    Yes the half stud bevel gears are a bit bigger in diameter then the 1 stud thick ones. You will NEED to use a the very old style 14 tooth gear to get a proper mesh .

    Yeah thats true . There are at least 3 16L ones in there. I can not measure the other ones though since im back in Delft at university and the car is at my parents place.

    I love that technique, indeed only for low torque aplications but great if you lack the space for bigger full stud gears! And I used a 7 long beam to visually make the wheelarch a bit shorter, 6 looked to big.

    Thank you all Yes that is true, it was a decision to sacrifice performance and rigidity for looks. I had the faint idea of cutting of the length of the axle behind the enzo wheel cover, but thinking about that made me puke Here you go: There is actually . But i'm very busy with my school etc so don't expect them to soon .

    FINALLY after 16 months have I been able to finish my McLaren MP4-12C. For now this was my most challenging project ever. Technical it was a piece of cake, just a 3+R gearbox, but to get the whole thing modular and to get the body look like the real thing was really troublesome.     Try to us as many vertical plates as possible, that is by far way more stronger than technic beams.

    The hillux is not mine, I do not know the author by the name to, but is is indeed a wonderful build. And yes the Mclaren and Liebherr are mine (both WIP)

    I don't understand how the L motor can be more expensive then the XL? Its price should be right in the middle of the M en XL motor

    The rubber band is supposed to pass through the brick with holes to come out on the outsides, then go down to the towball. The tile should not create a problem.
