Avalonia Guild: Homepage, Sign-up and Discussion
Ecclesiastes replied to Derfel Cadarn's topic in Guilds of Historica
I was wondering, did you turn into a moc-monster or something! -
Great story and excellent posing of the figs, that took some time I guess
-
Nicely done Kai! I really like all the minifig action that is going on! (although the hat of the guy fishing feels a bit misplaced to me) And compared to your others builds, your getting better and better.
-
Altough it should be a bit higher, nice job on the wall texture breaking it up with slopes and cones

I think everyone could use extension, but you've got to draw the line somewhere. And it's not about size! That was indeed quite entertaining as was the match on Tuesday! -
Do keep in mind that now you have deleted the photo's they can't be judged for free-build points! So if you don't want to get pro it's indeed better to look for an other hosting site(brickshelf) so you don't get topics without photo's.

Wouldn't a "Like" button improve the forum
Ecclesiastes replied to Vindicare's topic in Forum Information and Help
Agreed. I't will be very disappointing and discouraging for builders who will not get a lot of likes. And I think a big part of this forum is encouraging people to build (and help to improve). -

Challenge VI- Not really an unexpected journey
Ecclesiastes replied to Maxim I's topic in Guilds of Historica
Great stuff! Exellent base and I really like those massive chairs, they fit well in the room. Also nice tutorial of putting shields in the wall!- 45 replies

Quite the improvement here! The stonework is looking good, but I like the woodwork at the top even more! Keep it up! That's because they need Mitgardian Carpenters and those are at war now

That sand is indeed well done! And I'm still a big fan of those large golden (solar/mirror?) banners, they look great and do fit the army well!
-
Excelllent moc! The snow is outstanding especially the piece in the water. And great touch adding the "Tudor" style woodwork/windows into the tower.
-
I would almost say:"Bye, Bye Castle!" They all look stunning!

"Emerging out of my dark age, one brick at a time." That's sure paying off! Stunning texture and tower design filled with details such as the crack and the part where the rope ladder comes down.
-
Really nice work, especially because it's brick build. It can be hard making sails looking good like that but you managed to do it!
