That's a nice MOC Captain Genaro, but your images are waaaaaaaaaay to big. 3264 x 2448? Wow! My broadband internet connection had trouble with that. A tutorial on resizing images can be found here. Nice trees BTW.

My first train set I got for christmas once and I loved it. It only had a circle of track, but I spent hours watching it go around and around. My first train set was the World City 4511 High Speed Train. It was, and still is, a great train. I look foward to buying another loco to stick on the end of it to make it double ended.

I like the idea of round 2 not being a competitive round as such as a showing off round and for the blue teams only. The judges pick the best from each team to battle it out against the red team in the grand final. I think that's best because the blue teams will have to come up with awesome MOCs to stay in the game.

No need to close it - by all means create a new topic for your new layout, but why not leave this for reference?

Someone's greatly expanded Airport Shuttle
Captain Zuloo replied to ParallaxScroll's topic in LEGO Town
I don't think this is too bad a setup, just the wrong part of it was filmed. Anyone can make a monorail track that goes to the top of a window sill, but the bottom section with the other trains on it looked pretty cool - if I were that guy, I would have filmed the trains in action on that section of the layout. -
Murder on the Emerald Express: Discussion
Captain Zuloo replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Just for the record TheBrickster, this game has gone longer than I thought it would, but I'm glad about that. I have had a pile of fun playing it so far and I hope it doesn't end too soon. -
Great job michaelozzie! This deserves a big fat frontpage.

I think that's a little harsh. It is designed to run on PF track (or 9v) which as standard has 8 studs between each track. I can see how it would be a problem on your 12v layout, but I think you're being a bit harsh - just because it doesn't work on a layout it wasn't designed for. Having said that, it's a mighty shame because I would have loved to see it going around on your awesome layout!

Hmm...I'm thinking that I prefer it in dark green and gold. Great job, very nice idea. It made me feel sad though to look to my window sill and see the Emerald Night looking so mighty and powerful then looking at your rusty version. Nice SNOT use. Well done.

Wow TheBrickster - I'm in love! That is an awesome train. And it's carrying logs! Could that possibly make it a logging train? *Prays that it might provide some form of escape route out of that god forsaken town...* But great job, the entire 'old forest' feel to it is really nice. The colours work well and are in nice proportions and it's nice to see a mixed cargo. Well done!

Murder on the Emerald Express: Chapter 14B
Captain Zuloo replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
You idiots... Either an extra hour walking or Schmelt gets sliced, and you guys pick the latter? Anyway, we're here now. Let's get going! -
I have never used anything less than 2 loops and I don't plan on doing so in the future. Just expanding the loops and adding more branchlines. I currently have 3 sets of points, but I have a friend waiting to sell me some more.

I'd rather take the extra hour and go on the main road if you don't mind. -

You didn't happen to get any photos or happen to know where some are?

...but all of a sudden a huge gust of wind came and knocked the station master over revealing that he was really only a cardboard cut out. "What the hell?" cried TheBrickster just as...

Really? Where did you discover that 10194 was based on the Tornado? Personally I think it looks more like the LNER Class A3 4472 Flying Scotsman. But the cars are certainly based off Pullmans. I was also speaking with a bloke from the layout behind me at the last train show I exhibited at, and when he saw the Metroliner he seemed to think that it was based off of an AMTRAK train. But mostly I think LEGO train sets are based on their designers imaginations. Excluding the Santa Fe and the BNSF of course.

Yay, best Train Town yet! Well done TheBrickster. And is that the logging train in MOTTE in the front there?

Great Work HK! This deserves a frontpage!

Great work! The SNOT is brilliant. The only suggestion I have is this: there is no limit to length of your entry, so use that to your advantage!

Great concept mate! When I read the thread title I was wondering how you'd photograph it. Great work though, very nice concept.

Dude, it would be quicker to say who Eurobricks isn't funded by.

TheBrickster abruptly answered with a confident 'Dinosaur ply!' before the banana train ran Adam over. Adam however...

REVIEW: 10015 Green Passenger Wagon
Captain Zuloo replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Great review TheBrickster! I also found it interesting to read that article on Pullman coaches as I always saw them as the same style and colour scheme as the car in 10194. The set looks like a good addition to any train, although maybe a bit short. But all LEGO wagons tend to be too short. Again, great review, and if I ever see this set at a reasonable price on eBay, I'll consider grabbing it. Thanks TheBrickster!
