  1. Lego Shop Modular arrived after initially being delivered to a completely different street despite shipping box having two perfectly legible address labels. Nice person who received it walked it over herself. Unbelievable!
  2. Same here. Looking forward to receiving it.
  3. Review shows some of the details being discussed / questioned.
  4. Just got email that Great Fishing Boat has finally shipped.
  5. No. Pretty weird. Still available in US.
  6. I'm guessing A frame cabin and BTS sets will be approved this time around.
  7. Two new tin signs are now available as VIP rewards: a city themed one and a friends themed one.
  8. Pics of long rumored Elvis art set are now on line. I'm trying to keep its existence secret from my wife until I can purchase for her. She is a huge Elvis fan: goes to Elvis Week every year, attends ETA shows, etc....
  9. In my experience, Lego has always rounded up on the penny for GWPs. On many occasions my purchase has been one penny short of the stated cutoff, and the GWP has still appeared in my cart and shipped. Boutique Hotel is back in stock in US and if that remains the case for a few more days I plan on putting that to the test once again. Edit: Was back in stock, now out of stock again. Hopefully I'll be able to come up with some qualifying combo of sets that I am interested in and which are actually in stock to qualify.
  10. Congratulations. I'm glad I got my contribution in early, before things got really backed up.
  11. VIP coins and case are available again in US, and likely other parts of world as well.
  12. Timing couldn't have been better. Brickfanatics has us covered. https://www.brickfanatics.com/inside-lego-bricklink-designer-program-boxes/
  13. I would definitely pay $60 a year for access to limited edition products and ability to purchase from back catalogue.
  14. What does the inside of the box look like?
  15. I am thankful that Lego put this out so that the few folks who were apparently so distraught about the issue can get back to living their lives.
  16. So the discussion that the Santa's living room set was cancelled because of a naughty list tile appears to have originated from this linked on-line piece. I think it is important to note the title is "Is this why LEGO cancelled its second Christmas 2021 set?" Note the question mark. The text reads in part "But could it be that the LEGO Group ultimately decreed that an angry Santa wielding a ‘naughty list’ was just too miserly for a festive model?" Note another question mark. The text continues "Remember, this is just speculation at this point: we don’t know exactly why the LEGO Group shelved 40489 Mr. and Mrs. Claus’s Living Room, and chances are we never will." Speculation: Noun defined as the forming of a theory or conjecture without firm evidence. Nobody but Lego appears to really know why the set was cancelled or postponed. Dragging Lego across the proverbial coals based on a highly speculative guess as to what is going on seems pretty unfair to me. If the set is eventually releases with or without the tile in question, we will know whether or not Chris Wharfe actually has any idea what he is talking about. Until then, or until Lego releases a definitive explanation, it seems pointless to argue whether or not it was appropriate for Lego to delay the set over a naughty list piece because it is quite possible this isn't the real reason at all.
  17. Timemail is making a little joke about how this has been blown way out of proportion.
  18. Venetian Houses became the second set in the second round to sell out today.
  19. From the program FAQ: "Will there be printed building instructions? No, the building instructions will be available in a digital form. Designer Program sets will feature digital building instructions provided by the LEGO® Building Instructions app. Digital instructions not only reduce cost, they help us fulfil our Planet Promise by using less paper and saving on shipping weight, which in turn reduces emissions while delivering your set to you. The app lets you zoom, rotate and view your model in 3D and ghost view mode to see how far you’ve come and what part you’re in the process of building. The LEGO Building Instructions app is great at keeping track of complex builds and makes it easy to save your building steps online so you can recycle instruction books. PDF building instructions will also be made publicly available when sets begin shipping."

  21. In the past, I've seen them list retiring sets as out of stock and then they have reappeared for end of year sales and the like so I wouldn't give up hope.
