  1. You've Been Awarded (3) Point(s): Judges Comments (not all judges comment): Great build for such a short notice. The rock work is done well. Fantastic rock work, which is not safe looking at all the jagged bits and points, but it all flowed very well together along with the vegetation, this is a great detailed build from you! 2. You've Been Awarded (3) Point(s): Judges Comments (not all judges comment): Nice small quick build. Time was an issue so feedback is probably not necessary in this case. Great job with the terrain/beach. I like how you focused the pics up close with the water and elements for the majority of your pics. You can Update your AAR Post with your points to keep track. 3. You've Been Awarded (3) Point(s): Judges Comments (not all judges comment): Very nice given the short time frame. For a quick build, this is well done, a few things here to note...limited the build to a single baseplate, and really only added one chunk of rock. However, disguised the rest of the plate by COVERING it in foilage, at different levels, and that adds depth really quickly. Brick built drone was a nice addition. 4. You've Been Awarded (3) Point(s): Judges Comments (not all judges comment): Great terrain work, creative custom truck and radar trailer! Your dark blue background is PERFECT for the evening shots...PERFECT! But for the daylight ones, it's almost a lil bit too dark and casts some lighting issues, just something I see. 5. You've Been Awarded (2 ) Point(s): Judges Comments (not all judges comment): Thanks for showing the sabotage build, I think it confused a few but it was good to see the story unfold. Good yard area, trucks, troops, and sabotuers. There's a lot going on from different angles. That blue background though!!! You can Update your AAR Post with your points to keep track. 6. Why are you showing a country attacking you that hasn't actually attacked you yet? It was just announced COAC is going on the offensive. You cannot have a build showing you being attacked by a country that has not made one move toward you. I don't think you would like it if a country that has not attacked you yet made a build like this, especially something like this that mimics terrorism. Come on man. Do we have to make a rule for every scenario there is? If we do, the game will be over regulated and not fun. Be reasonable. We do not want to make too many rules. Please think about this before you post. This build needs to be edited before it can be scored.
  7. So it looks like the RON has edged out the COAC in CP1 and have elected to defend. Campaign 2 will be coming soon. Congratulations to everyone on some solid work. A note from a staff member on scoring: "As this is the first major build of the campaign, I wanted everyone to kinda have an idea of what we are looking for in the builds. That's why I tried to leave some comments for everyone. My intention is not to piss anyone off, I just want to try to push those builders to take it up another step." Current Snapshot of where we stand with builds that have been scored. May be a point fluctuation or so because of rounding, we will round up. If anything looks crazy out of order, contact your teams corresponding staff member.
  8. You've Been Awarded ( 8 ) Point(s): Judges Comments (not all judges comment): This is how you do an LDD Build. All LDD Builders should take notice. However, you need to label your build saying it's LDD as I didn't even realize it at first glance. I think the build could have benefited from maybe closing in one side and having a little more detail on the walls. Very Nice, next time be a little more ambitious now that you've shown us you can use the program well. Your men were prepping for an offensive campaign, not much for geography or culture, but a lil equipment, no Map grid though. Be sure to fully read over the details on requirments for the I like the battle map, wonderful work and placement of the pic. The wall has some details, not over detailed, but a good mix. I might have placed the map away from the wall, but that's just me. The heavy venting on the floor draws my attention for some reason. Thank you for the render. 9. You've Been Awarded ( 8 ) Point(s): Judges Comments (not all judges comment): Very nicely done. Tell me where I can get all the blank tan torsos minifigs? The trees outside the windows made me do a double take. Like others have said, the roll up doorway is a neat technique adding a nice touch of reality. I would have liked to have seen a bit more of the vehicles since they take up a lot of space but they are hidden behind the figs and crates. Nice work! 10. You've Been Awarded ( 7 ) Point(s): Judges Comments (not all judges comment): This was the right blend of detail for the size of the build. Admittedly, I would have liked to seen something a little bigger but that didn't hurt your score. The truck is well articulated and detailed. Next time, try to build something a little more grounded in a realistic vehicle as opposed to a video game. The detailing on the missile launch was top notch and a technique I fully intend to steal for future use. Thank you. Great job! You aren't just prepping to fight, looks like you may actually be fighting already? I can see geography and equipment, but you left out a map grid square. Be sure to watch out for those requirments on your builds for next time. I would have made the base a lil bigger as you want the base to compliment the build, not make it feel crammed. A very detailed build with terrain changes, flora, and people along with items. I think your SAM launcher has real potential, but be sure to look up what SAMs look like. Very elongated missles. The entire vehicle itself though looks to be a unique build so great job on creating that! You can Update your AAR Post with your points to keep track. Thanks for Playing!
  11. You've Been Awarded ( 6 ) Point(s): Judges Comments (not all judges comment): Great First build. The fact that you incorporated the tunneling aspect in under the road was nice. The cascading plats coming out of the tunnel looks cool but could be a little misleading. Things I would work on: The vehicle looks like a good start but maybe it needs to be a little more rugged and proportionately built. I'd recommend looking into some real world military off road vehicles and look at their dimensions. Also, there doesnt appear to be any rhyme or reason to how the vegetation is laid out up on the surface. Might look better to maybe clean that up a bit. Good Job! Supporting the campaign by recruiting, yes? I see geography and equipment, but no map grid. Be sure to hit all of the requirements when building your tasked challenges...as they may affect scores in the future. Solid start here, you have multiple levels, just beware when photographing the lower darker levels, it can be tricky to light them up. You built your own multi-purpose jeep type vehicle, cool! Be sure to show that as well. The solid 1 color background was a good choice, and you have lots of terrain changes along with plantlife. I look forward to seeing your future builds! 12. You've Been Awarded ( 5 ) Point(s): Judges Comments (not all judges comment): There is a lot going on here, maybe too much as detail is spread a little bit thin. The highlights for me are the guys planting the dynamite on the base of the bridge and the jeeps rolling down the road outside in the grass. I would have tried to work with those 2 aspects alone and put in some more work on them. Like for where the boat is in the water, maybe use some white or clear tiles to show the waves around the outline of it. The part at the end with the sheet to simulate snow was a little bit too much for me. If you can't build it, I would avoid trying to simulate it. Not a bad effort. I would lower the ambition a little and work harder on a build with a few less tasks. I see you prepping for the invasion. I see equipment and terrain, lots of terrain, and multiple map grids. I think you have WAY too much going on in here...and I feel if you had focused your time into one build instead of multiple builds, your score would reflect that. First of all, in a contest, plese don't use fake terrain, liek a sheet to resemble snow. This game is to make you a better builder, sheets are great for backgrounds, but not as a terrain substitute in a contest. I see a roadway through the jungle, a bridge over water, and a conference room. Too many locations as I'm sure they are not all in the same grid square right? I do like the truck towing the boat on the roadway, this looks good. For the bridge, if you are going to take a close up of the TNT, don't let the background show; a pic of the tiled water, a troop or two, and the pillar with dynamite is all we need. You have some incredible potential in your builds, sit back, plan it out, and overwhelm us with your detailed build!!! You can Update your AAR Post with your points to keep track. Thanks for Playing!
  13. You've Been Awarded ( 7 ) Point(s): Judges Comments (not all judges comment): The water running through the middle is a nice touch; and the way you detailed the water was even better. The finishing work around the edge of the build complimented everything well too. I would have liked to have seen more on the far side of the water; maybe some terrain variations or coloring to show the path has been used. Overall, very nice. I see you have supported the alliance by planning ahead for your team. I see geography, terrain, equipment and a map grid square. Good job with the requirements of the build. Minor elevation changes, plenty of vegetation and flora, and some geared up soldiers. A well made base that doesn't detract from the build, doesn't do much other than clean up the ends, and looks as if it supports the build and doesn't crimp anything. If anything, my opinion, add some more rocks to the path, maybe unstraighten both the path and creek, and maybe not use the same color backdrop as the water? But then, maybe it works and that was your intention? You can Update your AAR Post with your points to keep track. Thanks for Playing!
  14. You've Been Awarded ( 8 ) Point(s): Judges Comments (not all judges comment): So until I scrolled to the bottom and saw that this was one giant build, I thought each level was a separate build. Great structural work. Out of everything here, I was most impressed with the wrap around hallway on the bottom level, it really made me think of a Cold War Bunker. The only thing I would work on would be the texturing of the landscape on the surface. Try varying your vegetation and adding some other colors. Might also try adding some small plates in other areas to have a variation on the terrain. Well done! Prepping to fight, Geography, equipment, and a grid square, good job with the requirements! This is a detailed, full build. You've got three levels off builds here. Lots of vegetation on the ground level, maybe add a few small plates here and there to adjust for small changes in terrain. On the lower levels, light gets so tricky, I know. I like the corridor shot, maybe try to light it from the end with a light source instead of a flash? Just thoughts though. Great build, solid effort here on a build well done. You can Update your AAR Post with your points to keep track. Thanks for Playing!
  15. You've Been Awarded ( 6) Point(s): Judges Comments (not all judges comment): Very Nice. The detailing on this is superb. The way you built the flag into the wall was a very nice touch. Really the only complaints I have are that this could have been spread out maybe a few more studs in either direction to make everything a little more visible or make a much larger build and show me more. Great Job! I see equipment, a grid square, and a team gearing up to support it's allies in the campaign. Good job! A basic build to show off your team ready to fight. Feels a lil cramped though, maybe give yourself a lil extra room to show off those sweet details you have crammed into this build. I think because of the smaller build, that's what gave you the shadows when photographing. You can Update your AAR Post with your points to keep track. Thanks for Playing!
  16. You've Been Awarded ( 6 ) Point(s): Judges Comments (not all judges comment): The vehicle is exceptionally well built. Love the custom framing with technic and minifig hands. But..... this is really more of a side build. We needed more for this. The build quality is great, but this needed more. Looks as if your men are patrolling, so they are supporting the offensive campaign? I see a grid square on the map and clearly see geography and equipment. Be sure to familiarize yourself with the basic requirements for builds in the future as it can affect your score. Terrain is not completely flat, and you added some small sand dunes and vegetation. The sand rail is a unique build and I appreciate the creativity put into that. When constructing a base for your build, make sure it doesn't look too small. You want the base to support your build and if anything, add to it by bringing detail into the build. It looks as if the vehicle is going to roll right off the base. Also, set the focus of the build dead center on the base; your vehicle looks to be a bit forward. Great start and I look forward to seeing future detailed builds from you! 17. You've Been Awarded ( 8 ) Point(s): Judges Comments (not all judges comment): Phenomenal detail here. You have just the right amount of small bits to draw intrigue, but not too much where you lose focus. The wall of weaponry is really great. Top notch build, setting the bar high. I want to know what is in the secret weapon lab. Supporting the alliance's campaign, equipment usage, and a map grid. Well done on the basic requirements of the build. You picked a defined size and detailed it intensely! The coffee and cookies next to the bench vise. A wall of weaponry and a secret work room. This is a fantastic build, showcasing your nation prepping gear for it's team to use in the coming months/campaigns/battles. You can Update your AAR Post with your points to keep track. 18. You've Been Awarded ( 7 ) Point(s): Judges Comments (not all judges comment): There is so much going on here, it's great. The crane is a nice touch, but I would have liked to have seen it modified a bit more from the actual LEGO set. The small crates and items littered through out are a nice touch. Suggestions would be to tie things together a bit with either some tile walkways or maybe space things a little better for practicality (building squeezed in behind the train tracks and crane. Tons of detail here, this is great. I see support of an offensive campaign. I did not see a map grid but I do see equipment and geography. Very busy and detailed scene. Maybe a lil too much going on? Lots of general details, but nothing goes too detailed into anything particular. But that's not necessarily a bad thing. You can Update your AAR Post with your points to keep track. 19. You've Been Awarded ( 5 ) Point(s): Judges Comments (not all judges comment): Very cool concept. One big thing for me was the lack of an area for a ship to dock and no water. Where are the boats going to go? Haha. Solid structuring here. Would have liked to have seen a cleaner build given the LDD. Maybe some tiling on the platform or or shown us some more of the below deck. I look forward to seeing more of your work when you are not rushing. You have shown how your nation is able to assist in the campaign. You have shown some military equipment. You also labelled a map and grid square. It's a shame that you were rushed for this build because I think with some more details, this LDD build would have really stood out. You did render the build and that helps considerably, thank you. 20. You've Been Awarded (8) Point(s): Judges Comments (not all judges comment): Excellent build. Love how you neatly tucked the bunker into the terrain. The Centaur looks good, I would just recommend some bigger tires for it. Very intricate rock work meshes very well. Very Nicely Done! Getting supplies in preperation to fight. Geography and equipmet both shown in this build. You added a grid square, but no map. Won't count against you this round, but in the future, be sure to add those so you can show an exact location. Custom built, well detailed vehicle looks really great, but yes, bigger tires, looks like high speeds would flip it over. And please, be sure to DUST your vehicles! The checkpoint is great. I like the SNOT rock walls and the 1x1 blue studs for water. The bunker is placed on an angle and not sure how many people noticed. Great little detail as it can totally change a scene. 21. You've Been Awarded (4) Point(s): Judges Comments (not all judges comment): Give us more detail. Your ideas are full of potential, you just need to put a little more into them. The train car and platform could have benefited from either some tiles, or railing, or something. Though the truck was intended to be basic, you could have had a little more detail on it. So again, your ideas and story are great but you need to give us some more detail in the build. Keep working! No terrain, no geography, no culture, but a little bit of equipment. You seem to be supporting the campaign instead of digging in. Also, there is no indication of a map grid or which map this takes place in. Be sure to read the requirements for each build as this may affect scores in future builds. As to your build...so much potential here. The white background as one piece was great, and the point is to have a solid background shot. Your first pic should be one of your best. It should not show the ends of your background!!! Detail wise, you had a good start but it's as if you forgot to finish or just did not have enough time. Wheel chocks on the rail car, GREAT DETAIL!!! I see the chocks for in front of the tires, but where are the ones for behind the tires? Drop a couple of crates onto the depot platform, maybe add a lil bit on the bottom of the rail car; add those small details, they add up really fast. Also, be sure you do not block your light source when snapping pics. The underside of the rail car looks as if it does not even exist at times. I look forward to your future builds! You can Update your AAR Post with your points to keep track. Thanks for Playing!
  22. You've Been Awarded (5) Point(s): Judges Comments (not all judges comment): I always admire when people try to use plates diagonally versus trying to use slope pieces to change elevation. Your landscaping is not too bad, I would have maybe done something to break up the overall square look of everything by maybe throwing in some small plates. Another idea would be to maybe use some plates or slope pieces on the inside edges of the trench as they are never perfectly square. With guys constantly climbing in and out of them, they tend to round out real quick. Pictures aren't too bad, I would suggest working on your lighting and maybe a little photo editing to crop and adjust color. Otherwise, great job. Alrighty, great start! You show your side digging in to prepare for the fight. You clearly show geography and equipment, but you did leave out the map grid. You have your soldiers in a trench along with a howitzer, ready to do some fighting. A few suggestions if I may...solid color background is good, but try to not show a break between materials; use a sheet. Make sure you have plentry of light when taking your pics and be sure not to block that light. Pics using outside light look incredible. Feel free to build up that terrain using plates. Don't try to hide the flat plates below flora, it stands out; add some different colors of plates as well so it resembles all of the dirt that was dug up for the trench. I look forward to your future builds, keep it up! You can Update your AAR Post with your points to keep track. Thanks for Playing!
  23. You've Been Awarded (7) Point(s): Judges Comments (not all judges comment): Interesting story line. The cut outs for the rooms are very well done allowing the viewers inside to see what's going on. The rock work up the cliff face is good, sticking in the bamboo leaves was a nice touch. One of the rooms was extremely detailed where another seemed like it had nothing in it so I would go with a little more detailing there. Also, the texturing of the terrain up on the hill just looks a bit awkward to me. I am unsure if it is the color or the symmetry of it. Overall, this is solid. Great build! Geography and Equipment were clearly stated, along with a map grid. I see the story line veering off onto your secret projects...not sure how much of that is diging in and prepping for the fight. Good light on the exterior pics, but inside rooms were very difficult to view. Be sure as you detail a room, keep your detail level up or some rooms stand out much more than others, and that's because they look light! Overall, a very enjoyable build! 24. You've Been Awarded (8) Point(s): Judges Comments (not all judges comment): Troops are dug in, preparing to fight. You've shown geography and equipment. You listed a map and a grid square. This build is solid. SNOT building techniques, multiple levels, and creative Bomb Disposal Robots. Great Job! My only concern is the dark shadows cast from the dark blue background. Maybe try a light gray background? You can Update your AAR Post with your points to keep track. Thanks for Playing!
  25. You've Been Awarded (2) Point(s): Judges Comments (not all judges comment): Love the way you made the eagle pop out of the flag. Jet looks good and I look forward to seeing what you do with it when you have enough points for those missions. Not bad for part limitations. I would suggest altering the wings a bit for shape when you can. Presentation score was not too great . The runway had no finishing on it at all and the build wasn't too blocked off from other things around it. Work on your presentation a bit. Please note this build is being scored a little lower by me because the plane is the primary focus of the build. Had you had this in passing or in the background or something, it'd be different. Obviously it cannot be used for operations until the aerial missions are unlocked. Please be mindful of the point limitations. I like your jet, but the fact that you are not to build air power items for a few levels makes this build into a rule breaker. Looking at it though, creative build, good angles, Personally I see more F-18 than Raptor, but that's just me. When taking pictures, be sure to use a neutral background; no one really wants to see your dining room set. It looks to be on a runway or a strip of road...either way, your base should not be so small that it your main focus (the build) overhangs. You want your base to be supportive of your build, not as if it was a last second add on that you didn't have enough parts for. Please follow the guidelines of the game because I really liked this and would have scored it higher. You can Update your AAR Post with your points to keep track. Thanks for Playing!
