  1. Hello, i was wondering if anyone had come up with a good way to make a Canto Bight police officer? I did make my own version with the parts I have and I saw Inthert's version too yet i'm not convinced by either. My version (with poor sticker customisation attempt on the head): Inthert's version:
  2. As fan of the ARC-170 myself, I find this absolutely stunning. You simply nailed the nose section! As for your problem with the gap in the underside section, i would recommend trying to use wedge plates to fill the gaps to the sides. I hope this can help and i look forward to more progress.
  3. These are very cool and detailed designs! I suggest you make a Fenn Rau minifigure next :D
  4. Very cool MOC/MOD, I also have the original set and I must say that your dark red version is much more intimidating. Well done!
  5. Yes, I see what you mean but as you noticed, the blue lines normally continue even further so I can see how I could make it work unless i used stickers. I also don't have any more of that specific piece so yeah Oh and thank you for the kind comment!
  6. Thank you :D I tried to compromise between scale and level of detail/accuracy. And yes I haven't seen any other MOC of this speeder either.
  7. Hello, I'd like to share with you my Canto Bight Police Speeder MOC I saw these in the last jedi and I found their design to be quite interesting so I tried to recreate them with my bricks. There are a few things that bother me with my design but it is the best I could do with the bricks I have. I mostly used the Hasbro toy as a reference (removing the huge cannons) since they aren't many good pictures for this vehicle yet. Let me know what you think of it
  8. Okay, I'll keep a lookout for it
  9. Very nice MOC, it does indeed look very sturdy. I also love the first picture's composition with the red bricks Having seen them in action in the movie, I was wondering if you have shortened the "ski" part which appears a bit too long in my opinion. Pictures of your updated version are also welcome
  10. Ok, I understand. I wish you good luck in acquiring all pieces and I can't wait to see the finished result.
  11. What are the limitations around the shoulder joint? I could perhaps try to come up with a design if you give us a few more pictures of the shoulder Technic parts. Just so you don't have to change too many things. Also, if you know what weight the shoulder would have to carry, that could be useful.
  12. Hello there, Nice work on that evil tower. I think I have an idea for the top of it. Maybe you could add a large energy crystal from which the evil mage could get his magic from. Colour-wise, I think that a bright green could work quite well, contrasting with the black of the tower and red of the lava but that's just an idea. I hope this can give you some inspiration
  13. I'd like to make a point about the resistance bombers as I have seen quite a few people complaining about how they used gravity to drop their bombs while being in 0g. First, we see the crew members walking normally on ship decks all of the time in Star Wars whereas they should be floating around if they are in the 0g of space right? I don't know whether the explanation for this behavior is that there are gravity generators inside ships or simply that it's a movie so it doesn't really matter so long as it looks better. Secondly, who said they were just dropped? I might need to re-watch the movie but it looks fairly plausible to me that they are not dropped but launched at relatively low speed along rails on the sides, making them like a very slow missile. I also want to point out that I loved the way the bomber were really slow. I'm glad they didn't make them over-powered ships with huge 'firepower' and speed.
  14. First of all, great job all around, it looks amazing! I hope this is not really a spoiler but in the movie, their front leg can be spaced further apart outward, emphasizing the gorilla look. Are you planning on modifying your model so it can be posed as such? I think that some sort of round hinge at the "shoulders" and "feet" should do the trick. I don't know about how it might affect its stability though. I can't wait to see pictures of the real life version
  15. I saw The Last Jedi yesterday with a friend and I am really pleased with the movie. I mean: space battles, ground battles, lightsaber duels, jedi training, infiltration missions, good guys running away from the badies in a desperate situation, a bit of humour here and there, new ships and planets... To me, that's kind of everything a Star Wars movie needs Now onto the Lego side of things! As mentionned by TeufelHund, no Heavy Scout Walker to be seen in the movie and Executioner Stormtroopers do not really belong to a Battlepack. For future set ideas/hopes: Snoke's throne room is definitely one with some Praetorians Guards :D One of the new A-wing could be nice (other than a micro-fighter) Maybe the First Order AT-ST we see in the Supremacy during Finn and Phasma's fight or even a playset of the fight in the hangar. The ship stolen by DJ could be cool to see with a minifig of this new character. I can bet on a Canto Bight playset with either the Casino, the prison, the fathiers and/or the Cantonian police speeder Possibly another playset of the Raddus with General Holdo and a few other resistance officers, a bit like the 7754-1 Home One Mon Calamari Star Cruiser And if they can manage to make a Volptex figure/piece I'll be very satisfied
