  1. I think it's happened to a few people. Enough for me to have seen a reddit thread about it anyway. Specifically, US/CAD customers who ordered express. Between that and other stories on here, Lego seem to have had a bit of a messy launch
  2. Fair, I know once I start I won't want to stop. But yeah, half term. Looking forward to it though! In regards to New Asgard, that Miek head is bizzare. I also wasn't really expecting him to be a minifigure, but I can't deny he looks accurate so far. Korg on the other hand... I still think he should have been a big fig, and I'm not a fan of that head print.
  3. Add me to the list of Rebels > TCWs fans! Despite TBB also being more consistent like Rebels, it hasn't grabbed me yet. So I'm kind of torn with the shuttle. I don't want it, and I'm not even a huge fan of the characters, but I do like their minifigs... And I bet they'll end up quite expensive bought separately. What a conundrum (I know I could just buy the set, take the figures and try and sell the rest but I don't want to go that route)
  4. How much time do you think it's taken you so far? I've got a day off on Tuesday so I'm planning on putting on some Spidey films and devoting the day to it. So far all I've done is dug out Daredevil, Punisher and Blade to compare to the rest of my fig collection.
  5. I'm so behind on this thread and only just caught up, so sorry if this is redundant, but these sets look awesome! I've just bought the Marvel D2C so I probably won't buy anything else for a while until I recoup the cost, but I definitely will try to get my hands on those minifigures at some point. Put me down as another person who loves the Trexler. That's a definite buy for me. I also like the charm and simplicity of the Throne Room set. No unnecessary extras wasting bricks or inflating the price. Slave I I'm interested in, but after ToT I may leave it a while to see what the BoBF sets look like (for that awesome Boba and Fennec figs), and see how the build stacks up against prior Slave Is. It's a vehicle that I still don't have but there's a space reserved on my shelf for it I dread to think how much some of these figs will cost second hand though. So yeah, 'I say patience'.
  6. My Bugle arrives in an hour! Very excited. But I'd be more excited if it wasn't half term and I had a proper chance to build it It'll be worth the wait, I'm sure
  7. My Bugle's in transit and I ordered the Ethan Hunt torso just before I went away. So glad it looks as good as it does! That top pic especially is like the perfect Punisher imo! There are other comic heroes I'd rather see, but if a comic Guardians set came out I'd probably try and grab the figures at very least. I love Star-Lord's circa 2008 costume, and his more recent 'Grounded' era costume, more than his movie one personally. Basically, as long as they didn't have their Bendis era costumes I'd probably buy them.
  8. Made me panic then (not that I can't wait a bit longer). Still seems to be okay in the UK. I did notice the set selling for £50 over RRP on eBay before it had even come out though
  9. When I get back home I can send you some. It's certainly not as grand as the one in that video and still needs refining, but I like how it's turned out this time (I've rebuilt it 4 times now, it was originally just 2 of the 2020 version built together, but every time I have a new idea for it it grows wider and taller ). The tall floors of the Bugle inspired the latest change.
  10. That all sounds awesome, I'd love to see it. Using the Bugle for the Metlife is a great idea! I can't afford to buy two, but I've mod'd/moc'd an Avengers tower that is about the same size as the Bugle (I think). Just need to add a base of some sort, met life or otherwise, the curved glass side (under the balcony/landing pad) and fill the interior.
  11. Happy for everyone who got their orders in. Just checked and it's still in stock in the UK - hopefully it stays that way!
  12. Yeah, I can kind of see it as a modern college Pete, but it's a much more 'Flash' torso to me. I've never really seen a cheap FFH Peter though so it'll probably be a while before I make the change. I hope not, but I can see it happening tbh, especially considering how many times I've seen the phrase 'best Marvel set ever' thrown around.
  13. I really hope the Bugle doesn't sell out straight away. I'm away at the moment and so I was planning to delay my order so it arrives when I'll definitely be home. Also, I was thinking about the conversation we were all having about minifigure changes. I don't have the FFH Peter figure, but if you already had that, I was thinking the new Peter torso might be useful for a purist Flash Thompson? Change the head and hair and its got a varsity jacket look.
  14. Which is good because those are the only ones I have! Haha I thought they would get more use in the Spider-Man line when they were introduced tbh. Pete and Miles always being the same height doesn't sit right with me.
  15. An Avengers Tower modular would be interesting because the comic and film versions are so different. In fact, the film version only appears in the comics twice to my knowledge, once in an alt-future and once in the background after being sold off. I assume that's still the design Lego would use were they to make the building, but then would it be MCU figures only? That would make a lot of fans happy. But conversely would they want to keep the modular comic focused. In which case would the build end up looking more like the Spider-Man PS4 version, or just the original tall, plain building with the jazzy Sentry tower/Asgardian outpost on the top? Personally I hope they explore other buildings first because I've been trying to perfect my own for a while now, so if I finally finish my version and they announce their own I'll be a bit peeved haha As for changes to minifigures, there are some good ideas on here already. My plans were to change Gwen's hair to the aforementioned Supergirl friends hairpiece if I can get a hold of it. For Punisher, I've bought the Ethan Hunt torso so I'll swap the arms and give him different legs (with some sort of holster of straps) for a more modern look. Considering swapping Jonah's hair for the OG Doctor Strange hairpiece. Changing Robbie's face to something else due to the mustache. Give Blade a hairpiece. Probably the slicked back one. And I may give Miles the mid legs, and potentially remove the head and hood and give him a face (I think I have a few Finn heads lying around) for a civilian look.
  16. I think the thing I'm most excited for now is seeing the interior. What are you all expecting? Now that we can see it's four floors, I think my guess from about 150+ pages ago (we've covered so much ground) still works: A lobby/reception, offices (maybe with a dark room), a printing press and a recording studio.
  17. This was pretty much my exact first impression. But the more I look at it the more I dig it.
  18. That is not how I was expecting it to look at all. The bright red fire escape is an interesting choice. Bold look overall. I think I like it.
  19. That photo is hilariously bad. But it's something I guess. Blade and Firestar torsos look cool though. I wonder how many more leaks we'll see today.
  20. All this set needs now is some built in speakers to blast out a guitar riff. Yeah, same. We're already on... What? 15 characters? Presumably a taxi driver as well makes 16. 9 more characters made up of a mix of Bugle staff/Spidey supporting characters and random civvies is doable (although a slightly lower number seems more realistic to me)
  21. Such a strange assemblage of heroes. Back at the start of all of this, I was longing for Cage, Iron Fist and Jessica Jones. But Daredevil, Punisher, Spider-Gwen, Blade and Firestar? Very worthwhile alternatives. What are we thinking about an Iceman inclusion? Edit: Oh, nevermind on that last bit haha.
  22. Thanks. It's going to be a long 3 days! Also, they should mimic the Infinity Saga box art for this, but replace Thanos with Jonah.
  23. Fun. How long is it usually between teasers and reveals? Are we still expecting Tuesday?
  24. Yeah, it just seemed like it came out of left field. Would be awesome if true though, and would be enough to sate everyone - enough room for plenty of heroes, villains AND civilians. I think it might have been mentioned a while back but I don't think it was very prominent in the discussion. If it does continue I hope to see some Thor sets, there are some great designs in those films, regardless of the overall quality.
  25. The Insta leakers are running wild with this new Bugle stuff. But I noticed some things that none of us have talked about here.. Fulcrum seems to think it will look like the Flatiron building with no back. And someone else said 25 figures. Where's that number come from? Edit: Hah, beaten to it, kind of.
