  1. In theory max speed should be 4.84 km/h. But the model is definitely slower. (198rpm/60)*3*43.2*π/0.001=1.344 m/s
  2. About 3.5 km/h. Fast enough to hit all the furniture in the room. :D Thanks. In order to save space I was forced to exclude a differential from the build. I'll record a video as soon as I get a good weather outside.
  3. 42109 set inspired me to create something more interesting. And I ended up building Porsche 911 using Powered Up elements from the set. It is fully compatible with Control+ app. Final drive ratio is 3:1.
  4. Poorly due to geometry of the model. Plus ground clearence is very low so its very likely to damage the motors.
  5. This is a model of Battle Trak vehicle from the all-time classic Rock n' Roll Racing game. Powered by BuWizz 2.0 and 2 RC Buggy Motors. LXF instructions
  6. I can confirm that servo works good now if you set axis dead zone to 0. If it is not 0 servo can and will eventually miss center point. For example 10% dead zone will generate about 9° gap for zero position.
  7. Servo works better with this version. Nevertheless it misses center point up to 5° after each steering input. Yet version 2.3 is the best one in terms of servo functionality because motor behaves with it just like in Control+.
  8. Got this update. It broke servo functionality of PU motors. L motor fails to return to center no matter what. I guess it is the same issue markaus experiencing. upd: downgrade to version 2.3 fixed servo issues.
  9. I think the easiest way to fix this for everyone is to add an option to swap outputs if necessary.
  10. This update broke the numbering of the outputs of BuWizz. They are swapped. 1 is 2, 2 is 1, 3 is 4 and 4 is 3.
  11. Thank you very much. This version works flawlessly with PU system.
  12. After reducing the friction in the steering mechanism of the model everything started to work better. You can control the model perfectly most of the time but nevertheless the L-motor struggles to return to center sometimes. upd: after some tests I noticed something. Trying to steer using smooth moves of an anolog stick causes the L-motor to struggle. Trying to steer using aggresive and fast moves of an analog stick works better.
  13. Noticed a weird behavior when using analog stick on Logitech F310. Dpad works fine. upd: works the same way on another F310 and Xbox 360 controller upd2.: PF Servo + BuWizz works fine using the same setup
  14. Same here. But in my case it overshoots when returning from the left position. When returning from the right L motor centers itself correctly most of the time.
  15. Thanks for the update! The app works great. I hope an option to switch BuWizz output levels during play will be implemented soon.
  16. This is an extremely useful app. Works much better than the official one. The only thing BrickController is lacking for me is being able to switch BuWizz modes on the fly.
  17. I tried to connect using 4 different phones yesterday (Xiaomi Mi5S, Xiaomi Mi5S Plus and two Sony Experia Z3 Compact). And got no luck. So I decided to put it in a box of dried rice for the night and it might somehow have fixed the problem (because there was no way for moisture to penetrate BuWizz). After about 10 hours it works fine again.
  18. There seems to be a problem with my BuWizz 2.0. It randomly crashed into "Firmware update failed" (the app never started updating the firmware) and nothing listed in the user guide helped. To be precise it blinks red for some time, turns off, then green or red light blinks once and then keeps on blinking red again. The only way I managed to make it functional again is by trying to connect to it in the app many times, but after some time the problem occured again and I wasn't able to connect to BuWizz ever since. The app just says "Connection gone" upon clicking the "Start engine" button.
