  1. Forget the build where can i see more pictures of your build space .... I can only dream ... The build though I can hear the sounds of the flowing water the birds echoing off the canopy the gentle breeze the slightly sticky humidity .... But that flower ... I think that is perfection of an orchid in real life size so in minifig wow. Do you have more works of mezo style temples or structures?
  2. Thats quite the flower lol I think it turned out pretty good ... Some great story shots ... But who coming ... Are the hostile ... Are the some strange kult .... Are they head hunters ...
  3. I think it works well seems like a well rounded crew ... Look forward to your journey
  4. I like this quite a bit ... Good work
  5. This ... This .... Is pure genius ... I never saw it coming but it makes so much sense ... Clever designing sir my hats off to you
  6. I really like this one ... Youve plucked an idea right from my own brain with the split from underwater to above .... Im really getting into the story now too ... Its ashame the deadline is comming
  7. I think what hes saying is hes a stay inside and play with legos kinda person not a go outside and look at flowers lmao
  8. I was assuming he was growing pineapples ???
  9. Oddly enough my favorites are the lantern and the potbelly stove IC: I think its good the FTA sets up shop in other ports that way issues can be addressed quickly and promptly. As long as there's not a break in the organisations communication I see them continuing to grow.
  10. I like the way it splits into two building plates and how you've blended the bricks to match the preprinted panels ... I may have to borrow that technique ...
  11. Clever little crop and storage shed I like the roof the best. Interesting back story
  12. You seem to have uncanny tallent for insects
  13. Ahh it all makes sense now lol I just want to know where all these awesome parts were 25 years ago lol i feel like im having to learn lego again lol
  14. I actually like the twist ... I always enjoyed my trading post as a kid ... At first admitedly saw the moon rock and wished you would have used the water base from either set but looking a second time i actually think it works ... The craters give it a blasted by cannon fire look lol. I like your crane looks good. Only thing i wish you would have added was the second dock like on the trading post with the hidden chest in the roof ... Was my favorite part I actually like the twist ... 15. The fly I think is the real prize here the trans bricks do a alarming well interpretation of wings Seems this species if fly trap impales its prey rather than merely capturing it like its known relatives
  16. Haha some of us wish we had the time or energy to devote that you do ... Lol seems im always short on one or the other ... Plus without dedicated build space I need ample time to unpack/repack lol. I digress lol I may have to borrow your idea ... Oddly enough Ive been researching cannon production just havent committed to any portion. I like the depiction of the foundry ... Youve captured most of the elements well ... Only thing I question is how bright yours is ... Maybe they wernt as dark and dirty back then lmao. Overall I enjoyed the story of the process ... I like the way you cracked open to reveal the shooters
  17. Josh Im wondering how did you accomplish the archway bricks as the jury is leaving ... It seems the cheese wedges are simply levitating there as i can see no means for connection. I would have assumed you simply laid the unit on its back but the shadows say otherwise . . .???
  18. A messenger short of breath burst in to deliver a missive. "sorry for the intrusion I was told to deliver this straight away" The letter written in his own hand from Gustaf Von Bricktin: To whom it may concern - Good Sirs and Madams of the council. I have been notified via missive that a ship of my ownership was involved in suspected acts against your shipping fleets. While the details are yet to myself unclear as well. I request that what ever action is decided you return my vessel, without further damage, to me. Reasons being when I loaned the vessel known as The Drunken Monkey to Capitan Larvey it was under the pretense he would be making a escorted trade run. It was explained to me the escort was infact for protection as the recent stagnent air involving others of my nation and the Cories. Saying this you are welcome to detain Capitan Larvey until this matter is sorted out, but I request my vessel and a crew of sailors be allowed to leave port without issue. I am investigating from my end as I encourage you to do as well. I would like to maintain open discussions of findings within reasonable means of course. I remind you I am but a businessman much like many of you. Even though I only spent part of my youth in your ports I do hope for the mutual respect of a fellow trader. Please keep me abreast to any new developments involving this dastardly incident, and please keep in mind the ownership of the vessel was not that of the Capitan and further more I myself did not condone his accused actions. I hope we can work together to reach the bottom of this foul barrel. Signed Sir Gustaf Von Bricktin of Charlaton Bay
  19. When mine was set up a few weeks back it was on the summary by the end of the week.
  20. I really like the spider its executed well ... Plus the use of the glow in the dark piece is great.
  21. As far as the curve I was intending on side rails addressing some of that There are four working gun ports the others are dummy ports (four in the center ... Not sure if this was historical as only images i find of painted ports is far aft and fore) I was thinking this was too small to be a brig? Its on small hulls and only two sections but it probably would look ok rigged that way. Technically this would be my second age of sail Wip although im actually trying to make this more historic looking ... Even though im still not using any specific build plan My first: And I finished this one for the game before finishing either of my first two lol
  22. I see where your coming from ... what I was suggesting is employ two scales that represent the same ruler. so the first 1x1 plate scale would be placed by the full plant view and painted as if your character set it there. The second 2x2 brick scale would be used in your close up paintings thus tricking the mind to believe its the same ruler and creating a "forced perspective" and reinforcing that the plant is larger than the flower instead of the other way around. I hope that makes what i was saying clearer ... Like I said it was my only issue is in my mind it saw the scale the same and at first (making the flower larger than the plant) Ps my example is not perfect as I just threw it together and did not want to detract from your thread but - cover up the left tire and scale then swap and cover the other ... Until you analyse your mind believes its the same tire.
  23. I like the use of the human interface tool ... The painted edit is clever My only issue is the field rule ... I like its use in the flower shot but i wish you would have used 1x1 plates in the painting of the whole plant ... Sort of a forced perspective. Thats my only issue with it other than that its a solid build
  24. Remember you dont have to use black ... Ive seen textured bricks used like drawn curtains and even dark yellow with trans black giving hint of candlelight
  25. An interesting floor plan and quite the story to match ... I like the window treatments.
