn their victim from the head. Yeah, ouch!
  7. Oh yeah! The LEGO modding is great! The staff are pretty crap though... Welcome to Eurobricks matey! I look foward to seeing you around the pirate forum! And mak sure to set your home page to Classic-Pirates.com. If you get stuck PM me, and have a great time here!
  8. Yes. That will make it heaps better. If you don't have the ability to do so, I could help you out. Let me know...
  9. That would be fantastic. And a realistic RFDS hangar would be awesome. Like an airport for the flying doctor.
  10. Seems I missed this. If you look at the BSB, not that I'm knocking it, it is quite un-realistic historically. For instance, a ship that small wouldn't have two masts. And certainly not a seperate gun deck.
  11. No harm done. And see to it that the Classic-Pirates.com part of these forums stay your favourite.
  12. Sorry, no such place. You'll just need to use a printer and sticker paper. And this question really should be in the Minifig Customisation Workshop
  13. Ah, good. Thank you Zorro. Call it "Brickfilm Tutorial" and make the subheading "Camera Settings and Lighting". When can you have it done?
  14. I'm not really looking at BiM as competition here. The more brickfilming forums, the better. And first post has been linked to tutorials and software downloads.
  15. You are a bit of a dope, pe668. That is the whole point. The ice cream was intended as a puff of smoke, and we all made of SirNadroj having an ice cream firing cannon. But the idea was to have the ice cream as smoke.
  16. Well done pe668. The green moss looks fantastic on the dark grey wall. You did very well here. And that imperial bloke is copping a beating!
  17. Ah, pe668, these improvements are great. One thing though - ha. Had you going. Well done, and I wish you the very best of luck in the competition.
  18. Thanks for that! My model will certainly be posted here when it is done (probably a few months). And it will most likely appear in the 2009 Bodville layouts. Thanks again.
  19. The LEGO Club Magazine has been made to goof up a bit in the past. Take the new (crap) airort, in the magazine, the tail of the plane says "City Air" but no such thing in the set. Also, on the control tower, the back supports are 1x2x5 bricks rather than the support brick. I wonder why they change things like that? Some sort of legal obligation?
  20. I am, and have been for a while, a member of BiM, but I really think this place could benefit from a brickfilm forum. Because as EB is my LEGO forum of choice and IMO the nicest community, even crap brickfilms will be applauded here. But thanks for your comment and I'm glad you took the time to inform us of the shady management of Brickfilms.com.
  21. Hello, and welcome to Eurobricks! If you need help or get stuck, PM me and we'll see what we can do.
  22. Ha - my bowsprit fell off! Thanks BlueBard. This was highly entertaining. Well done.
  23. Good reply. Anyway, the tutorial management list has moved to the first post.
  24. Now compare it to Eurobricks. What is your opinion now?
  25. True, fallentomato, but which community out of Brickfilms.com/ Bricks in Motion or Eurobricks do you think is the most friendly toward its users?
