Imperial Officers Mafia - Day One
Trekkie99 replied to Bob's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Seeing that we're debating a day one lynch, I'll add my two cents and say that I'm against it. I'll be sharing my opinion on this and other discussions in fuller detail shortly. (Long day, and I have a headache.) -
Imperial Officers Mafia - Day One

This could prove problematic since their galaxy is surrounded by a negative energy field known as the galactic barrier. Not only is passing thru the barrier dangerous, people high on the so called "Esper rating" who pass thru the barrier have the potential to unlock ESP abilities. However once they've unlocked these abilities, the Espers become more powerful as time passes eventually becoming like gods, and more often than not these godlike humans would proclaim that they are gods, and demand that others worship them. -
Imperial Officers Mafia - Day One

The Vulcan mind meld is a telepathic practice used by a reported alien race Known as Vulcans who exist in another galaxy far far away, and originate from their home planet Vulcan. The practice involves telepathically joining minds with another individual allowing for an exchange of thoughts, memories, emotions, etc. However seeing that a Vulcan is not among us, and that the practice is exclusive to those of the Vulcan race, I only bring it up because I'm a uh...enthusiast. -

[WIP] Lego monorails. [Custom Rail Systems (CRS)]
Trekkie99 replied to Trekkie99's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Wow! That's an awesome layout and an awesome monorail @djm! Can't wait to see your further progress. -
Also, @Steamdemon and @Lord Duvors

If Lego were to bring back the monorail as a new system, what would like to see from it? What features should it have? Also, what would it take to make a successful Lego monorail Ideas project? Two features I'd like to see which would work hand in hand, would be that the monorail could actually grab onto the track, that way allowing the system to work as a suspended monorail, all while using the same system. I forget who said it, but I remember hearing somewhere that Lego designers tested a monorail system idea with kids, but their reaction wasn't the highest on the "this is awesome!" scale. Whether or not the designers had a physical concept system or just drawings and concept art, it would be interesting to know what they may have had in mind for a new monorail system.

That's exactly how I look at it. A premolded curve piece, preferably with the official Lego train track curve radius, would be great to have, and you still have the option to make your own curved monorail track at whatever curve radius you like. As for the stress free curves, I think that if Lego were to accept a CRS monorail project, it would likely contain the monorail, and a short section of straight track long enough to allow the monorail to be displayed upon. Also, the power functions would probably be removed and replaced with something structural and/or cosmetic to take the PF components place.
-
Congratulations on 100 supporters! I just supported your project myself. Good luck. This is off topic, but I just wanted to say that I'm hoping yours, mine, other's monorail designs won't be negatively affected by the New Power Functions 2.0.

That's perfectly fine. I'd like to ask @the imperial reporter if he's still onboard. Like our host has stated, it's definitely recommended to quickly read thru one of two previous games to get a feeling for the game. My best advice that I can give is to stay active, cast your vote, and give a reason for your vote. And above all have fun!

Sweet switch tower @FiliusRucilo! Would work great for a LUG display. -
Here's a quick tip for everyone before we're assigned to the Death Star.
-
Three more to go. I posted a quick status update, in hopes of bringing in some new players.
-
Welcome aboard! Can our host add a rule that prohibits lynching Rider Raider on day one? Three times in a row wouldn't be pleasant.
-
Boy do I feel stupid right now. five more players to go!
-
Aww shucks. I've only watched Star Wars four, five, six, and seven, but I think I've learned most of the little I do know thru memes and that sort. Six players to go!
-
So are we all going to be stormtroopers? I myself don't know that much about Star Wars , but off the top of my head I can name a few imperial character types such as stormtroopers, tie fighter pilots, imperial officers, emperors guards, mouse droids, imperial astromech droids, and of course, Darth Vader and Lord Sidious. (The last one will likely be our hosts character). I personally wouldn't want to be an imperial officer since Darth Vader likes to kill those guys for kicks.

That's pretty sweet for its size! Nicely done.
