  1. I love the hot-rod-modded Delta-7 vibe. I was already committed to getting this one just for Jedi Bob, but the build is genuinely gorgeous and innovative and I like it a lot!
  2. Am I crazy, or would that Nighttrooper helmet be a great starting point for a custom of Sentinel from SW: Hunters?
  3. Finally pulled the trigger on the Fang Fighter and Tie Interceptor. The latter in particular is a great addition to my fleet, I’ve been waiting for years to find something to complement Major Vonreg’s TIE, one of my first SW ships. I was worried they were too different, but they actually match quite well and I think it’s believable that they were originally the same type of ship and Vonreg modified his quite heavily. I might still modify one of them to match the wing angles of the other . . but not sure which . . hrm.
  4. I love these! The gunship is especially impressive and I’m now wondering if I can justify buying R2 after all just to build one of these for my fleet instead. More please? Maybe an ARC-170?
  5. Okay, no takers. I’m surprised, with how many spaceships LEGO pumps out I’d have thought fleet battle displays would be all the range. What, are y’all just lining your spaceships up on shelves? Anyway, thought I’d share what I’ve done so far! As I mentioned in my first post, this isn’t all necessarily Star Wars. It’s a clash between the forces of Babylon Sector Patrol, the navy of my LEGO city, and the Last Order, my homebrew imperial remnant that I created back when I played Factions. Way back in 2019, the TLM2 Systar Spaceship was going for 60% off so I bought like five to form the basis of my fleet, and I’m finally putting them to good use. Other noteworthy inclusions are the Ninjago Hydro Bounty and ShuriCopter repurposed into a battlecruiser and heavy cruiser respectively, and Mei’s Dragon Horse Jet and the Lightyear XL-15 as escort-class ships. And don’t forget my repainted Gauntlet-class Mandalorian Starfighter, flying BSP colours! On the opposing side, the TIE fighters are immediately recognisable, as is my modified Gideon’s Light Cruiser (with an upgraded bridge that seats three minifigures!) and the Eclipse Fighter, which I managed to snag preowned a couple of years back. I’m looking forward to getting and adding more ships to this display, the currently available TIE Interceptor and Bomber are next on the list so that the Last Order will have a bit more of a fighting chance. Maybe Maul’s Infiltrator too? Also, yes, this is a Jedi riding a dragon and fighting a Sith with a robot dragon. I love LEGO. (Jedi girl here is also Club President of the Dragon Spotters!)
  6. Why are we getting buildable figures instead of a train. Why. Optimistic for the Emerald City though!
  7. A new picture’s appeared of the extras in the Droid Factory set . . it’s Go Brick Me all over again, with glasses, funny hats, a duck floatie, etcetera. I . . hope that a lot of eight year olds have lots of fun with this set. That’s the nicest thing I can think to say. Also how dare they not include a QT-KT minifigure-scale droid anywhere if they’re doing this. (I love that L3-GO exists but I honestly would have preferred QT-KT.) Maybe she’ll be somewhere in the 2025 January wave?
  8. I suspect that any and all of the characters who are NPCs in the LEGO Fortnite mode will be at the top of the list. Cuddle Team Leader and Brite Bomber, the two starting NPCs, are already confirmed. The full list is here; https://fortnite.fandom.com/wiki/LEGO_Fortnite:Characters Personally I’m hoping for Skye or Jules most. Lynx, Sparkplug and Crystal are probably highly likely because they’re the only ones who wouldn’t require a new head/hat/helmet mould. (Lynx in particular; you can’t do Meowscles without Lynx, they were literally married.) Also wouldn’t surprise me if they immediately reuse Adventure Peely for regular Peely or Polar Peely.
  9. Okay, huh. I really hope the Loot Llama has minifigures and some kind of interior space or something because only two sets with minifigures would be almost as baffling as LEGO’s weird recent obsession with buildable characters. Like . . who even asked for buildable megafig Peely Bone? Definitely getting the Battle Bus and . . dare I hope that’s some kind of Fortnite battle pack?
  10. Hey all! I’ve decided I’m sick of having all my spaceships (SW and otherwise - the ‘otherwise’ includes some MODs of Ninjago sets, Marvel’s GotG stuff, the XL-15 from Lightyear and even a few TLM2 ships, mostly arranged into factions based on colour scheme) on tables and shelves and landing pads. I’ve got a big empty wall in my LEGO room so I’m working on hanging at least some of them up and making a big, vertical fleet battle scene. Has anyone else done something similar or can point me to people who have? I’m looking for inspiration and design notes for how to arrange everything so that it really looks dynamic. Please advise! EDIT: Have updated the title of this thread since I haven’t gotten any suggestions but want to keep sharing my progress.
  11. Honestly, I would really love for the next big Titan Mech to be for Arin. Nya’s Samurai X Mech is functionally a Titan in every way except colour scheme, and Kai’s Climber Mech is recent enough that I really can’t get excited about another big Kai mech. But imagine something in that mix of yellowish orange and white, with dark blue or dark green highlights. It could be so gorgeous. Especially since Arin’s whole thing is ‘Object Spinjitzu’; imagine if his big hero moment in Season 3 is making a mech do Spinjitzu. Oh, completely same. I can’t believe it’s still going and still awesome. ^^
  12. That set looks like a great parts pack to get on clearance, and I can probably find something fun to do with a giant rainbow pillar or use those clouds to decorate my buildings. And that many fleshie minifig heads in different colours will be great for my city. . . Pharrell Williams? Meh. If they’d made literally a playset of Atlantis Apartments, something I could put in my city like the BTS Dynamite set, I’d be hyped for that, but . . who thought this was a good idea?
  13. No? We got set numbers (and a couple of names) for a line of five Fortnite sets coming towards the end of this year, in October-ish IIRC? I gotta say I really didn’t expect a game like this, but it looks fun so I’m hardly opposed. And if it means we get more giant Kaiju machine sets, I’m 100% up for it. The Tallneck was amazing and I need a Thunderjaw or Tremortusk or something along those lines.
  14. . . Y’now, I just had a crazy thought. What if the Venomverse is Earth-42, the world without a Spider-Man, and they’ll tie it to Spider-Verse? . . Nah, that’d be way too big brain for Sony.
  15. I mean, we have this part; https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=33863&idColor=95#T=C&C=95 It already looks pretty much perfect, assuming they’re willing to bring the mould back after five/six years.
  16. Just saw a discussion on BrickFanatics Instagram about the design notes of the Space CMF figures. The robot butler stood out to me; “We could have given him an evil agenda, but no, his agenda is just to whip cream the best way possible,” So now I’m picturing a scene in which someone’s defending a spaceship from pirates and; “Cream-O-Tron! Whip his cream!” “I WILL NOW WHIP YOUR CREAM,” “AAAAAAAAAAARGH!”
  17. I love that one of them is clean-shaven and the other has stubble. I am now torn between; either using the Jungle Explorer as ‘in the city’ and the new one as ‘roughing it in the field’ . . ooooooor the dramatic reveal that the Johnny Thunder of minor celebrity in my city has been an impostor and the real Jonny appears to call him out!
  18. The fact that the new season showed almost none of the builds from the new Wave 3 sets really makes me think the show and the sets were developed concurrently and separately with only minor input from each other. Add that to the fact that a couple of the episodes were mostly filler, which makes me more suspicious. It’s also weird and random that they changed Mateo’s look but not any of the other characters’? Anyway, full thoughts on the season below.
  19. Do we know what the threshold will be for AUD?
  20. Considering the ‘Space subtheme’ they’ve done across multiple themes this year, I could absolutely see them doing something similar with Castle. The Ninjago ‘villain hideout of the year’ could double as a medieval castle (and honestly almost any Ninjago brick-built dragon would need very little tweaking to fit a Castle setting), we could get a souped-up trebuchet or siege tower or something in DREAMZzz, a forest ranger watchtower in Friends, a medieval museum in City? If they really wanted to put in effort, we could see something akin to the airlock system where there are ‘castle components’ across multiple themes that can all be combined into a cross-theme hodgepodge fortress. There are plenty of possibilities. But we all know LEGO loves their formulas, so we can’t be too optimistic about them doing something so interesting. . . damnit, why did I have to picture the cross-theme combination fortress, now I really want something like that . .
  21. Pretty much yeah. That and it has been a while since we had these collectibles, so I was kind of thinking we were done with them permanently. But yeah, it’s just strange that, since you have to buy the Pagoda to get the yellow one anyway, and that comes with all five of them, what’s the point in putting the other four in different sets? Oh, another thing I noticed; the heroes seem to be wearing sports jerseys or something now? I thought it was some kind of monk uniform at first glance, but no, they’re all different - and, annoyingly, MK has #1, Mei has #2, Tang has $4, Pigsy has $5 and Sandy has #6. These are all in the Pagoda and are fine. But Monkey King has #3 and is only in the Nine-Headed Beast. . . I wouldn’t even mind if these sets were distributed normally like every other theme, but they’re only available from Shop@Home in Australia and therefore never get discounts so I end up trying to make the most out of as few sets as possible and it strains my budget. -,-
  22. Looking at some of the extra pictures, the five ‘collectible rocks’ of this wave . . purple comes in the Fire Ring Mech, blue and red in the Nine-Headed Beast, and green in the Truck, but all five are in the Pagoda, including the exclusive yellow one. So given you have to buy the Pagoda to get the yellow one, what’s even the point of having them in the other sets? It seems silly. It’s been a while since LEGO did a collectible gimmick like this - the only one in recent memory was those weird crystals in the last wave of Hidden Side, and that seemed really half-hearted. Besides that, I don’t think we’ve had a collectibles gimmick since the Dragon Armour in the Hunted wave of Ninjago. (I mean, I guess there was also the ‘dragon amulets’ in The Island and Seabound, but those came in literally every set, and maybe the Dragon Energy Cores? They kind of weren’t really a thing, at least not how the show presented it.
  23. I only just now found out about the No Limits Crew through reading this thread. But wow, now I want all of them. I was already going to get the Harbour and at least considering Robot World and the Bus, but is Mech Max not in any of the sets this year? I’ve only seen her in the Custom Car Garage, and that one’s already all but vanished from Australian shelves (read; prices have gone up too high for me to stomach and probably won’t go back down). It’s annoying, there’s a wheelchair girl in the Tram, that could have been Max?
  24. I just noticed something really interesting in the Dragon Maleficent set; there’s a stand with armour for Prince John inside the castle, with what looks like a new golden shoulder armour piece designed to fit minidolls? Does that exist elsewhere? It seems like such a random thing to just toss in like that but I’m totally up for it.
  25. So, do we know when the Diner GWP is going to be available?
