  1. You've Been Awarded ( 3) Point(s): Judges Comments (not all judges comment): This one was nice. It had a very simple approach but you kept it VERY clean. Some times not going overboard on detail goes a long way. The only thing I was a little skeptical about was how similar this looked to another player's prior build. Great Job. Good, basic build. I guess if anything, I would expect more details in the workshop, but overall, solid. I thought your pictures were very strong...darkness where there needed to be darkness, blurred backgrounds, and everything else well lit! A fine build with a good presentation, but nothing really stood out as unique or overly impressive. You can Update your AAR Post with your points to keep track. Thanks for Playing!
  2. Congrats to @sigpro on winning the most recent FRAGO Mission. You've been awarded a SpecOPs mission you have available to use until the end of Campaign 4. This does not mean you have that long to build it, you may be assigned a time limit to build it. You must contact a staff member (not this account) if and when you would like to be assigned your SPECOPS mission and one will be drawn up specifically for you. On a side note, the staff has noticed we've had several members drop out recently for various reasons. We will be working on actively recruiting for both sides in the near future. Should you have any concerns, please raise them with your team's staff member. Happy Hunting All!
  3. You've Been Awarded (1) Point(s): Judges Comments (not all judges comment): Not enough here for me to give you a better score. Your pictures show virtually nothing of what you've built aside from the minifigs. Take shots a little further out so we can actually see what you're building. For all I know, you may have some masterful elaborate landscape here but I can't see it. Also, when you post your photos, post them in a bigger size as well. We of course offer to help providing you tips yet again if you want to PM your teams Admin. DITTO!!! You can Update your AAR Post with your points to keep track. Thanks for Playing!
  4. You've Been Awarded (1) Point(s): Judges Comments (not all judges comment): Very Nice. Originally I though this was just a tiny build sitting on a baseplate, then I noticed it was a whole bunch of plates. The landing craft is very well detailed and looks very practically designed. Given all of that your score suffered due to the house being a creator set. One of our huge rules is that your build must be all original. You were not fully disqualified due to the landing craft being the focus of the build and the fact that this was a FRAGO with only limited time to build. That being said, be mindful of this in the future. I love this build! The simplicity of it and how it is right on point with what you are trying to convey. The LCAC is spectacular, a rescue team, the muddy water has risen up over the first floor of the house, water rushing past the traffic signals, trees...and a floating soccer ball! You did utilize an existing LEGO set, #31012 though for the house, and we kind of didn't want that as it was put in the rules. Due to it being a FRAGO, you weren't disqualified, but your points were heavily reduced. Please be aware for future builds, thanks. You can Update your AAR Post with your points to keep track. 5. You've Been Awarded (2) Point(s): Judges Comments (not all judges comment): Going large scale is not always the answer when it is at the expense of detail. Quite a few areas shoud have been consolidated to help stop the area from looking too bare. The things you did build are very nice. I would have liked to have seen better shots of the vehicles and inside the buildings to examine the detail. Nice Job. I think you may have bitten off more than you could chew. These are short, fast time frames for these builds so to see something this size was a surprise. I like the concept, tents/shelters/vehicles...but it is just too big! Condense everything, make more shelters, add the vehicles to the side or outskirts. Take a look at any tent city military compound; space is at a premium so everything is crammed together. I think a few more detailed shots of your specific builds would have been good too. Again, awesome plan/concept...I just feel that the area is too large to detail well in such a short time. That being said, keep up the good work! You can Update your AAR Post with your points to keep track. Thanks for Playing!
  6. @paintballman our ship sailed hours before your response. Sorry, but we are already on our way. Players have been sent their instructions.
  7. You've Been Awarded ( 2 ) Point(s): Judges Comments (not all judges comment): Nice and simple build. Your big grey plates are getting quite a workout. We apologize for the delay. You can Update your AAR Post with your points to keep track. Thanks for Playing!
  8. You've Been Awarded ( 4 ) Point(s): Judges Comments (not all judges comment): Massive.Massive. Very nicely done here. The only thing you are really missing is some more revealing photos. That aside, you've done an excellent job. Your design for the ship is very intricate. Being able to peer inside was an added bonus. Great Work! I can see you adding a few more things, but the detail count would go up and then it would become a campaign build, so I'm thinking the tools and all else are suffice. I like the cutaway, good to see you have a bit of an interior going on; it's jsut enough to make people want more. Maybe a few pics too many, but I won't hold that against you. Black is hard to photograph...like super hard to photograph. This is great all around!!! You can Update your AAR Post with your points to keep track. Thanks for Playing!
  9. You've Been Awarded ( 3 ) Point(s): Judges Comments (not all judges comment): Very nice. The detail in your builds is intriguing. I find myself sitting here combing over every inch of your build to see if there is some detail I missed the first time. I'd suggest doing a few more pictures just to show things from a different perspective and angle. Using too many pictures is bad, it overwhelms the post. But you only use one so feel free to adda close up or two. I think three pics, including an overview is a good number to work with. Great builds, show that detail to everyone close up! 10. You've Been Awarded ( 2 ) Point(s): Judges Comments (not all judges comment): Your vehicles are very nicely done. Good variety and they look well built. However, this to me is not really a build; you're just showing off your vehicles. Your build is titled "Pushing into Briolui" but you've built no landscaping. Presentation score is low because there is no scenery its just a vehicle showcase. You have LDD, no excuse. You can Update your AAR Post with your points to keep track. Thanks for Playing!
  11. You've Been Awarded ( 2 ) Point(s): Judges Comments (not all judges comment): You're rock work and ground work are nice. Good texture throughout. However, if you cut this thing down to 1/8 the size, its the same thing. You built one small panel and then copied it to make it look massive. No variation can be a little boring. Next time use varying details throughout to break up the monotony of the whole thing. You can Update your AAR Post with your points to keep track. Thanks for Playing!
  12. You've Been Awarded ( 2 ) Point(s): Judges Comments (not all judges comment): Nice and short build. Gets to the point and there is quite the point in this one. I would have liked to have seen more of the actual build as all we could really see are the minifigs strolling down the block and I can't give you a great score for that. Otherwise, nice job! SAME!!! It was cooked very well, but I needed more meat on the bone! You can Update your AAR Post with your points to keep track. Thanks for Playing!
  13. You do not currently possess the points to complete recon side builds. You were told this in PM and did not respond or edit the build in any way. The build is unscoreable for that reason. I'm sorry, but you must follow the rules like everyone else.
  14. This build is not scoreable. It is built around air operations which you have not unlocked. This was brought to your attention, and you did not respond. The build receives a score of zero. We are sorry as it wasn't a bad build, but the rules are in place for a reason.
  15. Message From the BON Secretary General- Due to the massive humanitarian crisis in Studica right now, the BON is requesting all willing nations to commit resources to a 4 day humanitarian aid and relief mission. Please have your ambassadors declare your intent here on the floor within the next 24 hours to join the mission. Details to follow only to those who apply. (SPECIFY WHICH PLAYERS FROM YOUR COUNTRY ARE PARTICIPATING)
  16. Congratulations to the COAC on victory for Campaign 2. Please discuss in your internal team chat which (2) Grid Squares you would like to focus your attention on for Campaign 3.
  17. You've Been Awarded ( 7 ) Point(s): Judges Comments (not all judges comment): YOU FINALLY RENDERED A BUILD. HELL HAS FROZEN OVER. Thank you for working to get this issue corrected. Your build is well done. You could have use a little more detailing in some areas versus going for sheer size. Overall, this is a very big step in the right direction. Thank you! I like where your build was going. You have an assault on a foot bridge. First off, everyone knows you never defend a bridge by standing on it if the bridge is blown, you die! But that's besides the point. The bridge has some detail, but the rest of the scene felt lacking. The water is too perfect; no rocks, no branches, no uneven shore. You do have "a" fish jumping, but to me, it felt like a quick way to cover up all of the rest of the baseplate. The bushes looked very trimmed for being along a riverbank...these things stand out in builds. Your rendering though, thank you. That makes your presentation go up considerably. Advice for the next campaign build...detail, detail, detail, detail, detail...you get the idea? You have unlimited bricks, in unlimited colors; You should be owning this game with what you have available to you! And start earlier! This excuse of I was rushed is just terrible! Our flaws are on us as individuals, no one else should take the blame! You can Update your AAR Post with your points to keep track. Thanks for Playing!
  18. You've Been Awarded (8 ) Point(s): Judges Comments (not all judges comment): The bullet holes in the wall.... nice touch. You displayed your border very nicely. Your bias use of the BBN was a littttttle bit on the unsafe side, but it did not effect my score. You littered the ground with debris and bodies, always a nice choice. Very Nice! You can Update your AAR Post with your points to keep track. Thanks for Playing!
  19. You've Been Awarded ( 6) Point(s): Judges Comments (not all judges comment): Interesting to see where you've taken the story. For what you have here, it is very nice. Ultimately, we definitely want to see more from you. Your presentation is definitely getting better. Keep it up. Great job on the tank! I like how you have the men patrolling the streets with support from the tank; that's exactly how it's supposed to be! I felt the scene was built well, but it looked to clean. No damage, no debris, roads and walkways are just too unmarked! Details are good, but don't forget to throw on the messy details as well. Also, watch those dark spots...there were a few in here, made it tough to see some of the shots. Otherwise, I like where your builds are going! 20. You've Been Awarded ( 7 ) Point(s): Judges Comments (not all judges comment): The howitzers are brilliant! as noted in your sidebuilds, the interchangeable tops is genius. Well done. I also like the addition of the mountaintop build for overwatch, a very nice touch. The base with the howitzers could have used something to vary it a bit from the side builds, maybe some landscaping. Overall, a major improvement. Good Work! Add more change to your baseplates, they still look almost identical to the side builds. I see you have 12 different ones, just add some more plates on some, remove plates from others; It's a building game so build! Your SPG looks good. Your plan to reuse the chassis on multiple builds is good, that's something the Soviets did in WWII with many of their heavy tanks (SU series, KV series, IS-2) Careful with your lighting, your observation post comes out very dark when you took the pics. It probably just needed more light on it, but it was like a cave surrounded by flora. Couldn't see into the middle due to the shadows. Good builds, story is progressing well. 21. You've Been Awarded ( 6) Point(s): Judges Comments (not all judges comment): Very large build. The APC looks very cool and original. I do have to question the GAU though, in reality those are literally bigger than a VW. You put a lot of time into this. I would try to minimize the flatness of the plates a bit or add features like sidewalks or something break up the monotony of just plates on top of base plates in the open. Nice Job.! There is a lot going on here, maybe too much? I like the bushes, the barriers, and the APC. That APC has an ugly camo pattern, and I love that! I see vehicles parked, men walking, a bunker in a mountain, drone vehicles, surrendering soldiers, crumbled checkpoint, a cruise missle launch( which isn't yours). There is just way too much going on in this, and this is my opinion, you can disagree, but I think you actually have 2 different displays going on here...or events for that matter. Your detail is good, a little too good. 30 millimeter and .30 caliber are two very different dimensions, and as this is not sci-fi, I'm going to have to call you out on the remote control GAU/8 drone. No way possible. Maybe an M134, which is a .30 caliber minigun. Your Pegasus, it sports an M1919, which is a .30 cal machine gun. Same on the APC, .30 cal M1919. I'm sure you know this already and it may just be an oversight, but it's something I noticed as soon as I saw your build. You can Update your AAR Post with your points to keep track. 22. You've Been Awarded (7 ) Point(s): Judges Comments (not all judges comment): The highlight of this detail is level of detail among the small things. The SAM and the barricade look very nice. For the future, I'd work on varying the terrain a bit. Make some elevation changes. Vary your colors a bit. The vehicle looks a little off dimensionally. Definitely a nice build overall. First build, this is great! Way to start off with a great effort here!!! Vehicle, troops, encampment; lots of bits in this. If I may...Proportion of the Humvee looking vehicle looks a bit large? Nothing wrong with it, just an observation. I really like the SAM launcher trailer. It's so simple that it is perfect. If anything, I may have added a lil bit more of a stabilizer so it wouldn't flip over when fired. Terrain is a different level of the road, many people forget to do this. Good idea, maybe have a slight pit for the SAM launcher to be backed into...lower profile, harder to hit? Also, maybe have a pit for the makeshift bunker? The netting overhead was a sweet touch! Lot of potential in this and am stoked to see future builds! You can Update your AAR Post with your points to keep track. Thanks for Playing!
  23. You've Been Awarded ( 10 + 4 Bonus) Point(s): Judges Comments (not all judges comment): Holy..... Wow. more of the quality we've come to expect from you. this is truly remarkable! The amount of detail poured into this is just insane. Everywhere I look, Detail! I'm supposed to tell you what to do better, but you've nailed it better than I could. WELL DONE! VERY detailed. Custom tank is slick. The story unfolds, and the destruction is apparent! I like the attention to figure detail, with the damage the men took and how the nurse is tending to his wounds. The multiple defense positions are pretty well detailed as well. Lookouts, Mk 19 grenade launcher, TOW rocket launcher, .50 cal on the jeep. Excited to see where the next level of these campaigns will go! You can Update your AAR Post with your points to keep track. Thanks for Playing!
  24. You've Been Awarded ( 6) Point(s): Judges Comments (not all judges comment): Nice vehicle. the landscaping could use a little work. maybe some elevation variation and a smoother transition color wise. nice job. No need to cover yourself for time...when you do that, you are saying you yourself are not happy with it. Small vehicle, smaller scene, but you have some details. Missile launcher on a mobile truck platform, looks good. Soldiers, you are using what you have available to you, excellent. The trees are outstanding! I like the thin frailness of them...but there are only 2 of them. The landscape littered with these would be amazing. Transition from snow to grass is a lil too clean for you...make it dirty. You can Update your AAR Post with your points to keep track. Thanks for Playing!
  25. You've Been Awarded ( 9 ) Point(s): Judges Comments (not all judges comment): Wow that Tank! Your choice of colors is very unique and works Soo well. The build is so simple but you made it flow so cleanly it appears like an elaborate masterpiece. Truly a nice Job. If I could suggest something, it'd be to take this further now that you've shown us you're capable. Jump into a more varied landscape, build higher... Basically show me more because I like it. Beautiful. Pure destruction, messy combat, dirty terrain, FLAMES!!!! This is great, I was literally looking at the pics for minutes. Couple of shadows, which are tough because it's already a darkly terrained scene. Thank you, I really enjoyed this build. You can Update your AAR Post with your points to keep track.
