  1. render animation in bricklink studio 2.0 24fps 2seconds rotation
  2. I haven't thought of doing B-model, but why not to try it? I was just looking for inspiration for some other C-model - thoughts about some supercar Porsche or Lambo

  6. 42079 doesn't have pneumatics For this scale of car you dont have enough space to fit it with batterybox + pneumatic pistons Also i don't like lego pneumatics much, because it doesn't work in linear way. Even that said my latest creation is with pneumatics and it works very well https://bricksafe.com/pages/klimax/zzz-in-progress/caterpillar-m322d-wheel-excavator-from-42043
  7. Inspired by official lego B-model 42079 Tow Truck built from 42043 Mercedes Benz Arocs with enhanced functions:* HOG front wheel steering* Opening hood and doors* Adjustable seats* Flat 4 piston engine connected to rear axle* Front winch with lock* Rear arm with hook* Rear collapsible tow bar with lock* Working car jackExcept parts from 42043 set, you would need string74 pages of generated instructions (A4 landscape orientation) Instructions sample and more pictures here: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-25193/klimax/tow-truck-42079-alternate-42043-c-model 42079 Heavy duty forklift A-model in progres as long as another 6 models (all built from 42043 Mercedes Benz Arocs) to see here: https://bricksafe.com/pages/klimax/zzz-in-progress
  8. Actually added much more playability than the original model, look at the youtube video + Openable hood with fake 3-piston engine (driven by front wheels)+ Articulated chasis with big and small turntables in the centre - HOG controls turning, tilting of the model copies surface it runs on+ Bigger manually operable dump bed with automatic closing back side via string + space left from battery box allowed me to create exhaust system model has also almost twice as much parts than 8264 My 3 year old son doesn't handle motor functions well, and i don't want to let him brake motor or linear acutator, so I prefer models without motors Too bad I couldn't fit opening cabin doors This model will also fit to my other models of mostly construction vehicles made from 42043 (with exception of 1 model using pneumatics and motor moving piston) 6 models from 42043 are waiting for creating instruction, for which I don't have enough time, because I like building, not modeling on PC :(
  9. Inspired by official lego model 8264 Hauler with enhanced functions: * Openable hood with fake 3-piston engine (driven by front wheels) * Independent rear swinging suspension * Articulated chasis with big and small turntables in the centre - HOG controls turning, tilting of the model copies surface it runs on * Bigger manually operable dump bed with automatic closing back side via string * white bodywork, black cabin, gray dump bed There is no motor and battery box (as in original model), I wanted to have all functions operated manually, it gave me place to create exhaust system behind the cabin Except parts from 42043 set, you would need at least 30cm string 74 pages of generated instructions (A4 landscape orientation) details and instructions: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-23454/klimax/volvo-articulated-truck-42043-mercedes-benz-arocs-3245-c-model-inspired-by-8264-hauler more pictures: https://bricksafe.com/pages/klimax/volvo-articulated-truck-8264-alternate-42043-c-model Model sturdyness tested by 3 years old child :)

  11. Thanks Me and my son found this model when watching some youtube videos and he liked it. It's hardly to be found to buy, so I took 42043 and built it from this set. The goal is to build small to mid-size models. Sturdy enough, it won't fall apart when played by 3 years old, but adding as much 'functions' as possible. For children optics the overal shape is definitelly unimportant as long is it has many gears, wheels, paddles, etc. to play with. Even though I'm trying to keep the shape realistic enough, so it will match actual real existing vehicle I have 3 more MOCs from 42043 Mercedes Benz Arocs. All are in queue for creating instructions. And on another one I'm wotking right now. 3 of them are alternatives of existing older lego model technic models from (2005-2012).My time is limited, so it should take months to finish :(
  12. Yes, it was just option to build mine loader from Arocs without needing any other set, that was the goal. Also adding some 'operation or moving parts' to the model, to make it more playable for my almost 3 years old son. I've also changed wheel axle mechanism + adding motor and 4x4 drive, because there was enough space. There is no space for pneumatics and linear acutator to be added to the model. If i'd have another universal joint, i'd make bucket lifting operated rfom rear part of the model as well, but there isn one. Even Arocs is perfect set as parts donor, I don't like peumatick arm, because it is not working correctly. I had it built just once. With details you are correct, i have totally missed cabin and steering wheel position on pictures, the same for rear lights Both of them doesn't carry any function, so can be easily updated
  13. Inspired by official lego model 42049 Mine loader with enhanced functions and more real design * cabin with steering wheel* bucket in front (clamps as alternate build)* 6 piston engine* 4x4 drive with diferential* dark bodywork, light gray motor, white cabin Comparission with 42049 TLG official set 59 pages of generated instructions (A4 landscape orientation) for both versions (bucket + clamps)Full gallery + instructions sample https://bricksafe.com/pages/klimax/mine-loader-42049-alternate-42043-c-model moc details + instructions on https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-20943/klimax/mine-loader/ ---------- 3 more MOCs from 42043 Mercedes Benz Arocs are in queue for creating instructions1 from same model in build right now my time is limited, so it should take months to finish :(
  14. I've built it, it was a perfect experience. I would say that this model is almost the same quality as the A-model Supercar. I like, that both sides are not symmetrical, so every time you build a different function, both gears are nicely hidden Thanks for free digital model and pdf instructions, if you would do some video of function, i would not be afraid to make it as a premuim model for money, it definitely has the value. I found several mistakes: highlight of new pieces would make it easier to follow p19 do not insert axle7, it is duplicated on p51 so it cant be set together on 64 -- same situation with pins on p53 vs p22 p44 callout bad order p74 8 hard to see pin position p100 step3 blue 3l pins in bad orientation 4x blue pin + 2x black pin from bellow handling rear part of the body completelly missing I did several small bodywork changes mostly to fill holes, or match color + redone rear function of worm gear to handle spoiler function. I wanted to update design file with updates but without luck, the model doesn't correctly open in stud.io or LDD, and i can't work ldcad (or in which program it was built) Don't you have option to export it as lxf? I would at least take photos for you to see Photos can be seen here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/ph3m64wtxpcq4tm/AAAaHlXs4MJUcQ-OTCRHwVEaa?dl=0 I've commented your MOC on rebrickable thanks a lot again for the instructions
  15. Thank you, I'm looking forward to build this, once having little time among building my own mocs.
  16. Hello, I want to share with you my first creation after 20 years in dark ages without lego Inspired by official lego model 42005 Monster Truckgreat color designoptimized for playabilityenhanced functions:* better steering radius (only front axle steering) new functions:* reel with hook* tilting trunk* openable gull-wing dooras any other tracked vehicle on hard floors it lacks, better play with it on carpetor as an alternative use big wheels (41896 43.2 x 26 Technic Racing wheel + 45982 Tyre 81.6 x 38 R Balloon) Side by side comparission with 42005 (with wheels and tyres) 130 pages of generated instructions for intermediate level builder (A4 landscape orientation) full gallery + instructions sample: https://bricksafe.com/pages/klimax/monster-truck-42005-alternate-42038-c-model moc details + instructions on https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-19398/klimax/monster-truck
  17. I know I might be little late with this question, but did you have a chance to finish instructions or model in digital format? I haven't found model on rebrickable. thanks for answer
