  1. I actually just left Wal Mart and they had Jungle Cutter. I wanted to buy it but I knew that it would probably just tell me it was recalled, that and I don't have the money for it right now. I get paid Friday which means I should be able to get it late Thursday night. Get excited!
  2. Just got my latest order: 1 Mauser Broomhandle, 2 M1911, 1 Panzergrenadier, and 5 M1 Garands. The Garands are . They really made my paratroopers look great. Plus with the monopod they can hold the rifle in a firing position or it looks like an M14... highly recommended item. Now my small little MOCs can be completed. All I need now is my camera.
  3. This was among my personal favorite sets in the castle theme when I was kid. I always liked the medium sized models like this one. Good review. I may have to look up the instructions to this one rebuild it.
  4. I could see myself getting a few copies of the second one and one of the third. Those two are pure win. Not sure what I'll do with the extra Indys though...
  5. As far as Wild West (WW) figs go in this case I'd say your bes bets are eBay and Brcklink. That is going to be where you find the biggest selections. Bricklink will the the most constant price and tends to be fair for the demand since the supply is always shrinking.
  6. Awesome. I love the Garand am am planning on order a handful of them along with some other WWII stuff. Looks great. Can't wait to hear when they are released. thanks Badger!
  7. That is quite neat. Though I would have called him General Grave-ous... haha. Cool idea though. I'd like to see more like this.
  8. Wow. I think this is a great contest. My favorite so far is KhoRne's homeless guy/bum/hobo. It's such an original idea with some innovative concepts. I especially like the inclusion of the bottle and the trashcan, as well as the sack on the stick. It's a great idea.
  9. I actually remember the windows with closing shutters from when I was a kid. It's been a long time since they been in any themes I think. Good to see that they are back. And I would love to have that roof pack. That is the exact kind of thing I need. The window pack would be nice too. As I am more of a historical builder the wheel pack wouldn't be much use to me.
  10. Looks like a promising website. Is there going to be content other than the animation? Maybe some screencaps of the upcoming game? MOCs? There is a lot of potential. Keep us updated! As for the first comment above... that is pretty weak. Raising your post count with that kind of comment is generally frowned upon on forums around the world. Please keep your comments relevant to the topic.
  11. This is old, old news. Search the forums before you post something like this. There are many pages that have lots of pictures of the game.
  12. I am also a huge fan of Sergio Leone's "Man With no Name" trilogy. I like the use of the fedora over TLC's goofy cowboy hat. That was good. I will go along the lines of Yoda here and say that he needs a poncho. Wouldn't be too hard to find a scrap of brown cloth and cut a hole in it to put over the torso. that would make it so much cooler.
  13. Wow. That B25 Mitchell appears to be minifig scale. I would LOVE to get my hands on that. It's just WOW!
  14. Hey everyone. I am building a minifig scale sloop and I have everything thought out except how to make good looking swivel guns for the deck. I figured someone here could give me some pointers. I really do appreciate the help. When it is finished I will get some pics up.
  15. I have been working on building up some WWII minifigs for some MOCing and I was wondering if anyone has any ideas for good torsos that TLC makes. I am hoping to avoid customs and decals if possible. So far the best one I have found is the Naboo fighter pilot. I already have plenty of Afrika Corp. Germans and am looking for different torsos. Any body have any other suggestions for good WWII torsos? Thanks!
  16. Thanks, Benk! That's what I was hoping. I'll be keeping an eye out for it!
  17. I have already ordered stuff from that site. And in one of my earlier posts I mention that they are currently pre-molding and designing a garand. I still hope to see it come out soon.
  18. I tend to work a lot and take classes at college. But when I am free my friends and I play video games and drink. Not the healthiest of pastimes, but I do enjoy it for now.
  19. I have tons of those. I am wanting something more WWII-ish. After reading the brickarms forums they have said they are working on a garand mold.
  20. I was wondering if anyone knows of any customizers working on World War 2 guns, specifically rifles. I would like to get my hands on a few M1 Garand style rifles along with maybe a Mauser rifle or two. If anyone knows of anyone who produces them or plans on producing them I would really appreciate it. My poor Soldiers only have automatic weapons (from brickarms, great stuff, btw) an they need some rifles for longer range. I have found that bickarms is working on some. I found a few pictures on flickr that show a mold and a minifig with a garand in hand (http://www.flickr.com/photos/dunechaser/se...57594528374504/). This looks great. If anyone can confirm or deny it I would be appreciative. Looks great, hopefully they are producing them soon! Thanks to all!
  21. Now, if only we could pics of what all is inside the Castle 2008 advent calendar...
  22. Wow. I remember this set from when I was a kid. I got it for my birthday and opened the package first. Sadly, I had to go to school so I had to leave it at home and not build it or play with it until I got home. Needless to say that was one of the longest days of school ever. Good review, great set.
  23. I got reported to BL once because I refused to pay for an item. I refused to pay because it took three months for the seller to contact me with a total. I ordered an identical item from another seller and had it within a week. I went through the proper channels at BL and got everything resolved.
  24. Best movie I have ever seen was Last of the Mohicans (1992). The action is great, the story is awesome and the fact that is historical is icing on the cake. Worst movie I have ever seen was Ghost Rider (2007). Nicholas Cage hasn't really been any decent movies that I have seen (I say that I have seen because there are a lot of his films I have not seen). The visual effects were too over the top and the story was pitiful, as was the acting.
  25. I never really got into Exo Force but I did get at least one set from each year. 2006: Uplink and Sentry. Those two were my favorites and I would love to get my hands about three more of each. 2007: Cyclone Defender. and for 2008: I plan on buying the Hybrid Rescue tank. In my opinion though the Uplink and Sentry were about the best they did. Sure they were small, but they had the best over all look, though not armored at all.
