A friend of mine always carries two cameras with him(read on vacation). Because he says, if I see something really beautifull film captures it the best. So I understand why you won't give that up! Good to hear. My problem is that I have to many ideas for free-builds but none for the challenge yet. Your welcome, hopefully more will follow -
I like it, the arches make it look like a stronghold for a wealthy man. One suggestion thought, put in minifigs. That way your castle will com more to life! Keep up the good work.

I was going for the tense feeling, so good thing it worked out like that! I was also pretty pleased with the knights, sometimes it's fun to also build evil style! Yes, they came from belville sets.

Glad you guys like it! There are lots of examples of rockwork that is going straight up and down. But I can see your point that at the ground it should have gone up more mixed with the dark tan, so you don't have the sudden color difference. She sure is, you'll see/hear more of her! The main challenges will not the stories

Looking really great, love large projects like this. And mostly if you ran out of some bricks you often get more creative! Same here! -

Time for titles: Garmadon and Infernum can call themselves Royal Architects from now on! The hanging gardens was an unique idea, as was the garden deep inside the mountains. Gunman and Soccerkid are truly Trade/Economic Titans! The wine is indeed famous and Mitgardians need fur for sure. Kabel deserves the title: Doctus. To twist the garden challenge into a medicinal herb garden is just briljant! A samsung ES20! @ SK, that is looking really good. Good thing your on schedule, that way you can build some more freebuilds to bring home the gold -

Garden and export titles are personal, the other will be rewarded to everyone who builds for it. €500,-... Mine was just €80,- new, just a simple camera will do the job for me! @ Infernum, that is looking great. The combo with the dark red works out fine. And the arch is indeed a great touch. Also nice work on the dirt! Keep it up! Did you guys hear about the rumours... Revolword and his men are getting scared now a random villager can be a brutal killer: -
Now the citizens know they can make a difference and that they are able to fight back! The Resistance is hitting Revolword's forces hard. Even some of his generals are taken down. Unfortunately they failed killing his brother today by destroying the bridge. But there will be a next time...
-
Revolword and his army are winning from our forces at the moment, but he his forgetting the power of the villagers. Disan and Elon's daughter have started a campaign to make the people fight. To defend their homes and to deal with the invaders. Guerilla tactics are the hardest to cope with...

Love the micro and the fp worked out great, although it could be a bit better by replacing the 5x6 leaves by smaller foilage!
-
We shipped them all to Mitgardia
-
As said by all the others, great work on the base and the idea is very well executed!

Never Customs; no way and no painting. And absolutely no brasso, poor bardings These are official unpainted black bardings. I had the change to buy 20 of them at Legoworld for €18! -
Great stuff! Loving the rockwork, it looks very organic and the shad design is also excellent. Altough it would be more realistic; The water isn't really bothering me, because in the Netherlands we are used to live next to water that is on higher ground than dry land

Thanks guys! I think that's because it isn't hanging straight. I had it build up for two events. So the third time building it up just for photos, I was tired of looking for details.

Splendid stone and woodwork. Certainly a heavy contender!

Thanks for the comments guys! About the studs, I tried it but it looked out of place, indeed because the statue is showing a lot studs itself.

Mitgardians! Be aware of so called Night Seekers. These blood seeking knights of Revolword leave no men or women alive! Not to speak of children... (Sneak peak for a free-build I am working on) No problem! -

Ecc. is back! No broken legs, just sore knees. Sir Edwyn, most welcome. Seeing your builds, you're on the right spot in Mitgardia! Torgar, congrats! About the challenge, not sure about making the deadline. Too busy at work but I will be entering! -
Now Lena will be more in Avalonia than in Mitgardia. She will not see her family that often. That's why Elon asked de Gothia permission to build a summer palace in Benoic. This way her family can be closeby when they want to. Because family is the most important thing for a Chorian. And ofcourse it's a great way to strengthen the bond between Elon's men and de Gothia's men. It was also part of a layout for our Lug last weekend. I think its also the first time that Guilds of Historica meets Lands of Classic Castle. Because the other fortress is from LCC builder Elderon(and the middle is from JeroenD) Don't worry that I'm building for LCC now

I will try Augustiner at the Eurbricks Event! Great to see so much activity guys. Let's keep it up this way. About my wip. No one guessed right so you all have to wait for the result I'll be away for a week. I'll be in Austria skiing. As for the garden challenge, I will get back to that when I return. For now there are two things you could build if you're out of ideas: Title challenges:(Yes it's the same idea as the Avalonians, but I love to steel ideas when it can lead to victory ) If you complete the next challenges you'll be rewarded with a title that comes with it. Knight of Valholl Wounded contestants, beautifull ladies, beer and much more. Organize a joust and show us something to cheer for!(minimum 32x32) Mason Teacher Trhoughout Mitgardia there are a lot of statues. Each with its own story. Show us your statue with its story!(minimum 12x12) http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=79643 -
Gnoves. All children know that when they go to sleep, scary monsters appear under their beds and in their closets. They'll bring nightmares and are making falling a sleep difficult. But children also know of the existence of "Gnoves". These brave creatures aren't much bigger than a man's hand. But do not underestimate them, because they are very fast and above all they excel in outsmarting monsters. So as long there are Gnoves to fight monsters, children will dream about their adventures without being bothered by monsters.

Looks like someone is practicing on his interior challenge. Looking good, I really like the use of the cheese slopes in the window!
