  1. Looks nice :) Is there no way for rails to provide the power for the turntable? Altho, it seems that the 12rails radius/diameter is too big to be used inside that turntable?
  2. Nice :)
  3. Nice! But what windowglass pieces are those?
  4. Thumbs up to this 1 :) Saw it on flickr just moments ago, when checking the Kitteh Briefcase. Then found it here.
  5. Another great build from you :)
  6. Locomotive Be 6/8II Nr. 13254, has it ever been brown? If yes, then maybe mod 10277 to it? And if not, then maybe instead mod to Ce 6/8II Nr. 14253 ? The latter would have the correct numbers tho :)
  7. I got it ages ago. I tried to search for a download, but did not find any.
  8. I have no clue what difference there is between the 4.3.12 and 4.3.11. I do have the latter.
  9. Shouldn't https://www.lego.com/en-us/ldd be OK to download from? Altho that is the 4.3.12 version, for Windows and 4.3.11 for Mac.
  10. dr_spock, nice video :) Sadly google's speech to text translation was, not understandable at all, atleast when I choose english.
  11. It does look nice :) Is it modeled from a real ship, or your version of a pre-dreadnought battleship?
  12. Size in LEGO 42030 in Hauler build. Length 52cm, width 17cm, height 22,5cm. Body, tires, warning beacon. I used a ruler on mine. 42114 in Hauler build: Length 60 or 61cm, width 23cm, height 22cm. Body, mirrors?, warning beacon?. How about IRL? 42030 Hauler IRL. Length 10 218mm, width 2 859mm, height 3 451mm. Body, tires, exhaust pipe. Cabin roof 3 318mm. 42114 Hauler IRL: Length 12 225mm, width 3 884m m, height 3 852cm. Body, tires, cabin roof. Tire info: A25F: Unloaded machine with 23.5 R25. A60H: Unloaded machine with 33.25 R29. So I would guess the scales of the machines are not the same in LEGO. No B model for 42114? Interesting model, but economy might very well sadly say: Pass. Cheaper non technic models taking the priority. /edit: The 42030 in Hauler mode has 1 axle less than the IRL machine.
  13. Not bad :) hahaha :) Windmill could have been a former water tower for steam engines :)
  14. I give you a thumbs up :)
  15. For the headlights, maybe a Plate, Modified 1 x 2 Rounded with 2 Open Studs ?
  16. A 1x8 tile might be my preference. I just came home, after picking up my 10277 from a pickup point. My plan was to wait to get it, but I ordered it on friday. My wallet/bank account might not be so happy with me.
  17. 10277's cabin ladders would have to be modified/removed too. If having a long rod.
  18. That's how I plan to mod it. Someday. And that is why I have written about the rods lengths of 13. But I do understand why LEGO did as they did.
  19. Is there any room to have the 4185 a stud higher? Or atleast 2 plates? so it could be connected with a rod to a custom made 1 9 13 rod, with a built in thin liftarm/rod connector? or with a place for a 4274, as a connector between the rods?
  20. Or that :) It looks as a removable piece on those locomotives?
  21. Looks very nice :) Part 30161 will cause you problems tho. Unless you paint it. Canadian Pacific Railway colouring could be an option too? for mods.
  22. Without doing new parts, how could LEGO have done the rods, triangular rods etc as in real life? That's a half brick? off set. zephyr1934's rod seems quite nice. And if modifying the model a bit, then his "A single 4 hole 13 long side rod" could be viable too? Or a custom modification of it. And if modifying even more: Could the SBB Ce 6/8 III rod version be possible in LEGO? With a custom 13 or 14 long rod, or 13,5 even? With train wheel holes at positions 1, 9 and 13 "or 13,5 or 14, depending on where the wheel under the cab is placed". The inclined rod/jackshaft position I am not sure of tho. Is half a stud offset up and left/right possible? for the inclined rod? that connects to the traction motor? Or should it be placed -1 and up 1 from the last wheel hole position? 1 is front on the left. 13 below the cab. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/c/c9/Swiss_Rail_SBB_Ce_6_8_14305_14253.jpg Ah yeah, I ordered 10277 from toyspace.se a subsidiary of lekekassen.no . I have got a tracking number, not sure if it is sent yet or not tho.
  23. Finally more pictures of the train depot. And a finished IRL build too, it looks great!
