@TrainsWithLights tip -> Bricksafe. For LEGO moc photos + files.
-
TrainsWithLights, nice loco. mostly 7 wide? Tender seems to be for very long hauls.

Here I was thinking of what the passenger cars hold inside. That, is Up, in standard. Very much up. Ball bearings and metal axles, those would been nice.
-
Finally, wider than 6 studs train wagons. It is as if going from 4 stud wide racers to 6 stud wide Speed Champions. Not quite on the level of 8 wide Speed Champions. That, would have rocked, in my opinion. But, would been quite costly too. Well, atleast the wagons can take those tight R40 curves. + the locomotive can be motorized, even tho not up to LEGO's own standards..

Heh, forgot to comment this, it seems. Nice build. And same scale as the AT-AT?!

Phil-B259, converting to 10 wide? or lengthening the cars? Or both? Carefree_Dude, do you mean blue to green?

CB&Q Pioneer Zephyr streamlined diesel train-set - updated 12/08/23
Shiva replied to Murdoch17's topic in LEGO Train Tech
When comparing to zephyr1934's Zephyr. zephyr1934's train is the big sister and your train is the little sister, In this, I mean the car length. + you have the Car number 500, so your is the 1938 and later version :) + I think your train work well on the sharp turns of the original LEGO tracks.- 13 replies

The original idea was interesting. The locomotive in that, I was... "That will NOT work". I was, undecided, if to get this, until I saw the screenshots of the official product. Then, it went on, quite the top of the list.

You maybe thinking of X460? https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=x460#T=S&C=9&O={"color":9,"iconly":0} https://www.bricklink.com/catalogList.asp?catType=P&catString=138 has links and rods.

Regarding LEGO Ideas trains that are not approved. Could atleast some be, due to LEGO NOT getting IP's OK, to do the trains or loco's. Or even not finding how to get the OK, for that IDEAS real locomotive?
-
Those wider cars and other stuff, actually made be buy this. Loco is okay. Ofcourse it could be more detailed etc, with a higher price as end result. Ok, the line talk starts about here https://youtu.be/vEM8esfyO84?si=2OBlfN5UrpFr_Y5b&t=554 , nothing new, that lines etc ain't always straight, sadly.

Well, a black switcher then? Or, maybe you already have one :) I forgot to write earlier, nice work on the passenger cars too.

@SerperiorBricks Curved slopes issue? I can't remember anything about that, except from you? Did I miss some review where those were mentioned?
