  1. I HATE the heads. I wish LEGO used a head pieces, like hair, then a molded head that looks like it's for the Friends line. Frankly I think minidolls would look better.
  2. The price of every polybag is $5USD.
  3. It's $5, how generous can LEGO be? A chicken and a pig? I see it being one animal, pig or sheep and a minifigure on a tractor, much like the last one from long long ago.
  4. I think the polybag will be the return of the goat!
  5. Maybe my standards are low, I just want the grocery cart back in the upcoming overpriced grocery store.
  6. Just because Brickset says something doesn't make it right. I have not seen it anywhere on any Instagram or anything. That stood out to me too. The new Space rock pieces are $1.46 each part. The dome pieces are $2.50.
  7. Nope. They come out March 1st.
  8. The only pieces that I've seen added early are the March City Space sets, they were added January 1st I think. And I thought the press release said that the USA would change late February to mid March.
  9. If you already looked at the instructions then wouldn't you already know the answer?
  10. Don't worry about the english police. We got what you meant and that's all that is important.
  11. Yes, that could happen, but like City Space it wouldn't just be a space theme, it be under the Friends theme.
  12. I know it's the right word. Just as science has improved we know the dinosaurs died 66 million years ago, not 65 million. Do all the 'flying reptiles' even fit into what a modern reptile is? I'm a horticulturist. I have a Botany book from 15 years ago that uses completely different terms than 80-100 years ago. I guess my point is they can't just come up with a better term?
  13. The Quzetalcoatlus isn't technically a dinosaur, but frankly I think calling them 'flying reptiles' is even more incorrect. That's my favorite. It's my favorite dinosaur LEGO has even made.
  14. Only? You listed 5. I have three. I have 7498, 60246 that comes in Thursday, And the best of the post 2000 police stations... 7035! It has a tank, perfectly predicting the future of America. 60270 is a very underrated station. As a child I couldn't afford the expensive sets and a $40 little station that is still really nicely designed would have thrilled me.
  15. I agree with this. Try to save the colors / trees. Blacksmith Shop redone looks fine, but I HATE the tree. Either have decent trees or no trees. Can't wait to see the final model. I think it will be amazing.
  16. Dimensions had a bunch of license that never got made because the game was a massive failure. A Missy Doctor Who pack, Flintstones, Shrek just off the top of my head.
  17. 60047 is great. I have mine modded into an inGen dino research office. I think my favorite City one os 7498. It has a great mix of City and Town feel going on.
  18. I don't like Police Stations at all, but I use the parts and make them office buildings which 60246 has some good pieces for. I regret not getting more window planes for 6 cents. 60316 is a massive improvement, more so for the $30 cheaper price.
  19. It's why I believed LEGO was cheaper in the USA until like 3-4 years ago. 1992 minimum wage was raised to $4.25, that be $8.50 today. Before that it was like $3.35 in 1982, that's close to $9. Minimum wage is $7.25 still. And we have to pay for death care that we call health care. LEGO is cheaper, but cheaper isn't always better. Plus should be cheaper as quality control sucks, robots instead of humans, stickers instead of prints and plastic track instead of plastic and metal.
  20. I think I bought the old Police Station 60246 (aka the worst one ever) on eBay for $43. It was labeled 60316 but parts and instructions look like 60246. It's how I find cheap LEGO, just go on eBay and find mislabeled things for sale.
  21. And neither have wages. Inflation is a joke. Things cost more and more but I don't get paid more and more. More so in the USA where I live in a state where thankfully wages are not a slave wage of $7.25 an hour, but they don't keep up with inflation. And LEGO should be cheaper today then 20+ years ago. LEGO now uses dyes and worst types of plastic. Their quality has gone the drain. They use 95% stickers in sets instead of 95% prints. LEGO also fired large amount of workers and replaced them with robots.
  22. Scooby Doo didn't meet sale goals. Doctor Who has the Tardis, what else would you do? Is adventure Time still popular? The PowerPuff Girls were a bust so maybe that put the hold on other 1-2 off sets from different licenses. I say we didn't get a Universal Monster theme as the movie franchise fell apart and Hidden Side was around.
  23. Looks outside and see the snowstorm.... Come to New England and say that.
  24. Are you adding in the cost of batteries?
  25. All I remember from the first wave was that Walmart had the big set for $85 and all the boxes were destroyed. They looked like someone ripped 10-12 boxes open. This was before the movie even came out. My memory is shot. haha
