  1. I think this wins the award for "most innovative use of a spade". Very nice! Dr. S.
  2. I forgot to say, in case it's not clear, whichever way the vote goes, I'll make a Vig' of that outcome. Dr. S.
  3. Sir Taindeath was weary after the day's battle - no matter how many evil skeletons he killed, there always seemed to be more. As the sun began to set he wondered if he would live to see the next day... And now for the interactive part - YOU get to decide what happens next! Does Sir Taindeath get pummelled by the Skeletons or does the fightback against evil begin with this Vig' and will the dawn see him succeed? VOTE NOW! (yeah, I know there's no poll, you'll have to write) :-D Dr. S.
  4. Very nice! I love the split-level aspect to it. The only thing that might improve it would be if the water could be made of trans-blue plates but on the basis that I'm not sure you can even get such a thing, it's perfect. Dr. S.
  5. Ooh, that'll cost you. :-D Dr. S.
  6. I bet the Skellies got a bit of a shock when the King pulled that out from...wherever he had it hidden. :-D I wasn't going to buy and Troll sets as I wasn't overly inspired, but I must have that Dragon...argh! LEGO have done it to me again!! :-D :-D Dr. S.
  7. Hang on...the Knight is riding a dragon. Does this mean that in the timeline, the Knights defeat the evil Wizard, his skellies and the Dragons or...that they had their own Dragon all the time? Dr. S.
  8. Happy Thingy! Dr. S.
  9. One reply incoming! Dr. S.
  10. Here's a German soldier I bought from Brickarms. I've been wondering how to display him... Dr. S.
  11. Wow! What a great idea! I think I'll have to try this! Dr. S.
  12. No, because I have the power to destroy the planet. *sweet* Dr. S.
  13. I didn't want to use that face again as I wanted to avoid repeating my first Vig'. This guy is either accepting his fate or he has something up his sleeve... Dr. S.
  14. Actually, I had the tooth fairy in mind next. :-D Dr. S.
  15. He's about to commence the torture...he has a knife in one hand. Dr. S.
  16. So, here's the story, chest infection still not clear, but I had an important meeting at work today so I went in, coughed up my guts, was sick in my bin and was told by my boss to go home. I didn't want to go home, I felt guilty enough as it was, being off ill last week, but after the tenth time of being told, I went home. Now everyone at work hates me. Still can't sleep with the cough, Doctor wants to see me later in the week as it's clear the pills I'm on haven't worked but have to do something so I've made a new Vig'. I call it simply "Torture Chamber". Knocked unconscious during the attack on his patrol, the warrior awakes to find himself chained upside down in the deepest darkest part of the evil Wizard's castle. A fire spits and sizzles only inches from his face, and from the corner gloom, a Skeleton emerges, hissing and cackling; "Soon you will tell us everything...". Click the thumbnails for larger images. With this one, I created a lightbox underneath the vig - transparent bricks through which light would shine, the light turning 90 degrees through the lightbox to illuminate the fire which was sat on top of more trans' bricks. I lost more light than I was expecting but it worked. Dr. S.
  17. You know...this is a very confrontational forum, lots of contests, challenges and in-fighting. I'm not complaining...it's fun! Dr. S.
  18. OK, I'm cool with that. Dr. S.
  19. Yeah, I went there earlier following your other post, impressive stuff. I hadn't heard of him before. Dr. S.
  20. Thank you Darth! *sweet* Dr. S.
  21. Hee hee, great review - love the special effects! I had a huge box too when I ordered my LEGO Daleks - I loved it though, because it was MY design and the picture on the front was MY picture and...etc. You get the picture. I kept it safe - but it was mad that it was so large. Dr. S.
  22. This is slightly off-topic from the intent of your post Hinckley, but I like how you put the logo of your website on every picture you post - very professional. Dr. S.
  23. Hmmmm, I think you may be overestimating my skills, but maybe one day I'll give it a go. Why didn't he finish his second story? Dr. S.
  24. Thanks copmike! Dr. S.
  25. Super-cool! Any text on the boxes of these ones? The Stormie's left arm seems really long and slightly odd, but that's just because I'm jealous you've got one. :-D Shorter than I was expecting though. Dr. S.
