  1. I wonder if the existence of the Batcave D2C hinders the possibility of the Marvel D2C also being a building. Is a D2C Quinjet possible, even if they just made a system one?
  2. - Did you get a Morbius minifigure? - Yes. - What did it cost? - Cosmo, High Evolutionary, Gamora, all the Quantumania minifigures and half of the Marvels set piece count.
  3. Expectation: I hope LEGO Marvel begins to make microfighters like SW, I would like it! Reality: LEGO Star Wars begins making mechs like Marvel
  4. Constraction figures of the three marvels without minifigures, 3x30=$90
  5. With just 420 pieces for $80 I don't even know anymore what to expect. A large 4+ set?
  6. Could the new Dalmatian mold from the Disney CMF be used to Cosmo? I don't know if they are able to print the whole head of the modl (since Cosmo has nougat/brown fur). Just to know if this is another Firefly helmet situation...
  7. Shouldn't the Bowie be Sand Green instead of Teal? Odd color choice from LEGO. Agreed. The $35 set definitely needed more minifigs.
  8. I need to divide my comments on the Gotg sets in two parts, a general one and an anecdote of mine: 1) The builds are good (better than the figure selection), and it is nice the uniforms have leg and toe printing, but WHERE IS COSMO? You know, the dog! 2) My only guardians figs are Rocket, Groot and Gamora. Why LEGO, why did you put all the guardians I do not have in the largest and more expensive set? Why?
  9. Do you think we'll see the Guardians sets this week? I'm looking forward to them, and they even have a sooner release date than the Ant-man set.
  10. The set is actually good imo, I like it! But I agree there should be a Kang minifig at least in the set!
  11. That would be a perfect NWH wave imho.
  12. I hope they make sets for the mainstream PG-13 movies and also that they make a "non-related" Batman set with a Swamp Thing big fig when the Swamp thing movie is out, for instance.
  13. These four are the most likely picks. I hope LEGO does a full 3-set wave at least for each one of them.
  14. The minifig looks better to me than the movie design, maybe because is not so dark. The face expression is great!
  15. Yeah, LEGO only introduced villains without movie exposition in big sets (Scorpion and Kraven in the bridge), and the Scorpion mold was reused in a mighty micros set. Lego focused heavily on Mysterio and Vulture, for instance, after their debut in the movies. This means NWH might actually propel LEGO to release a 616 Electro in the future (and a 616 Lizard). But at the moment there was not even time for proper NWH sets.
  16. Is it possible that the box rendering errors are the reason of still no reveal? The antennas in the 501st battle pack and the lack of arm printing in Vader in the box of TIE Bomber would then need to be adjusted in the HD pics and in the next batch of LEGO boxes, I suppose.
  17. Perhaps the existence of a whole wave of spidey 4+ sets increases the chances of the smallest Gotg set being a regular one. My best case scenario would be it comes with 3 minifigures, to compensate the few 67 pieces. Almost like a battle pack/accessory set. I think at total we might get 2/3+3+5/6 figures, so between 10-12 figs. Peter, Drax, Rocket and Mantis with the same torso, Nebula with the same torso but a silver arm, Groot, Cosmo, Gamora, Adam Warlock and High Evolutionary are 10 minifigs. This leaves space for Kraglin and maybe a reuse or one alternate suit.
  18. The big crab creatures also look like a good set choice.
  19. The use a windscreen for the microfighter is a departure from the norm. Usually, there is only some cheese slopes representing the windscreen. But it is a good piece to get, and to me the set is a cheap way to finally get a Boba figure for my Slave One MOC, and also a parts pack.
  20. Actually, it is comic based, so good news for you: it is from the cover of Rocket (2017), #2. (The last link wasn't working, so I changed, @cosmic)
  21. Looks like a good wave! I'm surprised every set is just one main build, without any side builds. It is a different approach taken by LEGO. The quinjet is stellar for me! And the hulkbuster is great!
  22. James Gunn gave an interview about the holiday special, and there is a strong clue on what's the $100 set: https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie-features/james-gunn-guardians-of-the-galaxy-holiday-special-1235265608/
  23. I don't think so. But the piece count does seem to suggest it. 67 pieces is closer to the piece count of 4+ sets than to the piece count of Eternals' Aerial Assault, which has 133 pieces. Regarding the Iron Man fig, it could be a fig for the $500 hulkbuster, too.
  24. At 1:53, right? And I guess it not the one from 0:55, which look like a regular western boat. A Wakandan boat sounds like a good set. Boats usually have larger pieces which sadly increase the price of the set. But Namora was needed. It is not "Water Wars" when there are 4 figs vs just Namor.
