  1. Thanks for the feedback everyone! Thanks. That's fine, go ahead. Indeed, the hairpiece is great, though I haven't yet found a use for it. I'm sure it would look great on a Halloween minifigure. Thanks again, everyone.
  2. The sun rose in Azufre, and a collection of citizens began to gather at the town square... More began to arrive... Not long after, a shaken Alexander, as well as the guards of Azufre entered the square... The last to turn up were Miguel, Martinus... ... and a battered looking Bernard. He had bruises, burn marks and his fingers had been mangled.. With the whole town gathered, the witch hunt could continue...
  3. A man came to the church of Azufre... Inside the church was Alexander the Priest. Satisfied with his work, he had returned to the church. He hadn't heard the door open... The man aimed his musket... *Bang!* Fortunately for the Priest, the musket ball narrowly missed him. "Oi! You!" The garrison in Azufre had stationed a guard at the church, much to the relief of Alexander. The guard now began to pursue the attacker... ... But the attacker managed to escape... Rules: Witch Hunt Mafia will follow the basic rules of mafia. Every day the town will be able to kill someone off. To do so, they will need to get the majority of the players to vote for one player. Once someone is voted off, it will be night time, and those with night actions will be able to PM me to tell me what they are going to do. If the day lasts for more than 4 real days, it will be night. Night will typically last about 2 real days, and if you don't PM me your night action in time, it won't be counted. In addition to this... I. Thou shalt not vote without typing it in bold. Please use these examples: Vote: Player or Unvote II. Thou shalt not edit thy posts. Doing so 3 times will incur the wrath of God. III. Thou shalt not post in the game threads when you are dead. You're dead. Act like it. IV. Thou shalt not give hints or suggestions about the game when you are either dead or are not a participant. Feedback is okay though. V. Thou shalt not be a sore loser. It's only a game. VI. Thou shalt not sign up if you are not going to participate. VII. Thou shalt not rush the host. I'm just trying to take some pictures in natural light. VIII. Thou shalt not - err, seven commandments are good enough aren't they? IX. Thou shalt not quote what I said from a PM. If you must, please paraphrase. Quoting one of my PMs will also incur the wrath of God. X. Thou shalt not judge a book by it's cover. Just because they have angry faces, it doesn't mean they're heretics. 4. Hmm, it seems like the pirate ship will have the skull and crossbones sails after all... Aside from that, the sets all look great! I really love the soldier's fort, it looks very old school, especially from this angle. The shipwreck set is very nice too, I love the ragged look of it, and it's great to get a tan rope bridge (as well as a new pirate hottie. ). Apparently the Pirates sets are coming out in May...
  5. A truly beautiful creation, Dragonator. The facading on the walls of the house is great, the slopes and arches, as well as the lovely windows really make the castle come alive. The various dragon pieces on the house is a very nice touch, and really adds some uniqueness to the structure. I love the stain-glass window at the back, that's an ingenious technique, I may use that for one of my upcoming MOCs. The landscaping is great too, I love the two little gardens on either side of the balcony. I really like the beginning of the countryside to the right of the river, with the neat little signpost, fencing, and the fisherman-turned-mercenary-turned-farmer we all love. A brilliant creation, Dragonator, and even better to see in real life. You're a very talented builder, I can't wait to see Dragon's Keep.
  6. Thanks for the pics, Lego-Freak. What a wonderful set! - Is that Lao Che I see? One of the gangsters has a moustache at least... The other gangster seems to have the flesh version of the generic criminal head. - Willie has a screaming head! - The new tuxedo torsos look great! - I love the gangster car, another beautiful Indy vehicle (though I'd like it to have less studs showing). A must buy for me, I can't wait to see new pics of the Flying Wing.
  7. Meet Jim. He's the engineer behind Dr. Inferno's beloved robotic arm. Here we see Jim repairing Dr. Inferno's arm after a tough day of world domination attempts... Jim keeps his various arm designs on display... ... As well as a wide variety of inconvenient items to attach to your arm... Get it? Because he builds robotic arms? Right hand man? Get it? Oh, nevermind... Enjoy! Feedback much appreciated.
  8. Oh, I forgot... PM me your night actions now. Day 2 will begin at around Sunday 4:00 am GMT, so get them in by then.
  9. Oops, see if you can spot the difference in the two night pictures. It doesn't seem like it. If I could, would the option to do so would appear when I edit the topic OP? And thanks. Even better than what I had asked for.
  10. The sun began to set in Azufre and town had failed to come to a decision. Inquisitor Fernando sighed, "We shall continue this tommorow." The town returned to their houses for the night, hoping to have more luck catching witches the next day. Some however, planned to take action themselves, and stop the vile heathens from spreading their filth to the town at night. This thread may be closed.
  11. Yes. Could this thread please be renamed "Witch Hunt Mafia - Discussion Thread"?
  12. Very nice, Sir Nadroj! I especially like Deputy Boon, the Ventrilorabbit and the Space Being. Boon is great, I love the simplicity of him. Great use of the fedora and Cruncher Block torso, they really work well for this character. I love the Ventrilorabbit, he looks very sinister. I love how you've used the Nightwing (?) head to create those evil eyes. The Space Being is brilliant, the helmet looks great, the decals look great and the "super soaker" looks great. Is that a crystal skull you've used? Finally, Conquistador De Le Muerta is great, the skeleton looks so good in gold. My one complaint though would be the bayonet - I don't think that they were used during the early 16h Century. Overall, great work, your figures look fantastic.
  13. The sky began to darken. The town had to make a decision now, or not at all. The day will end at about 4:00 am GMT.
  14. Congratulations WhiteFang and TheBrickster, you've both most certainly deserved your promotions.
  15. After a short break, the members of the town returned to the town square. Before heading back to the meeting, Mustafa counted his profits of the day... He made note of the items that had been purchased... - 2 Persian Rugs - 1 Axe - 1 Broomstick - 1 Basket of Apples - Parchment Having written this down, he hurried off to the town square, where the meeting was about to begin...
  16. A few hours into the first day of the witch hunt, the town was stumped. Inquisitor Fernando sighed. His stomach rumbled too. "We will continue this after lunch.." he said. The crowd soon dispersed. Charles and Joan retreated to their manor, as did Philip to his. Elisa trailed behind them. Muttering to himself, Fernando walked back to his quarters. Pablo returned to his own hut too, hopefully to take a long overdue bath. Christopher went back to the town barracks along with Henry. Martinus seemed to head back to the bakery, though no customers arrived. Gustavus and Hernan began to work on their farm once more. Mustafa and Bernard set up their shops down at the market just as Sabrina, John and Cassandra arrived. Alexander returned to the church. Following close behind him were Miguel, Isabella and Sergio. (Feel free to use the avatars I've put in the original post, they're much clearer than the original ones, though they look less scary. )
  17. Ah yes, the trench was very nice. I especially liked the cables and cords running to the power generator, as well as the light-up bricks indoors and the crashed snowspeeder. What, hasn't he seen the movies?
  18. The sun blossomed from under the hills, and light spread across the countryside. The church bells of Azufre greeted the new day. Priest Alexander eagerly hurried out of the church. Word had reached him that the inquisitor had at last arrived in Azufre. A large crowd had gathered in the town square. Atop a wooden platform Inquisitor Fernando stood. With the raising of his hand, the noise from the crowd died down. "Citizens of Azufre..." he began, "this town is in great peril! This town is cursed! Cursed by the foulest of witches and heretics. As we speak, the Devil's servants seek to destroy this good town. They seek to plunge this town into the flames of chaos, and engulf us in heresy! Will you allow this to happen to your beloved town?" The crowd yelled in outrage. "Then we must fight against the heathens! Every day, we will decide who has fallen to heresy, and they will be executed. The coming days will be grim, but once this is over, we will be free from the Devil's gaze, and will be once more live as the righteous children of God!" With that, the crowd let out a great cheer, and began to return to their homes - it was time to get out the old pitchfork and torch. It was time for a good old fashioned witch hunt! Inquisitor Fernando smiled with satisfaction. 19. Yes, the Hoth diorama was great. Did you say you made the marks in the snow? I'll look forward to seeing what you make next year. Hopefully I'll be able to enter too.
  20. Since everyone has revealed their roles now and have avatars, I've added all of the avatars and names into the original post. I take it that kill will is playing, so I'll post the Day 1 thread soon. I'm sure you'll find a way...
  21. Congratulations on the win, it was well deserved. Your chateau was superb.
  22. Since kill will has made an avatar and a sig for his character, I take it that he is playing...
  23. (Yes, that would be a better idea. Could someone please rename this thread "Witch Hunt Mafia - Confirmation Thread"?) (Try not to. Just try to make sure that the spelling is correct before you post. If you removed something important from your post when editing, we wouldn't be able to tell.)
  24. How big will it be? I usually find that the top a hot air balloon works well: And if it's a mosque you're making, perhaps this piece would work too: If you want a brickbuilt solution though, I'm not sure, but perhaps you should look at the instructions for the Taj Mahal (Part 1, Part 2, Part 3) I hope that helps.
  25. (It's the confirmation thread. Once everyone has confirmed, it will be the thread for Day 1.) Hmm... Since the day hasn't actually started yet, I'll pretend I didn't see that. ... Or that.
