I just don't get why they changed the colour of Maxime's hair from brown to black. It's very annoying that in the same year, same line (i.e. main line, not CMF) sets which are released within two months of each other have inconsistencies like this. It just doesn't show much care to me. Her hair is not black at all so why change it?

Hope to see some more detailed pics soon. I love the concept, but I'm not sold yet on the box art. It's interesting, but I want to see the interior. The idea of changing the leaves to vary the season is cool. White leaves for winter with some added 'snow' elsewhere would probably look great too.

He wasn't exactly unhelpful, but seemed adamant they didn't have a problem with B+P even though I said I had tried multiple browsers and that others were having problems also so it's not just me personally and it might effect business (it's certainly stopping me). To be honest, I'd given up on ordering and only contacted them because I thought they really should know something in their system is mucking up, but to keep denying it was a bit annoying. He did say he would pass on my issue although I don't see what good it will do. That's weird as this guy encouraged me to do my order by phone even though I said I really didn't have the time to ring up with such a long list. Then I think he thought I was getting B+P mixed up with Pick A Brick because of the size of my order (big, but not that big in terms of Lego and what you get for £s). It almost felt like he thought I shouldn't be making a large B+P order. Anyway, I cleared all my cookies after the phone call, tried again, but the problem came back almost straight away. Nothing more to be done really.

Just contacted CS to ask if they know of the error and if it will be fixed after trying so many times. They just said website is slower than normal, but no reported issues (despite your report). Told them it is stopping me making a large order so thought they should know as it is probably losing them custom. They just said try a different device, clear cookies etc. Basically, I can't get my B+P to transfer to the basket so I'd have to call them with a really long list and I haven't got the time to do that.

@typingduck I don't know how you did that, but thank you! I will get lost down a rabbit hole later looking through it all. My cart would not stop deleting on me last night so I'm starting afresh again.

I didn't notice anything immediately and on looking at the current R2 and the one in the pics I can't see any difference either. @wesker What are we missing?

Yep it is doing that (has done it to me several times), but it is also deleting entire baskets. It is still deleting baskets today. It has deleted my basket from last night again. I am now giving up.

Glad you got your order done. Mine's more a random see what I want thing so I haven't planned it down to a list. Good thinking though. I'm trying to do my order again and it's now duplicating items. My order doubled in price so I checked back through the list and it's listing parts twice in different sections. Only been on today redoing as I'm in bed ill and it's quite frankly doing my head in now. I haven't got the energy to ring up. I don't suppose they said when it would be fixed or if they were even aware it it playing up?

Come on, we all know we'll be buying that Landspeeder just to get Luke in his giant bib ?. I like the new smooth seats, but those turbines don't look right with that gap in the middle of the top one. Bit of a strange design in my opinion, but I'm sure kids won't care.

I just tried with Pick a Brick and that's not working either. Just deletes your basket when you transfer your bricks to basket. Very annoying

Just reloaded my basket, went to checkout, get error and nothing shows in basket. All gone. Guess they don't want people to get double VIPs on B&P. Irony is, that's when most will just go for it and order more ...

I wouldn't know. Had a load in my basket last night and was logged in as a VIP. Normally your B&P order will remain in your basket so you can go back and edit. But this morning it's gone. Well I probably shouldn't be spending that money anyway

I'm in the UK and preordered because I was mainly using VIP points so didn't mind paying full RRP and going on the rate at which the HP sets went to backorder last year thought I might as well preorder. But in the end it got me nowhere really. The sets never went to backorder in the first 24 hours and, although I haven't checked constantly, they haven't since (or if they have it has been a very small window). Preordering also meant that I missed out on the promo they unexpectedly released on release date and they also took quite a few days after release to even ship my order. North America might be a totally different scenario, but I get the feeling Lego was more prepared for the demand this year.

Do you know if it's like that with everything that says OOS? Or is it only if you're lucky and some pieces really are unavailable for a while?
