  1. I need to stop writing "amazing build" and "beautiful MOC", lest I'll run out of exclamations! :-) Very nice, indeed! I like the colors, especially the grey vs. white contrast. Trees, minifigs, the (domesticated?) troll, everything is cool, but I really think that the best photo is the very first. There's something special about how the grey massive walls contrast to the gracile white tower. Amazing MOC and beautiful build! ;-)
  2. They are lovely! I want to make something similar, but I'm having troubles deciding the details. Pretty guys!
  3. Cool! You could try something contrsting with the grey structure, but also soemthing that blends in, and that's why I'd like to see a tree there: brown for contrast, green for accord. Some wooden structure could be also nice, like blacksmith or rahter stables. Becaus stables means horses, and there are brwon and white and black ones who'd bring even more life and colours. Really nice design!
  4. I like the first photo: the castle is low and sturdy. The overal design is a bit too strict, so maybe there could be more details. But it's got a cool old school feeling. I think that the courtyard needs more life: some tree, a well, few minifigs. Solid build!
  5. I lack words! This must have took ages to finish and I can't even imagine the lego collection, the plans, and the amount of perseverance that's needed for such a gigantic build! Truly epic MOC!
  6. What a cool and funny vignette! I like the small elf, although I hoped that it's a faerie who's helping at the cottage: you know, incoming love story and such! :-) Nice MOC!
  7. Very nice build with lots of details, clever colouring, and great textures. My most favourite part is the slim tree.
  8. Nicely built hull! Rigging and yeah, everything else, is also nice, but the hull shape is amazing!
  9. Found the trees! :-) Yep, that's nice approach. While there is a lot of nostalgia factor in the grey castles, colours make them more beautiful and distinct!
  10. Yeah, especially cherry-trees can have similar colour. @pantelis: It's nice that your daughter helps with builds and it's especially nice that she shares your passion for castles!
  11. Man, those are a bit too courageous colours! :-D I think that you could soften the impact a little bit by having some kind of white petals, so that th tree isn't completely magenta/purple/salmon/younameitgeezimnotagirl. Other than that I got nothing to argue about, I'm really surprised with the non-military look of the tower windows, as we all are accustomed to the narrow slits and this is something new and cool! Nice choice of minifigs, and I like the vintage horse, they are so cute!
  12. Very nice, as usual! Your style is so distinct and amazing!
  13. yeah, of course! It's just a bit easier to spot today, becuase the quality (seems like) dropped in past decade. But we're moving from the topis at hand. :-)
  14. For playmobil movie to be successful, it needs to be not only good, but also different from LEGO movies. Where lego stories were all fun and hyperbole and irony and action and whatnot, PM could/should try a more "serious", less frantic, not so much crazy approach, thus creating a movie for the people who'd like to see a story, not flashes. But with an average attention span of a gold fish, will the movie-goers movie-go? Idk. From what I gathered on imdb, from talking with people, from reviews, nowadays movie industry is not very industrious, and they use preconstructed formulae, save ideas and pandering style, so anything different could struggle to sell the tickets. And heck, I liked the lego movies, just that they are not the best stories, they are just fun ones. Also, @kurigan made some really good points!
  15. Very nice ship, lovely clour scheme.
  16. Nice one! My favourite game in my favourite construction toy! :-)
  17. Beautiful build, really beautiful!
  18. That's some cool reasoning behind the trollesses, and yeah, it makes a lot of sense! If the trolls are either fishing or raiding most of their time, the females must take care of themselves and the families, so they'd be pretty strong, just like in your example! good luck with your design, it's truly epic! Maybe your son will share your joy in coming years, once the trains won't be enough for his fancy! :-) Cheers!
  19. Oh, so the tower is just sitting freely? Or do some studs connect?
  20. Is this... is this... is this vignette? Man, you've crammed so many things in such a small space! That ship is cute, two lovely minifigs for such a tiny MOC, and the tower (moreover angled) is pretty solid. Very nice!
  21. Yep, pantelis has indeed a recognizable and lovely style! If LEGO started to make these castles, I'd buy them without hesitation.
  22. You're welcome! Btw, I really love the top photo and the soldiers, it's got an amazing feeling, they are all crammed together like a real-life crowd would be. They are not merely standing there, they are enthusiastically watching the duel. Oh, and the next thing that I also really like is the general 1980's feel, especially the new yellow background is cool!
  23. Wow, another beautiful build! My only idea is to lengthen the jousting area, right now they wouldn't have enough distance to accelerate into full speed. The castle is amazing. I love how the soldiers are crammed on the platform, exactly like they were depicted in medieval paintings of siege warfare! :-)
  24. Yeah, this ship is beautiful!
  25. wow, that's cool, every child would LOVE this!
