Murder On the Emerald Express: Chapter 11
Captain Zuloo replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I'd like to look for anything of interest in any shelves or anything and I'd also like to feel the walls and floor to see if there is any hidden compartments around. -
Wow Teddy, this is your best MOC to date in my opinion. Well at least best complete MOC, I reckon that Victory will be pretty sweet when it's done. I love the pillars on this, you seem to have used that crows nest piece right? I am truly amazed at your work. Does it have a highly detailed interior? Well done mate, you really are a master of the brick.

Hey mate, Welcome to Eurobricks! I honestly think you should be into Pirates and trains, but that's ok. We'll forgive you. I'm not sure is you're aware, but there is a LEGO shop in Adelaide by the name of Toy Corner. Also, although not as active as Eurobricks, just as friendly a community for Aussies, ANZFOL. I hope you enjoy your stay. Cheers, Captain Zuloo

G'day matey! Welcome to Eurobricks. And don't quit on LEGO just because LEGO has quit on you (in your opinion, not mine ), just build MOCs to show how much better LEGO could be!

Pirate sets on Classic Pirate & List of minifigures
Captain Zuloo replied to Burf2000's topic in LEGO Pirates
Or maybe, it already has one! Linky. Or a start of one anyway. Thanks for that link Sly, it is giving me some good ideas for the final Classic-Pirates.com version. -
After seeing the image of the real train, I think your design is fantastic! It might look a little big when compared to a minifig, but that's ok. You did a brilliant job here. The lone suggestion that I could offer is if you use the new buffers found on the front of 10194 rather than the old ones as the new Emerald Night buffer has that cow catcher bit which is visible in the photo of the real deal. Great work, I would love to see this going around your layout!

Pirate sets on Classic Pirate & List of minifigures
Captain Zuloo replied to Burf2000's topic in LEGO Pirates
Sorry, I worded it badly, I meant send me a profile by email as I assumed that if you do it as a hobby you would only be able to email a folder of files rather than have stuff uploaded to a server. But no matter, we can discuss your skills here. For the benefit of Mister Phes: If you aren't great in the English language, this could be a fantastic opportunity for you to get better and learn more things. You sound like you have a good knowledge of the web and the code you would need, the job description is pretty much creating posts for the frontpage, as that's what we currently need, correct Mister Phes? Every 2 days was just a rough estimate. As a regular contribution, you would be creating posts for our backlog and eventually our frontpage. And we sure as hell don't spam anyone. We strongly respect people's privacy, and would never spam anyone. We update our frontpage, which is purely an optional visits for our members and guests. But rest assured that Classic-Pirates.com certainly doesn't spam anyone. -
Pirate sets on Classic Pirate & List of minifigures
Captain Zuloo replied to Burf2000's topic in LEGO Pirates
In that case, you could be a fantastic asset to the Classic-Pirates.com team! And for your information, Classic-Pirates.com uses WordPress as our blog Content Management System. Are you familiar with XHTML? As far as the set pages are concerned, :pir_laugh2:Erdbeereis and myself are working on them as fast as we can, but we can only go so fast. We also have other jobs to do such as maintaining the frontpage and training new recruits, then (as an afterthought ) we have our lives to take into consideration. So we could sure use your help to take some of the strain off. Would you be really dedicated to Classic-Pirates.com and be willing to make a regular contribution (every 2 days if possible)? Also, if you have any examples of your work, please throw me a portfolio to news-coordinator@classic-pirates.com -
Great job Dave! It sure beats the crap out of my Blocksford Signal Box. I love the details of the interior, the only thing I could suggest is that you tile the floor inside. I'm loving all your train MOCs that you've been sharing with us, and I hope you continue to do so. Although you constantly mention your layout, I've never seen any photos of it. Where can I find some?

USS Constitution Landing Craft: Captain's Gig mostly done
Captain Zuloo replied to Capn Frank's topic in Pirate MOCs
Top notch start there Phred. I do admire the many different techniques you guys use to build brick hulls of different boats. All I could suggest is that you use all white, not faded stuff, although I would guess that was the plan already. Fantastic mate, keep us posted. -
Well now, that was just totally uncool. Hey, at least I got the seaweed part correct. I've never actually seen that midget chef hat in my life, only the Erdbeereis version.

Sadly, that is very true for Terra Australis. I was forced to buy my Brickbeard's Bounty and Soldiers' Fort from Shop@Home as they aren't out in the shops yet. A LEGO customer service member told me that we should expect them in stores from July 1, but it's already more than halfway through! But I grabbed the impulse sets from the shelves of Big W, and it was brilliant to be able to walk into a LEGO retailer and buy my favourite line again. It's been a while...

That really sucked when it happened to me first, because I was seriously considering leaving EB. I thought it was a permanant change and I decided it would be too annying to continue using the boards. Fortunately I decided to send one of the staff a PM before I left and I found out it wasn't actually a permanant change to the forum, but a wierd involuntary change in my settings.

So what are your thoughts on cars for this baby? Is it possible that The LEGO Group might produce a Pullman set in the near future?- 559 replies

I can strongly suggest Adam for the role as he is a very sensible member who always works hard and is very commited to his hobby. -
Murder On the Emerald Express: Chapter 11
Captain Zuloo replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I too would like to go over and inspect the door behind the other two. And Elanor, can you please stand near the explosives with your gun ready for anyone who might get too close with a flame? -
Murder On the Emerald Express: Chapter 11
Captain Zuloo replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I'd like to go and assist with what I can in the construction of the make-do ladder. -
It's a damn shame that these don't come in 9v. I wonder if trains would have enough momentum to bridge 1 or 2 of these between 2 peices of 9v. I might have to BL a few pieces and find out...

Ah, well done Lego_Warlord_8! Fantastic work with this nice little MOC. This has been frontpaged on Classic-Pirates.com.

AFOL Survey - July 2009 - send your feedback to the LEGO Group
Captain Zuloo replied to Bonaparte's topic in LEGO Pirates
Hahaha, I know about the code, it almost caught me out. When I added the image to the frontpage I almost didn't use the special link on the photo. But I noticed just in time! Thanks for sharing Bonaparte, I always enjoy filling in these surveys as it feels like we, the LEGO consumers, have an input. Thanks for the link mate. -
That's because he only has 6 posts. He needs 4 more before his PM is enabled. P.S. I'd be interested in playing the role of Fuse.

For the nails, can we break off the sharp spike thingos on the saw and hammer them in with Herman's headanother piece of wood? -

*Looks down at his chest.* There's no meat clever, but there certainly is a pin...hold on, why did I even check? I know that I wasn't here earlier.
