Hmm... Rock band sets. I dunno, has the potential to be lame with some big pieces. I can see one piece backdrops etc. Perhaps though, a music theme might be nice. Many popular artists and their instruments in minifig form. So more minifig packs than sets. Perhaps an orchestra pack, a few band pachs, and as impulses, some individual artists. Wouls that come under licenced?

Ooooh! I do like that public transport centre! What goose voted for the city square? Well I sincerely hope we get a line of detailed trains - after the Emerald, more cars would be fantastic, maybe some more steam and diesel. I think we've had enough high speed trains recently.

Murder on the Emerald Express: Chapter 12
Captain Zuloo replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
In Jim's defence, I don't think he was ever in the cab of the train, so he couldn't have stopped it when we initially arrived here. -
So should blue post yet?

Getting started in LEGO Trains - What to buy?
Captain Zuloo replied to MrTools's topic in LEGO Train Tech
I don't own one of them, but from what I understand, no you can't. You see, the base, battery box etc. is all one part which makes it near impossible to incorporate PF into them.- 191 replies

For sure, but could I also make onein 8 wide with overhang of about 1/2 a stud? I growled because I was wishing all through the construction phase that I could make it in 8 wide, and now that I'm done, the rules have been changed so that I can!

8 wide? Grrrr! I just finished building an entry in 6 wide! Would I be allowed to enter 2 models of the same loco, in 2 different widths?

What Ever Happened to Lego's Train Mystery?
Captain Zuloo replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Yeah, I remember that. On my dial-up connection I had back then, I don't think I ever actually won. But I don't think we'll ever see them again, they were based on 9v trains which are no more. -
Any Idea When the Next Pirate Sets will be announced?
Captain Zuloo replied to Dr. Steve's topic in LEGO Pirates
This looks like an interesting topic. I frontpaged it on Classic-Pirates.com : -
Gee guys, sologuy369 was only trying to share with us some interesting news, there's no need to be so grumpy.

Such as? I don't know - it depends on what period your city is set in, and maybe your city could be having a steam train festival or something. I don't think it really matters - besides:
-
Awesome customs michaelozzie! Are you planning to take these to Brickvention 2010 in Melbourne? I hope so, cause I really want to see these in the flesh. This has been blogged on Classic-Pirates.com.

That's great news TheBrickster! LEGO Digital Designer provides limited instruction capabilities, so you could use that, but I would recommend LDraw. It can produce top quality instructions. Although you could always take photos of actualy bricks. I'm looking foward to this tip!

Murder on the Emerald Express: Chapter 12
Captain Zuloo replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Good point Lorraine. Perhaps we should examine to see if anyone (other than the victims) have blood on them or any of there possesions. -
I voted for steam from an exhibitor's point of view. Kids love things that move in a layout, and I've found that steam trains are always more popular because of their moving parts (pistons etc.). At exhibitions I've been to, when I've been running a diesel/electric loco, kids have asked me to bring the steam train out. They are more fun for my audience, so I have to say steam. Having said that, I can't build steam trains to save my life. Thank goodness for the word 'lending'!

Murder on the Emerald Express: Chapter 12
Captain Zuloo replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Dammit, that really hurt! When I find out who just did that, I'm going to kick your megablocks! Are you others alright? Gee! It appears scruffy and Hans aren't. Who would kill an innocent talking dog? Sick people. Now, who is responsible for that? I'd like to look around for any traces of footprints in the dust where we were sleeping and compare them to people's shoes. -
Difficult, but possible. What did you have in mind Captain?
-
Does the train actually have to be motorized?
-
This is a MOC! Well done Destroydacre, I'm glad you're on our team.

Awesome trains man! I love the 12v trains, if only they were 9v trains. You have a really nice layout, and I would love to see it expand for a public display. That was the most fun I've ever had with LEGO, sharing it with others at train shows. Keep us posted on developments in AJW City! Awesome trains man! Well, my first train was the World City High Speed Train 4511. I only had a loop of track, so I began asking people for tracks for christmas etc. Then when I started building up a collection of track, I decided I needed another train. Bring on the Metroliner! An eBay purchase of just over 200AUD that included some extra track and and speed regulator was a nice deal set me up with two trains. I decided to find out about an LTC or LUG in my area, only to find there was none. But I did meet pe668 whilst on my quest for other like-minded LEGO train enthusiasts. With his layout 'Bodville', pe668 inspired me to build up my own layout. I did in March and April this year (2009 for future reference) at two expos and I produced Blocksford: I enjoyed it so much that I am planning to do it again - but a different layout. I bought 10194 Emerald Night and 50 more straigh 9v rails and still have about $1,000 AUD of purchases to make for Blocksford to be possibe in 2010, but I'll be making a big effort. I love LEGO trains almost as much as Pirates and I think the more people that are exposed to them the better. So what are you waiting for? Build a layout and take it to your local train show! It only takes many months.

He means no cutting up tracks and make the wierd dimensions. Only the standard L-gauge width on the wheels and it must be able to clear points. Well, those are the rules I'll be following anyway. EDIT: TheBrickster beat me to it.

He's not.. He just went to turn the oven off in the middle of writing a post and then went shopping before returning and realising that I haven't clicked the post button! -
You'd be suprised - you should see what he gets up to in the Shipyard!

Indeed - when you reach the 1,000 post mark, you realise something - you spend waaaaaaaay too much time on your computer.
