  1. This thing is amazing ! Actually this build attracked me to eurobricks, solid engineering and high end performance, well done, chapeau ! Personally I want to stay away from software and computers as I find most joy in the freehand artistic hands on experience of building, but at this level I guess the software is really a usefull tool to work things out without breaking your fingers.
  2. Ok, thanks, I'll try that next time...
  3. Hi, Ok, is there a way to reseize pictures after uploading them to tinypic ? It does not seem to mess with the forum layout as far as I can see. I guess I'm used to forums autosizing content to match the layout, sorry.
  4. Hello... After 30 years I picked up Lego again Dec 31 last year, playing with Lego at a friends place last Christmas got me hooked again so I went to some auctionsites and got me a 2nd hand crawler set and the Porsche (new) ... than I ran into another crawler real cheap as it had no box no manual and was missing some small bits, so I got that for the extra motors and IR system. The batterybox is not the greatest powersource and at some point I put 2 boxes parallel to increase current wich helped but also adds lots of weigt, and not owning a "smart" phone rules out the buwizz for me... So I went Leipo,... A Graupner 70c 11.1V 2000mAh pack is powering this beast. Where I discovered that one V2 IR receiver cannot handle the current drawn by four L motors, solution, use two V2 IR receivers on the same channel and split the load... bingo ! I used some silicone lubricant to prevent wear on the gears, it really helps. It's fast, driving in home results in the equivalent of trowing the car against the wall, it accelarates with spinning wheels for 1 to 1,5 meter looking for grip wich makes this the perfect drifter, no Ice needed, no special hard tires needed, it will drift on any flat surface by sheer power. No suspension as I did not see use for it as it would only add weight, complexity and compromise stiffness. It is controlled from a single IR remote, so full trottle and hard cornering only haha ! It actually needs a video but I don't have a camera... Cheers !
