  1. The Hungry Woman was gone!
  2. I saved some mango soup that Schmelt provided earlier - want some? *Pulls out a container of mango soup and some small bowls*
  3. A small shunter pulled up behind the banana cart and out stepped Captain Zuloo. He walked up to TheBrickster just as Svelte fell through the roof of the platform and sat up...
  4. Cool! Very nice concept. This should be a very interesting film to watch. Do you have an approx. running time yet?
  5. As we have seen other uses fo 9v motors being pulled (by PF over a piece of 9v track to trigger an event) I would assume that pulling the motor wouldn't be a bad thing. In fact, as 2 motors are used to pull the train rather than 1, I would say that using 2 motors would certainly even prolong the life span of each motor.
  6. Giant banana on wheels. The station Master looked puzzled at the strange rail transport as out of the cab stepped TheBrickster. He said...
  7. This is a bit of a new exercise for me as I don't own any cargo trains. So I built a quick flatbed and loaded some cargo onto it (inspired by TheBrickster's Flatbed Cargo thread) and set it up in a small scene. Sorry I couldn't get better light, but I can't go outside as the weather isn't all that great. Anyway, here I present to you my flatbed pulled by a WIP Pacific National NR-Class locomotive: Enjoy. P.S. Good thread idea TheBrickster. Thanks. EDIT: Haha, I just realised my foot is also in the photo.
  8. The sound grew louder and louder and a faint glow could be seen in the distance coming along the rails. A steam train? There weren't to many of those around these days. All of a sudden there was a loud band and the noise was right upon the sleepy platform. Pulling into the station was...
  9. I'm the News Coordinator of Classic-Pirates.com - of course I've been drinking! But seriously, I just worded my post badly. The question was aimed at the walrus even though I had also quoted you. Germany...that explains a few things. Yeah, I was wondering the same thing.
  10. I'll go, but I'm going to be incredibly cautious to the point that I'm going to tie myself to Jethro so that whatever happens to me also happens to him.
  11. Great work Erdy! The use of cheese slopes is amazing. Onto the frontpage in the very near future!
  12. ...get the hand cart and pull the tanker with that.
  13. This is nothing new, it has just always loaded relatively slowly for me in comparison to other sites. Roughly how long does it take you to load up a specific forum and what speed connection do you have Siegfried?
  14. And it screws with special characters in posts. The pirate forum does load slowly for me despite having a good connection, but it's just as fast as the rest of Eurobricks, so I'm assuming it's just that EB is slow for me. Where is Eurobricks hosted? (Geographically)
  15. Haha, great find Burf! Those ship building techniques are fantastic, I really admire this guy's imagination and innovation. Thanks for finding this one mate.
  16. I never noticed it, but I don't think we really need it either. I have no problem with it being disabled in forums - in fact, I'd request that it's turned off in the Pirates forum if it means it will load faster.
  17. Let's go and grab the tractor from the farm and use it to pull the fuel wagon back to the croc. Then we'll use the loco to cover more ground to see if we can get it onto the express line.
  18. I already have a trainified sigfig from my MOTEE signature banner: Good idea TheBrickster, I look foward to seeing other train sigfigs!
  19. We could do that, but do you seriously think that letters haven't been sent? Many LEGO train fans have sent letters about trains, including myself, but all I got was a standard general reply saying that due to costs the line has been discontinued and it is unlikely to see it ever again.
  20. Dude, that's great! The use of minifig arms to get the curve is something that never occured to me. Very original, good job.
  21. Righto, let's take a look at the Crocodile! I would suggest everyone who has any train engineering background should come and have a look. I think that would be me, Brakes, Gaylord and Austin. (BTW, nice chapter title TheBrickster )
  22. There was only 2 in the official sets, but someone posted on Eurobricks that the smallest version in reality was 5 cars.
