What can I say that I haven't already told you in pm or talk? Your one of my favorite builders. You have improved tons since we all started this project. You have mastered building walls and angled things. You can pretty much build any challenge that comes up when we're joking around on talk. Your gate is epic. One of the most imposing I have seen. The angle in the ground on your watch tower is mind bendingly awesome. You definitely have your own style. Great job.

Challenge VI: Just the Beginning
Captain BeerBeard replied to soccerkid6's topic in Guilds of Historica
Some very solid builds. They are easily recognized as your style. The scene with the waterfall is especially nice. I love the waterfall. The angle of the castle looks sweet as dose the rocky terrain its sitting on. All your interior scenes look really good. I like them better separated than stacked up. You are the king of Mitgardian architecture.- 82 replies

The Legend of Revolword: Challenge VI
Captain BeerBeard replied to Mike S's topic in Guilds of Historica
Very nice builds! My favorite is the one with the spider. It looks like it's straight from Oblivion! The spider, I mean. Your tower has a nice unique style. The ground around the bottom looks really cool too. Your bridge scene looks really nice but I think It would benefit from being bigger with more terrain and castle. Your photo's turned out really well. Awesome job. -
Challenge VI: The end of an era, the beginning of another
Captain BeerBeard replied to Kayne's topic in Guilds of Historica
All three scenes are great! The micro is very well done. The brick brick adds a lot of detail. I like that you pulled off using the angled wall pieces. I can never get anything going with those. The throne room has a very unique design. I have never seen those parts before. It looks really cool especially with your light effect. Your photo's are great too. Awesome job.- 19 replies

Mitgardia Guild: Homepage, Sign-up and Discussion
Captain BeerBeard replied to Sirens-of-Titan's topic in Guilds of Historica
I, personally am offended. I won't ever look at any of your guy's moc's ever again. Really. The way I see it, you guys disrespected all non- Mitgardians GoH'ers. You did this as an ultimate insult to bump off all non-Mitgargian challenge six entries by taking over and pushing everyone else off who spent a lot of time on this contest so you can constantly bump. I will be quitting GoH because of this. -
Challenge VI: If only peace would come now...
Captain BeerBeard replied to de Gothia's topic in Guilds of Historica
I think the forced perspective scene achieved the "forced perspective" very well. It could use a little more detail but I know these are not easy scenes to build. The mountain horizon is great. Your extra scenes are great. Searching in Cedrica is especially nice. Your great keep scene has a very clean design. The idea of living children as paintings is awesome. The floor pattern is great. It reminds me of something from an old fantasy rpg. Great scene overall. The wedding scene is your most beautiful scene ever! I love the architecture here. It has a very unique style. The guests really add a feeling of life and celebration to the scene. The dome really adds a lot.The doorway is really impressive as is the whole scene. Awesome work! -
CHALLENGE 6: I am Legion.
Captain BeerBeard replied to Captain BeerBeard's topic in Guilds of Historica
Story and pics updated. Thanks everyone for the great comments! Masa, that is some interesting lore. I have been planning on arranging them all for quite some time. At this point I'm not sure anymore. We'll see. -
I have to agree with Masa. The new moc has much better photo quality. The base is also better because you can see the water.
-
I love it. This has such a great fairytale feel. Your best house for sure.

Darkmire Mill - Dark Isle Saga: Chapter 1, Part 6
Captain BeerBeard replied to Derfel Cadarn's topic in Guilds of Historica
I personally am a fan of this water effect. It makes it look more alive and is easier to imagine the movement of water. The olive vine on the mill looks great with the brown droid arms. The arms make it look like it's dry and dying and reaching for water at the bottom. The tree in the rock looks like it could just fall over with it's roots hanging out. Great effect! Is the water wheel made with string? The door is really cool too. Thanks for posting so many close up pics. -

CHALLENGE 6: I am Legion.

Thanks! The thing about the thumbs is a little tribute to you. I'm guessing you realized that. -
The day started like any other except today was different. There was a very important meeting taking place at a home called the "Lion's Den". A lion didn't really live there. You would think so because of the name. REQUIRED INTERIOR SCENE Lord Legonardo and the mighty, golden and majestic Zakon GoldBlade were first to arrive. They settled in and grabbed some vintage hop ale. It was a bueatiful day, so they decided to drink outside. Many moons had passed since the two last met. There was much to discuss. Legonardo: Hahahahah! Zakon: Hahahaha! Legonardo: He actually sent you his thumb's?! Zakon: Yes! He atually sent me his thumb's! Legonardo: Hahahaha! Zakon:Hahaha! Legonardo: That is dedication. Zakon: Yes. I wonder how long we're going to wait for everyone? Legonardo: We'll be proper drunk before anyone gets here. Zakon: I'll drink to that! Legonardo: Hahahaha! Zakon: Hahaha! The two had a merry old time waiting for the others to arrive. Later that night, the rest of the lords arrived. The fire was roaring. The food was hot and very delicious. The drink was more deliicious, not to mention very strong. The lords enjoyed each other's company for it could be the last time they all met. REQUIRED INTERIOR SCENE . Trian: We should get to business. All: Aye! Arlindus: Victor's orks are everywhere on the roads. Varis: Aye, I plunged my spear through at least thirty on my ride here! de Gothia: My spies tell me they are finding ork tracks all over the land. Zakon: My people in Kaliphlin are reporting they saw Victor with the IAMS. Legonardo: We have to stop the IAMS. Zakon: Yes, they will be turned to dog food. Do we have our order's, Master Trian? Trian: Yes, my Lord. You have a special assingnment in this envolope. I was ordered not to read it. Zakon: Interesting... Trian:The rest of us are orderd to ride to the crossroads of Historica, recruiting any able man. We are to meet Mitgardian forces and hold our borders againsts the Hand. Arlindus: Has there been any news of the Drow? Varis: My people have cast multiple spells to make sure they stay in exile. It will be a cold day in hell if they ever come back to Historica! All: Aye! Hahahaha! A cold day in hell! hahaha! de Gothia: Curse those ugly, fowl abominations! Legonardo: So is victor aligned with Kaliphlin? Zakon: No. The IAMS is really a terror group. They have no affiliation with the government of Kaliphlin. A power hungry lord controls the terror group. Varis: Does the AAG have orders? To stop this lord? Zakon: Officials have contacted us with concerns many moons ago. This is a very delicate political matter. Trian: It could mean world war for Historica if it isn't handled with extreme care. Zakon: Exactly. Arlindus: Oh... Zakon: So de Gothia, hows your lady? deGothia: She's doing well. We've been through some stuff. How is yours? Zakon: I heard. My wife is upstairs relaxing. She's been good. REQUIERED INTERIOR SCENE UPSTAIRS Meanwhile in Kaliphlin.... Things have been changing in Kaliphlin. The days grow shorter, the nights darker. You can just feel the evil brewing. What was Victor up to? The AAG was on the case. SCORED SCENE Kaliphlin Curse by Captain Beery, on Flickr The AAG had scouts everywhere fom the streets(sand) to the tallest towers. Victor had been spotted many times over the course of a month. He has always with some serious back up. He didn't need it, obviously. He was the most feared and powerful mage in Historica. Untitled by Captain Beery, on Flickr The IAMS was his crew of choice to roll with. It's a little known fact this group is plotting the demise of the AAG. But who could stop Victor? The AAG of course! On this day one of Victor's henchmen from the IAMS was spotted alone. The noble assassin took his chance to tail the thug. Can you imagine the reward for discovering Victor's hideout? Untitled by Captain Beery, on Flickr Meanwhile at the Mystic Isles... Zakon and his most trusted man arrived at Skull Point. Remember the envelope from earlier? The contents was an ancient spell of great power. Only one wizard who could cast it. Zakon and his man were greeted by the ancient sorcerer. SCORED SCENE Skull Point1 by Captain Beery, on Flickr Nuzklak: So you come to end the world? Zakon: hahahah! No, to save it. Unfortunatley. Nuzklak: I have seen it in my visions. Zakon: My visions haven't been very clear as of late. Nuzklak: Are you prepared for the ritual? Zakon: I'm here. Nuzklak: Very well, we shall begin... Skull Point by Captain Beery, on Flickr Skull Point2 by Captain Beery, on Flickr Zakon handed the ancient wizard the spell scroll. The ritual began, the chaos star lifted. the shrieking of a million souls stirred the dank air of the chamber. The spirits filled Zakon's hollow being. The ritual stopped. Zakon had changed to a man god. Chaos Star Vortex by Captain Beery, on Flickr With Zakon in Omega God Mode or OG Mode for short, Historica stood a chance against Victor. Enraged with the power of the devil "Legion", He jumped across Historica like a lightning bolt. Victor's Hand was everywhere. Historica was being attacked on all fronts except for Kaliphlin. The battles went on for days. Every time the Hand was crushed but at the cost of more Historicans lives. There would be days, weeks even of peace but the enemy always came back. Victor was planning something more wicked than any could imagine. How many strong was his army? Where were they hiding? Historica was in bad shape. The people lived in constant fear. The people held on to hope knowing they had Zakon GoldBlade on their side. Legion2 by Captain Beery, on Flickr Legion1 by Captain Beery, on Flickr Legion by Captain Beery, on Flickr Thanks for taking the time to look. A big, extra special thanks to my Avalonian homies for all the help, advice and feedback!

You don't have to edit the story if you cut both of your thumb's off. All members of the AAG have done this. It shows dedication. It is also entry to the guild. just pm me your adress so I know I'm getting your thumb's in the mail. I will check finger print records to make sure your not sending me someone else's thumb's. Haha I know it hurts. The guild is not for everybody.

Captain BeerBeard replied to Sirens-of-Titan's topic in Guilds of Historica
Really glad to hear that! We don't need contest smugglers . -
Why are you making up origin stories for my GoH character's story? This has nothing to do with the Avalonian Assassin Guild. I'm truly offended. The AAG is invite only. I don't recall inviting you into my storyline. I really am offended as are all other AAG members. We don't steal your story, don't steal ours.
