  1. Thank you for your work @letsbuild I was following the project at mecabricks and now I am missing a few pieces but will build the F1 soon as it is great :)
  2. Nice little creation. I like it a lot despite the colour craziness. Does not look like any of the cars on the WTCC/WTCR grid but is definitely interesting. As with all race cars: is it fast?
  3. Great little construction. I especially enjoyed the slo-mo head movement and face of the driver at around 3:36 :D
  4. Wonderful LMP racer, simply stunning. and it's RC.
  5. Is it only me or are all of these five colour variations looking way better than the 'original' green the Sian comes in?
  6. It looks really good and is instantly recognizable. The Tumbler tires do look good on this. As for the roof maybe create it withe the curved panels in black or white?
  7. Congratulations to the winners. I hope that maybe a similar Small Car Contest could be held annually so that we could see more great builds each year.
  8. Great creation. It gives me that 80's/90's vibe :)
  9. I was trying to recreate part of it based on the photos so an instruction would be nice
  10. Oh wow, going through the list a few times to pick the final votes and even after that I know I could assign the points completely differently as there are so many great builds on so many different levels. For this competition with 60+ entries there should be a 10 place voting system. But my votes are: 52: 10 33: 6 20: 4 43: 3 24: 2 37: 1
  11. 55. The Peugeot RCZ lookalike Dimensions are 11x30 studs Functions: drive, opening hood and trunk, adjustable mirrors ;)
  12. So after a long time I finally managed to work on finishing the car. It kind of looks like the Peugeot RCZ and I will be entering it to the contest as such. Below are some of the final pictures. Three weels to choose from but I like the gray ones the most. Unfortunately its only functions are the fact that it drives in a straight line and the hood and trunk opens. Oh you can adjust the mirrors too ;)
  13. Maybe they went with the Porsche wheels because MK simply does not know yet what will be the final design produced by Lego? Nevertheless it looks really good, despite some system heavy areas.
  14. yes, it is only 11x28 studs. Thank you for the suggestion. I would place the rear fender one stud up but then there would be a huge gap in the wheelwell. I will try to adjust it a little and we will see how it goes.
  15. LBG gets my vote. Despite this being a race car i would keep the colours to azure and black.
  16. Well, two weeks have passed and the racer thingy transformed into what you see below. It is a small coupe based off the Peugeot RCZ. Not yet finished but it was good practice and an option before the TC. i know I need to improve the looks of the hood and rear amongst others. I hope to have more blocks in white next week to possibly make it better. Please give me your thoughts and opinions on possible improvements.
  17. @Thirdwigg thank you. For me the previous look was much better. It was simple and bang on and now it looks like you said like a mix of random blocks. The wheel covers also added to the whole look, although they would look better in black. I am waiting for the rear diffuser in black and this will be perfect :) If you are not happy with the roof maybe do an open cockpit version?
  18. This looks beautiful. Instantly recognizable as an LMP racer. Simple but solid. I like the azure + black colour scheme. Can you please share some pictures of the back.
  19. Great shape so far. For me it looks better with panel doors and the 3x7 panel + teeth hood. Why do you want the fire extinguisher on the outside and not in the trunk?
  20. Soo after some tinkering and modifying I am left with a frontless racer without any ideas on the possible finish. The end result - disassemble and start from scratch The second racer attempt also failed :( There are so many great entries and I don't want to copy other peoples ideas so I assume I will start with something else.
  21. This is awesome, Thank you for the instructions :)
  22. Looks just like a hot rod should
  23. This was the first take on the TC I assume it will change with time. It does look strange right now. Maybe a 1970s racer is the way to go... ilke the Porsche 917 although I would be afraid to call it that Zux I am working with a very limited amount of bricks as most of them at are my parents house so I have to make do with what I have. Good idea to extend the front to make it look better.
