The moc that keeps on giving, I see... Hello! Glad you like him so much! Thank you very much! Thank you so much! Ironically, the head angle was what informed the emotion of the moc. The construction of the moc forces the head to lean forward a bit, but I think it turned out for the best that way. Thanks! Admittedly those parts aren't completely necessary, but I liked the print on them and thought they were thematically appropriate so there they are lol. If I'm being completely honest I'm not even sure what set they're from Don't we all... Oof. That might hurt even more...

Thanks, everyone! I'm glad the moc was so charming! If you'd like to build one, the nice thing is that most of the parts come from the same set, Nepol and Shimmel, so it's not a big investment

A mysterious creature from The Outer Dimension. Can often be found selling wares (that may or may not be stolen, he refuses to answer) in Dreejal Vin... This guy was a fun little experiment with my limited Lego Galidor collection and my first substantial moc in a long time with no CCBS.

Though ever vigilant, the threat of the Mutant Lizards was getting to be too much for Shadow, Digger, Viper, and Specs. Will the new rookie Chunk, with his experimental new Dino-fighting machine, the Magma Tanker, be enough to turn the tides of battle..? Reverse shot Something I've had lying around for a while now inspired by the theme fusion round of last year's Bio-cup. Kind of a mix of Dino Attack, Power Miners, and Bionicle. Special thanks to Chubbybots for the brilliant leg design.

Just one of the many deadly monsters from outer space that stand to threaten to destroy the nearest major metropolitan area.

As a matter of fact, they are. I'm a big fan of those tires. They help create a nice simple shape and texture. Funny you both should mention the helmet. I just posted instructions yesterday on my Instagram. You can see them here.

Perhaps... Thank you!

[CONTEST] Benny's Spaceships Building Academy
Mitch Henry replied to Bob De Quatre's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Silly question: Do we have to have Benny or any other classic spaceman present in our moc? -
As a child, Captain Benjamin "Benny" Thomas always dreamed of soaring through the stars in his very own spaceships... Perhaps his dreams will come true one of these days but until then it's back to routine maintenance for him. More photos

I suppose I should've been more clear, but the all the Rahi linked in the descriptions are by other builders whom I collaborated with. I'm glad you like the Hydruka! If you find the time I'm sure the other builders would love to hear your feedback.

Hydruka are stubborn aquatic Rahi, formerly domesticated by the Matoran of Mahri Nui. Muaka Tarakava Nui Rama Manas Ghekula Frog Gukko Ussal Crab Tahtorak Colony Drone Acid Fly Hahnah Crab Klakk

Perhaps I just find the moc itself more impressive, but I don't mind that it might be more obvious. He's used it to get the shape he needed. Nothing wrong with obvious if it looks good.

[MOC] Gunsect: Alien gunslinger
Mitch Henry replied to PaddyBricksplitter's topic in LEGO Action Figures
The environment he's standing in really helps bring out the character. It's easy to overlook it but it has so many nice details. -
Very well done. For the limited pieces and color palette, you had to work with this is still a very faithful adaptation of the Alien Queen.

Thanks! It's just a plain ol' chaingun. The gun (and ammo tank) were inspired by Vulcan Raven from Metal Gear Solid. The ammo tank was something I wanted to use on a previous moc, but couldn't quite figure out then. you wouldn't believe the sheer amount of egg puns I've read today. These two are some of the best though. Glad you like the moc!

Thanks! I've actually had this built since last year, but the new creator set looks wonderful truth be told I don't think I could identify half these parts either, but I they somehow ended up in my collection all the same. Glad you like it! Thank you! Personality and charm is always the goal. Happy to hear about the part use, but if I'm being honest I think Disty's Jaw-Tong Slammer used it better.

There's so much personality and charm in this guy. As you said, it's a nice change of pace to see some goofier characters rather than your typical edgy warriors. A well-deserved win in my opinion!

A true engineering marvel, this hardsuit can withstand even the most extremely pressurized environments.

A basic recon mech unit designed to be piloted by your basic mook. They may be mass produced and cheap, but they get the job done. More photos

A ruthless cyborg armed with the latest high-tech weaponry. A firm believer in the best defense is a good offense. More photos Definitely something I haven't tried before. Carbonfibre Commando stands at just about one foot tall. Gonna try to build more big stuff in the future.
