Thank you very much for the compliments! I thought about it, but unfortunately I think it is a building too large compared to the standard required by the competition.

I present my latest creation, a new MOC that will become part of the new version of my Winter Village 2013-2014: a Winter Farm! This is the first of 3 large buildings that I have in mind to achieve for the new diorama. The farm was a building must-have for my village and it was a great effort designing it and make it happen. Given its size and the use of detailed parts, the building is composed of about 2700 pieces including accessories. Currently it is the largest building that I built for my Village and was bound to have some important dimensions to be able to contain all that I had in mind. The usual challenge that I face every time is to be able to do something that is linear and in harmony with the rest of the village and although it is larger than almost all other buildings are still managed to keep it in the right scale. It had to be made almost entirely "wood" and then I played on two main colors: black and brown (in the two shades). The shape of the farm and in particular the roof were made basing on a famous photo of Moulton Ranch (Grand Teton National Park) (see image below). The most complex part in fact has been the realization of the roof. I managed with some parts technic to realize the structure of the roof in such a way that would allow me to have the barn free of any pole or bearing wall. The two sides of the roof rests on the floor of the lift-arm through which discharge the weight in such a way as not to burden the central plate that he could not hold all without a double point of support. The structure that I created also allows you to open the roof (by removing two axle) more comfortably and make any adjustments. The interior of the farmhouse is composed of the cowshed, a further barn for horses and goats, a kitchen where the factor (and his daughter) can stay, eat, warm up with its wood burning stove and sell cheeses produces. Under the roof of the farm is instead a barn that is used as a spare winter to feed the animals. A light with a button hidden in the straw allows you to illuminate the barn below. The barn and the entire roof is removable to view more details of the stables and the kitchen. As you can see from the pictures, to complete the farm I also created a hen house and a fence for the pigs. In all, the farm is composed of: 2 minifigs (the farmer and his daughter), 2 cows, 2 goats, 2 horses, 3 pigs, 8 chickens, 1 cat, 1 rat, 1 spider! Thank you very much at all ! It 'was the first time I have tried to build a house creator and did not expect so much pleasure could see my little effort in achieving it.

I find this tower a beautiful moc from the first time I saw. There are very beautiful detail of the tower and all the interior furnishings. If I can do my own personal note I would have used the dark tan instead of tan and then I would have one more floor!

Thanks to all for the compliments! I had not really thought of a house floating on the water but only to a small pond in the front. The edge of the perimeter is left intentionally blank for reasons of contest rules.

Hello to all! I present to you a small house style Creator who won the second place in the Creator House contest held in Italy at Ballabio 2013. I built this house in just 3 days! A day to plan it and two nights to build it using only the pieces that I had at home. Good vision More picture on Flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/49191153@N08/sets/72157635799511263/

Thank you very much! The village is a figment of my imagination for many things but I was inspired by real places. I'm very glad you like it. As soon as I have some time I'll put other more detailed photos for a better look at buildings and landscape. Yes! The final project involves 40 baseplates, with an average of 10 bases per year inclusive of medium-sized buildings and various scenes.

This diorama represents a full year of work (of my little free time). Here is his short story: at the end of 2011 I presented on EB my Winter Church who has won the fifth place in the contest "Expand the Winter Village II". The church was located on a small winter diorama consists of 4 baseplates 32x32 with the first two sets of Lego official winter. In December of 2012 I presented instead the Winter Town Hall for the "Expand the Winter Village Contest III" that won the second place! These two buildings were needed for my new project: I decided to completely rebuild the first rudimentary village to build a large diorama winter. After several months of work have come to the end of my first goal. The Winter Village you see is composed of 12 baseplates 32x32 but my final project will provide for the use of 40 bases (10x4 = 2,5 x 1 meter). It will probably take at least another 3 years for this goal but in the meantime I'll keep you updated! At present the village is composed of a central square with a stone fountain, statue and Christmas tree decorated, a church, an outdoor bar, the bakery, the town hall, the toy store, the post office (modified), a souvenir shop, a motorized water mill, a stone bridge, the Lego cottage (modified). All surrounded by snow covered trees and various funny skits with characters more or less famous. I hope to post soon new detail images on flickr. Hello everyone! This is my new creation for the Winter Village Expand Contest III: The Winter Town Hall! Given the great success of this year's Town Hall (10224) and to stay on buildings with historical and social (the last year I proposed a Winter Church) I decided to build a Town Hall in a winter theme. The Town Hall was to be a bit larger than the other buildings (compared to the bakery for example) because he has to dominate the village as one of the most important buildings. However as the number of pieces is almost identical to the new set of winter 2012: The Cottage. The entire creation is in fact composed of approximately 1400 pieces. The Winter Town Hall is complete with internal room: office, waiting room, meeting room and store documents, library. The two sides of the building roofs have a button that lights up by pressing a corresponding light. The main door can be opened as well as a skylight on the roof. To complete the Town Hall I have included a tree with a snow-covered ice fountain, a monument with a statue of a fallen hero and a nice little car used to clean the sidewalks (in Italy the name is "Ape 50"). Merry Christmas to all !!! (Update) new photo on Flickr Gallery here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/49191153@N08/sets/72157632342370742/with/8307936275/
