The river that runs through Benoic is called Avonmora. Is that the river you are looking for? The name is irish and means "from the great river". Thought it fitted that river perfect! =) I have another build up. The rumours about the ships seen close to the coasts of Avalonia swept through Avalonia and Benoic like the summer breeze.. Soon the talk about what it was that the drunken sailor had seen was everywhere. -I have heard that the Drows are coming!! Wimpy William said. - Calm down, we don´t know that yet. We don´t even know if it was ships or something that that drunken fella made up! Cyfan the seamstress said, looking angry at William for going around in Sionnach and make the kids scared about the talk of Drow. - We have a strong leader in Varis, who hates the Drow so if they are coming here by boats they have come to get their butts kicked, the soldier said. - I will make more swords, spears and amours than ever.. Orders from Lord de Gothia. Said Toireann the blacksmith replied. - But soon we all know if the Drows are coming and how many they be. I fear for our lifes he.... William said but was interrupted by Toireann. - But we will build our city strong! Walls, soldiers and swords will meet any Drow trying to take Benoic! See how it went last time the Hand soldiers tried to came here! de Gothia and our soldiers slaughtred them outside of the city! William walked away, he had a bad feeling about this ship, the drunken sailor and the future of Avalonia. He left Benoic that same day, fleeing to Albion... This build is for the HSS challenge aswell as the Rumours challenge. I will incoporate the blacksmith into the layout of Sionnach.. C&C as always welcome!

I use only yellow heads. I guess from the beginning the thought of yellow heads was so no one could feel discriminated... If someone come from Avalonia, Mitgardia or Kaliphlin they are all yellow for me but in my thought they are different! Sounds like we Avalonians are getting started then! Great work guildsmates! I have started my blacksmith today! Yay me!

The craftsmen from Kaliphlin had finally came to the village of Sionnach. A sleepy little village with some houses scattered across the river of Avonmora. Here, at this strategic point, de Gothia planned a large walled city. After the fall of Gothia Castle he also planned to build a smaller castle inside the city. -So, this is it?! This is the village? Abd-Al-Karim whispered to his brother Abd-Al-Rahman. -Apparently it is... the brother smiled back at him. -It will take us some time to build something here! The two brothers were known in Kaliphlin and Barqa for the knowledge about stones, walls and defence structures. They stood close to eachother, always discussing. -....so here we will have the large gatehouse and two towers next to it, de Gothia continued his planning with his guests and workers. -You will plan the most of it and we Avalonians will make it happen. - One question my dear Al Ghouti, Hadi asked. He was the oldest and the leader of the fellowship. Where is the bridge crossing this river? -Oh, that bridge was so old it flushed away with the high waters of the spring. It was here, de Gothia pointed out the remains of the old wooden bridge. - I see, you want a new one in stone? - I want a large drawbridge over Avonmora this time... Fikri, the man in the turban, responsibly for the roads in the company was silence. He had seen better roads in the deserts. This would something for him to work with. de Gothia had already told him about his plans to pave the entire Oil Road in Benoic. Ifran, was the teacher, sent from Sir Gideon to help out with the language in Sionnach. de Gothia hoped that many Kaliphlins would travel here to trade and what better way to welcome them then to say welcome in their own language. He was young and hope to meet an Avalonian girl to settle down with. He was the most adventurous of them all. He was standing in the middle with his hair in perfect shape. This moc will change, grow and hopefully be a walled city with de Gothias new home inside it. C&C as always welcome!

Woow! This is just so great Simon! I agree with kabel about the foliage. The castle stands out so much because of it! And they blend together as well! Just amazing! The rock work is also just bravo!!

I have said it to two ther members in GoH today and I say it to you as well! You have improved your mocs greatly! I like the action in this moc and your figs are posing excellent! Some tips Photo: Take a shot of the whole moc without cut off edges. Focus: All your photos of the minifigs have great focus on the background but not on the figs... Moc: Add some more details, barrels, torches, cobbles on the ground, debris on the ground. It looks a bit plain.

This is such an improvement from you! This is looking very good I think! The vegetation and the landscape are really great! Some tips Try to improve your edits. Right now you can see some spots where you have bricks that are edited as well! Take a photo of the whole moc. Right now you have cut of the edges... But this is so good! Great work!

Looks great! You really have developed your mocing skills I think! Some advice:Try to edit out the background. Your mocs really deserves the best presentation The green baseplate is visible. Not much but I saw it right away. One way to solve this is to add plates in one colour and with one stud of the baseplate and then build on top of the plates. Hope you get what I mean!
