1. I am planning to use the standard large motorcycle wheels and with four I am hoping this will be 4x the torque?? I don't know... but I think it is worth a try ( :
2. I am quite a novice at this and have very little equipment for filming my Nexus 6 Phone that takes nice pics and videos for filming and a few desk lamps. (I want to spend my money on LEGO) I have found that my shots taken inside I can never get enough light into them for them to look good. I end up shooting them in my tiny yard, this makes my shots very limited. I found that shooting them in the afternoon around 1 - 2 pm allows the light to be the most bright and not overly shadowy! I have forchenetly just gotten Adobe Premere / After Affects So I have started to edit with those
3. Cool, Great Build... I have great respect for you designing everything in LDD... 3D modeling takes forever ( :
4. I have also been thinking about doing something simalar to this, Planning to get a few of the new pull back motors of bricklink so I'll have 4 of the same kind and attach them. I hope this will provide the speed I need. It seems like it should work quite well as I will not need to carry the 6 batteries. What exactly were you thinking?
5. ( : -> No no Pneumatic Either... I am planning to use Pull back and go motor(s). Have a great weight to speed ratio ( I think???)
6. This is a great topic, I am trying to build the fastest All Lego, No Motors Car. I want to know if any one else has tried to do this, I would like to know about other peoples top speeds
7. I am aware that there are positives and negitives of the different pi's but this one is the only one I have!
8. Thanks I have an interesting robot that I am almost done with, It can take infomation from a hosted website to then send the infomation to the mindstorm brick
9. The Pi 3 model B has buit in WiFi so I am working on making It hosting a website. I am going to use that then to collect data for a real project and not just an demonstration. Also do you know why my video does not work?? Thanks
10. Hello, This is my first MOC post here on Eurobricks so forgive me if I make newbee mistakes. Here's my fancy little diagram that's shows you how it works!! This is a an idea I am hoping to expand in the future to do some actually cool stuff ( : Firstly you need to enter the infomation you want to move the motor on the Raspberry Pi (the direction and the amount of degrees). Here is a little 3d render of it. The motor rotates the amount you specify and the color sensor on the right side senses if the Rasberry Pi's LED. For the instructions, more infomation and all of the things you need to set this up and build it for yourself come to my website: http://bostonsbrickcloset.blogspot.com/ Video: Not sure why the vid does not work ) : Links for the images: (for Creative Commons) https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Lego-mindstorms-ev3.jpg https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Raspberry-Pi-3-Flat- Top.jpghttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Raspberry_Pi_Logo.svg
