  1. Hmmmm... Bored shop assistant? Gang member? Traffic Warden? Sorry...in a bit of a funny mood. How about (genuinely) a mother and her baby in a pram? We need LEGO babies for our towns. Or a pushchair. Dr. S.
  2. Yes, this was my only goal. They weren't really worth reviewing that much... Dr. S.
  3. It's too pricey and the playability only really kicks in with other sets - there's already a speed gun with the recent Police car release so this seems a little redundant, but it goes well (of course) with the very large Tabletown PD. Maybe worth it if you want dogs. Dr. S.
  4. Another short review for a tiny set. I think all the other impulse sets have been covered off now except this one. The box: Contents: Parts: Instructions: Final set: Definitely the worst set in terms of parts and figures - that large angled piece and those light green boney things are next to useless for most regular MOCs and you get a jelly alien - wow. *wacko* Still, it is kind of swooshable. Dr. S.
  5. 5612 review here. 5617 review here. Dr. S.
  6. As I mentioned elsewhere, I couldn't see a review for this and though it's only small, let's strive for completion! Here's the box: The contents: The parts: Leftover bits: And the set: Not much to it I know, and not much of a review, but there you go...quite a lot of stuff with the copper though. Dr. S.
  7. Here's my latest dabbling, it's a combination of sets 7094, 7029 and 7037 into one structure. I also added a moat and my entire Crown army (apart from the guy riding the dragon - he was off scouting) is inside. My Army is made up as follows: 1 x King 2 x Kings's Daughters 1 x Wizard 2 x Priests 2 x Archers 6 x Crossbowmen 1 x Class I Knight on Dragonback (I've decided that Class I Knights are the dudes with the movable faceplates on their helmets) 1 x Class I Knight on War Horse (golden head covering) 1 x Class I Knight on War Horse (blue head covering) 1 x Class II Knight on War Horse (blue head covering) (In my world, Class II Knights are the guys with the grille-type faceplates and patterned armour) 3 x Class II Knights on Horseback (blue head covering) 1 x Class I Knight on foot 1 x Class II Knight on foot 2 x Class III Knights on foot (Class III Knights don't have patterned armour, they are new to the Knighthood) 14 x Swordsmen with shields (one has a handcart) 1 x Swordsman with Chain 5 x Spearmen 4 x Axemen 2 x Halberdmen 3 x Glaivemen (includes one with standard) 3 x Mercenary/Refugee Troopers (these are older Castle guys from other sets, they've allied themselves with the Crown forces). 57 minifigs in all! Can you spot them all? Dr. S.
  8. Done: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?...c=16319&hl= If anybody would like to let me know if the other 2 need reviews, I'll do them tomorrow. Dr. S.
  9. As I said elsewhere I couldn't see this reviewed anywhere so here you are! To start with, a couple of box shots: The contents and the parts laid out: The instructions: This is what was left over from the build: And here's the kit complete. Build time, about ten seconds if you pick your nose whilst you are doing it. :-D I love the little robot, it reminds me of that weird machine in the first Wallace and Gromit adventure, in fact, give it some skis and you are away. Oh, and it has a metal detector thingy which I might have to borrow for a future episode of Grunts (I'm not sure if I have any already...who knows...) Cost - £2.49. Value for money? Erm, no, knock a quid off and I'd say yes. Dr. S.
  10. It shall be done...gimme a few minutes, it won't take long. :-D Dr. S.
  11. I did some searching and I can't see that these have been reviewed. Only, I have them here (bought all the new impulse sets at LLW yesterday). So if reviews are needed, I can do them... Dr. S.
  12. Good point about the rifle I forgot the colour difference. The flag looks good - on a real statue they might even hang a real flag from the pole, just a thought - could make it look more dramatic? I'm not sure... The head looks fine to me as well, I didn't mention it earlier as I didn't think it was a major issue. Just one minor thought, if this guy was running, the flag would be pointing backwards because of the breeze, if it were me I'd turn it backwards, but other than that it makes me want to have my own statue in Tabletown! Dr. S.
  13. It's nice, but the sword looks a little incongruous with the backpack and the helmet - add a rifle and it'll be perfect! Dr. S.
  14. Utterly brilliant! Amazing effects, fantastic photography, great story! Dr. S.
  15. He/she could be a trader... Dr. S.
  16. I love it! Well done to the Admin staff! Dr. S.
  17. Linky Dr. S.
  18. I like your tank so much, I'm going to order 2 - right now. Dr. S.
  19. Curses, that's scuppered my next project! Dr. S.
  20. No it's cool, the thread won't stay on the third page - if you post something new in there it'll appear near the top of the listing again, so someone will reply to you. :-) Oh, and I like the set...got my own pix here: http://www.tabletownonline.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=37 Dr. S.
  21. Hee hee, soon my army will consume the world! Dr. S.
  22. For a laugh, I've now entered this into the Steampunk competition - I didn't even know of it when I made it, I just found out about it so it'll be good for a giggle... Dr. S.
  23. It's the transport revolution of the future! Linky Apologies, I am in a bit of a weird mood. Dr. S.
  24. Sure thing! Note that this is NOT intended to be any kind of rival to Eurobricks, it's mainly for Tabletown and Grunts. Dr. S.
