  1. Don't know much about the game but I looked at pictures of the game after hearing this news, I hope we see some buildings or structures in general across various styles. From sounds of the press release it sounds a lot like play sets over brickheads but as mentioned there could be brickheads to go along side the theme
  2. So is MODOK going to be in Captain Marvel? if so that would be amazing to see him in the MCU, and given the state of Red Skull being alive i'd love to see them form a cabal and have that be an Avengers movie situation, ah a guy can dream.
  3. Don't think this has been mentioned yet, but we are suppose to be getting a set for SOLO of that sweet train as spoke of in one of M&R's recent video on upcoming sets. If true could this be the year of trains? Maybe Lego is getting the hint that trains should be done in themes outside of creator expert and city, i'd love for a full on train theme some day or even a creator 3in1 train
  4. Well 3 trains this year, wonder if the Harry Potter station is why we aren't getting a city one?
  5. Most the dislike towards automobiles in modular sets is they take away from the piece count and don't have much reason, correct? If so a future modular was a car dealership or gas station with service station attached they would need cars so they wouldn't be as much out of place as the other two, and maybe be even better designed given the set would kinda revolve around cars. I can see the modular sets lean towards fun for now, lots of ideas that fit the time period and style of the Downtown Diner are more "fun" then serious like previous modular's
  6. 100% agree that something automobile related would be great, the DD was originally a car showroom in the first drafts of it so if they went that route I doubt it would be anytime soon given they already spoke of it. A gas station with a service center would be great, i'm a big fan of gas stations and service stations from that era as are lots of people so the appeal for such a modular could be quite vast even if someone isn't into Lego as we are but is an automobile collector it could appeal to them possibly as well. Other then that an arcade, bowling alley, or an ice cream shop would be pretty cool in that style
  7. Growing up in the 2000's I use to watch The Flintstones so the appeal is there for both AFOL's and TFOL's/young AFOL's. If the project gets approved I would love to see them take the creative liberties and add The Great Gazoo and possibly a saber tooth tiger (given they now have the mold for one) Not sure about the rest of you but if it got approved I would rather see it be $100 or even a little more and include as much as possible since it will most likely be a one set license then it be cheaper and not include all that it could. Love how the designed included Dino as well.
  8. I have to disagree, I hope they continue with the time period the diner is set in, and keep with that style. I for one am a big fan of buildings from that time period, they did "familiar style" for a good amount of time and now its time for change then new change once this style runs its course cycle. Also I don't see how it's colors make it be compared to friends? (nothing wrong with friends great theme that fills voids city/creator doesn't provide) but just because there is pink and turquoise doesn't directly make it in the same lane as friends. If any of you are fans of Jackhammer on youtube he did an ice cream shop modular with a lot of pink yet it doesn't give friend's vibes either in my opinion.
  9. They should almost have a separate part of Lego Ideas for CMF's where you have to get 10k votes but they only pick one per year but not have it count as their 3 series per year.
  10. Wasn't the caveman rumored to be in the same arctic set as the Orca? If so I wonder if the one in the capital set is meant to be the same one on display. Hope we do get the Orca set, was there rumored of what else the set was?
  11. What if the missing Arctic exclusive set was meant to be a TRU exclusive? How is TRU exclusives not released yet being handled? Hope the set with the orca get released and who's to say the caveman reported to be in that set isn't still in it but frozen in ice and the one in the capital set is the same caveman but unfrozen and on display? We know Lego likes doing things like that in city set (fun at the park baby being a kid in the recent camper set)
  12. In love with that Double-Decker bus, glad we are getting a minifig scale one! This set has a more wow factor for me then the last one, the hotel looks great for the size, ice cream trike is a great addition, even a fan of the museum even though its so small I feel it can be added on pretty easily. skate park and orange smart car look great as well!
  13. The castle will probably be in the next wave, I would think the theme would get more then a wave. And as @dimaks13 said the CMF series is marked as series 1 so if they didn't plan on continuing the theme then why mark it as a numbered series? I personally would love to see a large set with the castle and maybe a unique version of each of the main characters.
  14. I follow him on instagram so iv'e seen the ones hes reveled so far, such wonderful work he does!
  15. You're welcome, can't wait to see your future work!!
  16. @Ashnflash Is super talented to start with but these Marvel series hes been drawing up are just stunning! From this series in particular the Igor armor looks great makes me wish Lego would just go ahead and make one already, I wonder if Lego is able to produce blind bags for the Marvel Super Heroes theme without it interfering with other company's? So many characters that played important roles in movies still without a physical figure, along with just other characters as well. Speaking of @Ashnflash 's work his Howard the Duck and Cosmo the Space Dog he did were amazing as well!!! A comic based Marvel CMF would be a neat CMF draft, would love to see a Gwenpool drawn by you!
  17. Thanks, I noticed that as well! Given how they design things so far in advance they could have series 2 planned out already. Also you happen to be dimaks_lego on instagram? If so was just looking at your page lol
  18. Any word on the price for the figure series? Hoping its not $3.99 like CMF's but at least even though they are for once true blind bags, there isn't 16-20 likes CMF's a dozen per series for something like this is much more practical. Really wish they were like the Mixals were you knew what you were getting or for them to have a code for specific ones, if these have bump codes for each version that maybe be the one way to possibly get the ones you want but then again those aren't always 100%
  19. Personally I'm just glad we are getting a set based on the movie, in regards to The Wasp's helmet disappointing that its not a new mold, if they can do so many brand new molds for a CMF series a new helmet that would get use in future sets shouldn't of been to hard to do given that The Wasp will have a good role in Avengers 4 it seems from how they are talking about missing characters in IW. Who knows maybe they will surprise us when pictures release of the set?
  20. Why not have a Batcave bucket and then just a DC bucket for everything else, a batcave one would sell pretty well I would think seeing as how people love doing batcave setups. they can include the new molds from the summer sets and the recent power blast packs in them as well, and lots of batsuits we haven't gotten yet
  21. Haha great minds think alike! Batcave Bucket filled with bat suits, weapons, cave like elements, vehicle parts oh my the list could go on
  22. Seeing the brick bucket expand into something other then classic is nice, never got one before but between the Unikitty and Building Bigger Thinking ones I want to try and get one. A city brick bucket would be neat it could have elements useful for building citys
  23. Meh I don't consider it answering my own question, it could of been just a weird situation given that if they were fully released in America I would think Walmart or something would be first to have it rather then a food chain. Didn't pay much attention to the issue number it had the recent Lloyd in his black training outfit Agreed, don't see why the US didn't just get them from the start as well. Wonder how many other people have found them turn up in the US recently. I just hope we get the Nexo Knights ones for 2018 given how no one seems to post the comics in full for us Americans who don't have them here
  24. I second that, but then again I think @Digger of Bricks and I are bias to the whole SteamPunk/ NouveauPunk/ DieselPunk idea in Lego lol
  25. In my opinion no, if you look closely at Bucky's new arm it has a golden color to it, the Lego version looks pretty close
