  1. After normal school and such, I took a nap :-$ Got nice and rested up for the concert at an icebowling fest with my friend Nathan and his brother. Was a good show, we left after the second set because of all the obnoxious drunk people, but some of them were quite funny. :-$ Then we were walking back to the parking lot, a random big school bus filled with people stopped for us, opened its doors. We got on anyway. Well wherever it was going we're gonna be there :-D Ended up riding around for abit with the gang in there till it took the run back and we stopped it at the parking lot. Then drove back, and here I am. Back is sore, ears ring, but was a fun fun time, as always ;-)
  2. Exo force got me started back to lego too, the sentai fortress, afew months ago - I couldn't resist the orange *wub* Great big collection you got there. But, but!... No 2008 stuff? How can you miss out on the Assault Tiger! I have to say it's my favourite, most easy to play with, mecha yet :'-(
  3. Whoah. New to me. Sound very cool - I wonder what they'll look like, can't wait for them pics :-$
  4. Billy Joel - We Didn't Start The Fire
  5. Saw SpiderMan 2, in honor of just seeing SpiderMan 3 abit ago :-$ I'm tempted to watch them both again, I like em :-$
  6. A great film I watched awhile ago, probably, actually, undoubtedly, the best lego film I've ever seen. Great work and worthy of the bump it was given. :-$
  7. Why is your work so underrated around these forums? This is damn amazing. 8-
  8. Thanks for the news, knew it was coming, but still don't know when. I definately need to get my hands on this set the second time around :-$ Coming soon status is a good sign..
  9. Hahah. The gears are excellent. One of the few lego things to actually get a quick chuckle out of me :-$
  10. I'm thinking so aswell. You can see plainly that not all bricks are evenly pressed down (Green passenger car roof). The shineyness probably comes from the all white backround. You know it's a good picture or digital designer when you can't tell easily if it's real or not :-$
  11. I recently got one of these too, thanks to my brother *wub* It's now hanging proudly on my new set of keys :-$
  12. X-O Now that's alot of cute little penguins. I don't even haveone, heh *wacko* Nice lil collection.
  13. Exactly what I'm confused about, some of them look utterly real, other only have small suddleties that you can pick them out from *wacko* I'm still confused, are all of them Cadded, or what? That aside, I especially like the crane design. Looks lovely *wub*
  14. My thought's exactly. If I could get a minifig scale mega battle cruiser ship, I would simply be ecstatic. I'd even for 500 bucks, Id take it *wub*
  15. I've been trying to get myself to sort for months, but every time I want to spend time with my lego, I just end up making another moc :-$ Such slow process. It's basically nothing but an idea now, I just hope I can get myself to eventually.
  16. The simplicity and originality makes it easy on the eyes, yet funny at the same time, I like it Mr. Sly *wub*
  17. Spiderman 3. I enjoyed it quite thouroughly.
  18. I've always wondered what happens to store displays at Target and ToysRus and such. I always think man, they better not throw those away or something :'-( I'd pay something for them, even if they are riddled in hot glue :-$ Does anyone know from any experience or actually asking? :-$
  19. I do see the possibilities with a Halo line, but just think of how much that liscense would cost, yeesh :'-( And also, as we haven't had any full out war related sets, as in tanks and dropships (out of the star wars line), then it would be a nother step for lego there. I imagine it would sell great, but I just can't see it happening - The prime time would've been when Halo 3 was coming out, or Halo wars even. As for Mario, which I keep seeing coming up, I feel this could be very limited, personally. A whole Nintendo liscense might be more keen to me, but I'm not so interested in it frankly. I'm still all for Lego-made themes. Doesnt have to be a liscense. The theme could still relate, though, just like how Jonny Thunder was the wannabe Indiana Jones :-$ Thats my few cents I have to give ;-)
  20. I've been fiddling with the idea of how to build a lego 'Tesla Coil'. Anyone familiar with teh Command and Conquer games will know what I mean, and im not entirely sure how to build one out of lego. Maybe Id be better off building a Tesla Tank.
  21. Frankly I have yet to order from Lego PickaBrick. I feel that Bricklink is better in so many ways (Usually) That you can get any part you need, and the same parts for even cheaper. They also have no purple or dark purple bricks in PaB. Hence, It is useless to me for now :-P The only thing I would be interested in would be the 3 leafed plants and the food objects, but I can get those along with many other purple parts and minifigs I actually need, at a store I've been scoping out *wub*
  22. Gosh, this set is amazing *wub* I am no city junky anymore, but all the amazing details and peices could be useful in so many other areas aswell. Astounding detail and accuracy. Brilliant, thank you for such an informative review.
  23. G'day, hope you find your welcome warm, and enjoy the forums, hope to see you around the boards :-$ Although I am not a castle builder, I have to say, Castle would be my next option after military or space. I have a great respect for huge castles and brilliant setups in the castle theme. I love to gander at them time to time, but I'm just no castle builder at this point. Perhaps ill try it out one day :-P
  24. I grew up on the ninja theme, I have the big fortress and everything, opened up awesome new minifigures, and the ever popular ninja scarf.. thing, and oh, the katanas.. :-$ To me they were a definate hit. Would love some revamped ones.
  25. Frankly it's the best to-scale tumbler I've ever seen, but I'm just cautious to ask, as this could make or break it for me, can it atleast fit a minifigure? :-$ Excellent job sculpting the angled feel of it.
