  1. The question is who's splitting the vote? Those who vote for Ozzel, those who vote for Jellico, or those who vote for Piett?
  2. I'll vote for Ozzel if it means a lynch. But right now I'm hoping we can lynch Piett since I find him to be a more preferred lynch candidate.
  3. May I ask of you to say what those actions were? "Defensive"? Are there any other suspicious actions Jellico has exhibited that you've noticed but that have escaped me and possibly others?
  4. 4 1/2 hours remain in the day. Those who haven't voted better get their votes in soon, and those who wish to potentially change their vote to insure a lynch should take action.
  5. Cool! I'd love to see some photos of your work.
  6. Ok, so a couple of things. The three members in this room that are the highest on the chopping block are Daala, Jellico, and Ozzel. Daala? I think she's still on a learning curve. Personally I don't think she's said enough to give me something to go on, but her recent posts show a higher level of commitment. Jellico? I actually fail to see what makes him such an appealing lynch choice. "Defensive"? Is that all you have to go on? Ozzel? Ozzel is Ozzel. That's not a get out of jail free card, but he's explained his absence, and he also informed us of the fact that he would be absent. In my eyes, he's no more guilty than most of the members here. Of the three, who would I vote for if it would insure a lynch for today? Probably Ozzel. Not because I think he's scum, but because if we want a lynch, and these are the only three choices everyone keeps leaning towards, Ozzel is the best choice. Why? Because Daala won't give us much to work with tomorrow, and Jellico is (in my eyes) innocent and a important member to have among us if we want to take down the traitors. Ozzel is a helpful member too, but if we must lynch one of these three, he'll give us the most info without causing a serious blow to the town. But that doesn't mean that I still don't stand by my vote for Piett. Here's a question. What makes Jellico a more appealing lynch than Piett?
  7. But that maybe just it. Asking about game mechanics is a Indirect way of asking about power roles.
  8. I follow most of the sub-forums here in Eurobricks, but my two favorites are the Train and Sci-fi forums. I'm not a huge Star Wars fan, and most licensed themes aren't my thing, so I rarely if never visit those forums. I guess behavior varies depending on what forum it is. The Train Tech forum for example is a great! When you post a WIP topic, people often join in and offer advice and tips on building your model or solving problems you may have with the design. It's a very supportive community and i love it. The Sci-fi forum is awesome as well. I started my classic space discussion topic a little over a year ago, and it's reached fifteen pages. Discussing with so many people about the merits of classic space and what the future may hold has been great! I haven't participated in any contests, but they're always fun to follow! But do we need more? Maybe. I'm not to sure. I think tags are fun! It's a great way to express people's interests and accomplishments. Hmm. No I don't believe I do. Yes! I love Mafia! Yes, I follow Eurobrick's Flickr feed, as well as post some of my MOCs there as well. Yes, Flickr is my preferred method. Broad threads are good. I might find something that interests me that I otherwise might have missed. Train Tech and/or Sci-fi sub-forums.
  9. If everyone assumes that a traitor wouldn't make such a "dumb" move, doesn't that make it a genius move for a traitor to do? Maybe that's what you were hoping would happen. Perhaps that's why Isard was killed. Maybe she saw what I see.
  10. Thanks for posting this @djm! This design is so cool because it's like flexible track for monorails!
  11. A couple of things you said yesterday struck me as scummy. Particularly when you asked if anyone might think there was a "twist" to the game. The late Isard replied to this saying the following. You replied and explained your reasoning. Isard replied to this saying the following. And then of course she voted for you. Asking about game mechanics is scummy, and I get the feeling you may have been trying to get someone with a power role to hint at something. And considering Isard questioned you on this, it makes me think your a traitor who was trying to find a potential third party member whom you then killed in the night. Asking about game mechanics is pretty much asking a power role to speak up and thereby revealing themselves to the traitors. That is extremely scummy. My vote stays.
  12. Agreed 100%. Now of course Ozzel being Ozzel doesn't give him a get out of Darth Vaders force choke free card, but I personally don't think his behaviour at the moment gives any inclination towards what side he's on. As for my personal vote, I still suspicious of Fenton, but Piett may be a more likely lynch candidate. So I'm going to vote. Vote: Admiral Piett (Sandy)
  13. My suspicions are on a few people here, particularly Captain Fenton and Admiral Piett. I'm still suspicious of Fenton because of his opinion from yesterday about discussing whether or not to have a day one lynch, and Piett's behavior, both from today and yesterday, strikes me as odd.
  14. My guess is that she was picked because her death might give us the littlest to work with in sniffing out the traitors. So my question is why her and not someone else? What traits made her an appealing victim to the the murderer, and who else shares those traits but was not chosen by the murderer?
  15. Fantastically adorable @FiliusRucilo! I love it!
  16. I would like to see all those other themes, but that doesn't mean you have to kill off one theme to introduce another. Let's hope not.
  17. "Man that sucks" is pretty much the gist of people's reaction. Their opinion on a day one lynch however can prove very helpful, but you can push for a day one lynch to get people talking without actually needing to go thru with it. The main advocators are probably not scum. It's to much of a loud, voicey position. A position a traitor wouldn't want to be in. Bandwagoners can be scum, but they can also inactive players and third party roles. IMO, day one should be a warm up and the game should unofficially start on day two. We can accuse, point fingers, and threaten a day one lynch to get people's reaction on day one all we want, but actually going thru with it is a bad idea. Keep in mind that if we have a third party member, and we lynch on day one, we run risk of losing three townies. Ouch. On day two we'll have the discussion of day one to analyze, possibly know whether or not we have a third party member among us, and finally who was killed in the night and what we can learn from their death.
  18. Correct. On that note, I'd like to ask someone if they could explain for everyone exactly what we can learn if we lynch a loyal town member this early in the game. Obviously if we lynch a traitor it would be a win win, but that's probably not going to happen.
  19. Is it just me, or is everyone acting like we're on day three or something and we're in desperate need of a lynch? Day one has been rather confusing for me so far, but there's been plenty of discussion meaning that we may be able to gleam something from today now or later on in the game. I'm still opposed to a day one lynch, but not as much as I was prior. If we have any power rolls, I want to give them time to catch their bearings. Especially after such a hectic first day.
  20. Dellus hasn't been very active, but he's explained that he was busy. As I've stated before, I'm suspicious of those who are insistent on a day one lynch. In my eyes, Dellus looks like a inactive player that the scum are hoping to use as a easy day one bandwagon lynch. I still disagree on this. Discussing whether or not to have a day one lynch can reveal hidden intentions. I don't see how accusing and finger pointing this early in the game is any more beneficial. These are some fair points against Shelby, and worth keeping an eye on. How did I miss this glorious zinger?
  21. Fair enough. Right now my suspicion lies upon those in favor of a day one lynch and those who feel it is useless to discuss whether or not we should have a day one lynch. Particularly @Peanuts who seemed awfully defensive about discussing a day one lynch, yet stated he was in favor of a day one lynch. So for now I'm going to Vote: Captain Fenton (Peanuts)
  22. Just day one chit chat. That's all. (Also I'm a Trekkie and I find it amusing to discuss Star Trek in a Star Wars themed game. ) I personally see nothing wrong with debating early in the game whether or not we want a day one lynch. Agreed. What do you propose we discuss with our precious time on day one then?
