  1. Does anyone have or know of some decent alternative brick built flame trooper backpack/fuel tank? I don't mind the lego version at all, but i was thinking of making it more compact. Im not interested in 3rd party products, just purist builds. Thanks!
  2. Looking at all the footage of the new Battlefront 2 game, it seems like there are a lot of opportunities for Lego to release some prequel battle packs, which would definitely mean actual battle droids. And plain white clones.
  3. My attempt at the Megablaster, using that new blaster block piece. Could add a white hose/tap piece for the sight.
  4. Well, their aren't a lot of First Order Star destroyers out there... and with the new set coming out for the Last Jedi, i would like to see another one.
  5. Hello Everyone! I have finally finished building my First Order Transporter, all from pieces from my collection. Took some time to find the fight parts, but I'm happy with the results! The body has been modified to be longer and hold more troops, around 8-10 depending on how cramped it is, or on what troops/weapons are used. Features all the same features of the actual set, but modified be be more movie accurate, such as the turret at the top. Also a good opportunity to show off my Megablaster for the heavy artillery trooper. Been waiting for the Rogue One Rebel Battlepack to come out so i can get that new gun piece to build this.
  6. WOW! How can words describe this? The build, the lights, what an amazing display piece!
  7. Missing parts! This will be the last time they order a walker from this place...
  8. We could probably do with a sandtrooper battle pack. However, with the second Battlefront game coming, perhaps lego will do another pair of Battlefront related battle packs, likely to be inferno squad or prequel related, considering the Lego Group has not done a prequel battle pack in some time. Personally i hope for original trilogy.
  9. Fantastic MOC! That looks like a pretty expensive collection of Shoretroopers! The hanging ships and fighters is a great addition to the build!
  10. Yeah, the costume designers choose to have the uniform simpler for higher ranking officers. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Datoo Great to see the other reviews are up!
  11. Thats a very nice rendition of the shuttle! The cockpit is very accurate to the movie, better then the official Lego model.
  12. So the great rush to review these sets begins! Good review, though i recommend you speed up the building part, especially if you move onto larger sets. Also, that is an officer figure. First Order officers ranking major or colonel wore teal coloured uniforms (Though depicted as dark blue in the set). Looking forward to the other reviews!
  13. Interesting how they turned out. I would have had the detail engrained into the figures instead of painted to keep the transparency. A good start!
  14. WOW, what a beast! The Star Destroyer is my favourite starship in Star Wars, and this is definitely one of the best builds of it i have seen so far! It doesn't look like lego in many places, and once you get used to busyness of the detail, it has a great effect.
  15. The First Order battle back is real nice. I love how they included the First Order Major/Colonel in it. Though, his dark blue uniform should be more of a teal colour, i think it blends in well with the other darker coloured uniforms of the First Order.
  16. Sure! Here is a break down of the simple build: I would love to see people's variants on this backpack!
  17. Hello So your goal is to convert the set into something else other then a Star Destroyer? Is it still in the Star Wars universe? I would suggest for the bridge that you make a more space looking superstructure based off old battleships.
  18. Hello all! I am the General Moe, and i create stop motion films. My first taste of Lego Brickfilms came in 2007, when the Lego page featured some stop motions in the star wars section. I was hooked! An Average Death Star Day was my favourite by far, and i have a love for the Brickfilms of the past. So i decided to create a series that harkens back to the classic age of lego stop motions! I deliberately recreated the style of the old films. This involved lowering the frame rate and camera quality. A plain and consistent lighting was used, with the occasional flicker and set mistake. The parts and figures used were all kept pre-2007, and the sets were built in the simple, straight forward style of the early brick films. Most importantly, the practical effects! People were very limited back them, so i imposed those limitations on myself as well. I hope you enjoy theses films and bring back the memories of the time spent on the Lego Star Wars homepage!
  19. Hey I'm still a bit new to this forum, I had been visiting this page ages before i created my account, but i'm still a bit "iffy" on the policy of posting videos to this forum. I make lego stop motions, mainly Star Wars, and i was wondering if they could be posted on the forum?
  20. Sure thing! I will try and get some images up some time this week!
