[MOC] Mini Modular Expansion: Pizzeria
PRbrickbuilder replied to PRbrickbuilder's topic in LEGO Licensed
Thank you for the feedback! -
Hello! I really enjoyed this wave of Marvel mini modulars, a great idea imo. I have 76311 and 76317, so I decided to expanded the city with a pizzeria. I also build a rooftop, which can be put above the pizzaria or the bodega. It follows the mini modular design language, and several combinations can be achieved: Free instructions for the pizzeria and for the rooftop can be found in Rebrickable. I hope you enjoy! https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-246386/PRbrickbuilder/mini-modular-pizzeria/#details https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-245645/PRbrickbuilder/rooftop-for-76311/#details

Marvel Superheroes 2025 - Rumors & Discussion

An idea of an X-Men set for the mini-modular New York: an arcade. It could be in the $54 price/size range, and come with Jubilee, Sunspot, Wolverine (it is inevitable) and Bastion. -

Now's that an outstanding wave of sets! The concept of City theme meets Marvel theme is great imo, as gives us the opportunity to build your own city for a more affordable price than the big modular sets (Ninjago, modulars and superhero D2Cs). I know everything is expensive proportionally, but at least to me 76317 feels more worth than 76309, for instance. I'm getting good figs and a building which looks good on display, and the Venom car just does not offer that. The train set is superb, and 76322 might be the best of these portal sets. Some highlights: - MJ with red hair - Eddie with Venom ooze - Aunt May and JJJ in the train It occurred to me now: City this year is very vehicle focused, due to F1 sets. So Marvel became building focused. Everything is balanced, as it should be. -

Weirdly enough, the smaller Endgame set also has Ironman, so on top of all you'll get a repeat if you buy both sets which are meant to connect... Ant-man mech is actually nice, but I would prefer it as a separated set. I think the better sets are the ones still to be revealed: FF v Galactus, two Spidey buildings and Iron Patriot Mark 2. -

Black suit Spidey would look great against Hobgoblin and Anti-Venom (and also against Kraven in the other set). But I know I'm asking too much -

Wow, a set of three superheroes buildings(perhaps even attachable to each other) instead of random spider-vehicles is a breath of fresh air! A possibility I've seen online is that Peter's apartment actually goes above the Miles set. Good choices, just I think Shocker is not in the show. There is a similar character which is actually Scorcher (and would also be a good pick for the figs). -

Wow, that Spiderverse set is beyond great! $40 with 4 figs (2 new characters), and a set which focus more on the building than the car! Anti-Venom set is the only missing. It would be wild if the Spider-man fig in the mech was using the symbiote suit (props to Ashnflash for the idea) -

Plo Koon's Starfighter is a chance for Wolffe and the wolfpack, right? It is one of the remaining clone troops to be made in the newer style. -

These sets look so good, they are basically what most people were expecting in the current wave: larger terrain builds! This wave of sets explains the volcano Easter egg in one the maps. I hope it come to fruition (perhaps without the gimmick, for the sake of a cheaper price). 60692 is great, it is begging for Johnny Thunder to be a part of it!
-
Of all the jungle sets, 60427 is the best, imo. It has proportionally the mos amount of terrain, the great new tiger piece, Johnny, and the vehicle is not an 4x4, which was my expectation. This vehicle could even be, with a bit of modding, turned into a Space vehicle, for the 2024 space line. It is interesting how LEGO really is investing in terrains which connect through clips in multiple sets. City Jungle, City harbor, and also Star Wars sets in this wave.

A very strong wave, all builds look good, and I even like the builds more than the figs. I like the battlepack tower, set would be perfect with another hydra agent instead of Mark 45. Leviathan set is great, and I like the new capes! -

Okay, that is a pretty interesting mech. I was waiting for an all orange one and they go for an "Anime X-Wing Mech"! June sets are good, I like the focus on terrains. And $10 Rex is great too, imo! -
Cool, these are my most anticipated sets of the summer! And thanks!

Great job! A very nice display piece! -
Are the City Jungle sets also expected to be revealed this week? I cannot find if they are June releases.

It is good to finally have visual confirmation of the Johnny Thunder fig. Great torso and head pieces. I hope that is the case. Tan/dark tan did not work together in the fig. And this leg piece exists, it is the leg piece for the Safari Rescue team for last year sets, so a misplacement is possible. Plain black legs are enough for him, imo. Black legs with pocket prints would be welcome.

Gorilla is great! I hope one of them has silverback printing. Yeah, I would like to see a chameleon reuse. There is potential for so many recolors!- 5,738 replies

Now that's a tiger! Way better than the last one, imo. Croc is good, and red panda looks bigger than I antecipated. And both red panda and tiger use the new dark orange color! So each set has a single main species. Red panda + Johnny Thunder sounds like a must have for me. Also interested in the tiger set. Let's see if the the other explorers are a task force like 2017 jungle set, or if there are new Adventurers besides Johnny.- 5,738 replies

Do you think either the Red Panda or the Tiger will use the new Dark Orange color? I think it would be fitting for Red Panda. The tiger could use regular orange, imo.

Nice work! If the Lego Movie CMFs counts, there is Apocalypse Benny from TLM2 CMF, which also belongs to the Classic Space Agency. I wonder what is the backstory on the fig from 31111, though: a spyrius looking robot with the Classic Space logo. Was he reformed? Or is he the first of its kind, built by the Classic Space agency intended for good, then later was stolen and reprogrammed by the Spyrius spies?
