  1. Unfortunately I don't think the Lego Company would ever make any referance to any kind of religion :-$ Toy's shouldn't spark debates or seeing the differences in people, lego brings people togeather by that of having a common intrest, no matter the theme :-P My money is on pirates out of the options mentioned, but frankly, I hope it is a theme that none of us ever expected or imagined, so it was an utter surprise :-$
  2. The 69 Eyes - Perfect Skin
  3. There seems to be alot of confusion over the head origins. It's somewhat rare really. But it's not vikings. Actually it comes from this ever rare racer's set - I only know because I have it. :-$ You can actually see the helmet from the set in my sigfig. Cool thing. I have almost every 4 Dollar racer's set simply because at one point in time I had an amazing fascination with custom helmets that came in only one set, and I wanted them all. The cool colored wheels were a nice bonus too. Anyhow.. Sorry for being a knowitall :-$
  4. This is just one big single sided arguement *wacko* Frankly might've been abit mean at first, politness can go a long way. Even though we all have our own favourite shows - They all don't make great lego themes to everyone, this is why generally themes are strayed away from, unless intensely popular, like star wars, or harry potter. TLC doesn't like to gamble, ever since galidor. So, frankly, I just don't see it happening, which in my mind isn't bad, sorry :-$
  5. The 'mystery' model uses my favourite canopy peice, can't wait to see the rest of that *wub* The base looks really good too, and I wonder what other models are in the skull's set. I like both the torso's aswell, I won't complain about stickers. Thanks for the link.
  6. Quite interesting, listened to them both. Make me anticipate the theme all the more, can't wait to see pictures and everything, thanks for the links. *wub*
  7. A Tale of Two Cities is currently being forced upon me by school :-$
  8. Butthole Surfers - Who Was In My Room Last Night? Cool band really :-$
  9. I really like this vig, good idea and well done, but if anything, some more detail down the shaft would've been nice, like making it nice rocky and kinda rough, but I don't wanna be too nitpickey, I've never done a vig for you to blast me on :-$ Good stuff.
  10. I just saw Good Luck Chuck again, it's just as funny the second time because you notice more of the hidden things that play through the whole movie, like I missed out on the grapefruit parts before and didnt connect it with prior things, but this time I did, for example. Very funny, although filled with pleanty of not Pg-13 stuff.
  11. Thanks very much everyone *wub* I've also just created it's mocpages site, feel free to stop by and rate or review, I really appreciate *wub* Thanks all
  12. Frankly I really want to get my hands on this book. It sort of remindes me of the other popular lego book, but this one seems a whole lot more refined and specified at the sets - Which I take great intrest to especially. I really want to take a look at the older space line and such. I am a maniac at just looking and searching and memorizing (unintentionally) set numbers and everything, special elements they include, etc.. At the peak of my legoing hype I could name off almost any space set number I bet X-D Good or bad thing, you decide.. I will be getting this book, eventually.
  13. I guess I was going for a more cartoonish look rather than realistic battlefront :-$ If I wanted a precise relaistic war machine, I'dve built a modern tank, but you already see many of those built :-P Probably should have mentioned that. There also seems to be alot of fret at the colors - I guess I don't entirely understand but that's oke :-$ All grey and afew sand green, a battle marking checkerboard and a purple hood decoration thing, isn't all that randomized? 8-| Just alittle flare ;-) The entire thing is mostly dark bley - All dark bley would just be boring, and then people would want more color X-D Just can't find a medium :-P But thanks all! I appreciate the critisizm, beyond the colors ;-)
  14. That's ironic, as my last tank also got the same comment, and funny thing is, I've never played the game :-$
  15. Good article, heh :-$ He created some of my very favourite sets it seems 8-
  16. Welcome! Glad to have another member, we have members from all over the world and all kinds of languages, don't worry about any minor english troubles ;-) Hope you enjoy your stay
  17. Brunt means 'A main force or impact' so I thought it was a pretty good match for a heavy battle tank :-$ And color scheme? :-D Whats wrong with alittle sand green and purple tints X-D Gotta have some color :-P I just like to use rare colors that sit around, so here seemed a good little place to use em :-$ Thank you though for your comment X-D
  18. Well, lately if you have noticed atall, I havn't had any new moc's atall :-( (Like anyone did notice, wishful thinking huh? X-D ) Well anyway, one day it led me to think of what I could try new, and I built off of wanting to use treads again. So I did, but I wanted a new menacing look, so hence, a new track layout persued. I also wanted to retry the previously used cockpit technique. So I did. I wanted it big, menacing, and armed to the teeth. In fact, this tank kinda has teeth, and a nice big grin. Take a look ;-) After a moc I actually designed and tried quit hard on.. Big metal grin, imposing front tracks, nice pokey infantry shanking bottom, nice cockpit, and a hint of purple. I like it! :-$ Taking some previous advice, I actually added abit of detail and addons this time. I used a (new to me) Vent technique on the side here, my nice checkered pattern design again, and some chains on the chain gun as some added flare. I love the big gun this time, but am dissapointed alittle in my overused rocketlauncher technique. :-| Using this track formation presented me of having to form the ouside edges to it. But in the end I love how it all looked *wub* Some extra detail in back. Extra treads, a random chain, some.. boards.. yeah. And some gold! Not every picture needs a caption. I also tried an asymetric look this time. Cockpit slightly off centre, no gun in the complete middle, and I think it gives it a very menacing look, kindof crowded, deadly, and in a way, cartoonish. Open cockpit shot Extra overall shot for good measure. So. I hope you liked it, I tried hard on this one! :-$ Almost studless, new details, new techniques, new style, I like it, and hope you do :-$ I have no Mocpages for it yet. Any comments, critisizm.. Anything, are highly praised :-$ Thanks guys.
  19. Disturbed - Stupify
  20. Frankly sounds like a great contests and can't wait to see everyones entries, but I have no Idea what I'd build for it :-$ I'll enter if I can get any inspiration ;-)
  21. Seeing as it says 'The Elflands' Right there, it looks elf enough for me :-$ Great stuff. Can't wait to see what lego comes up with for them, hope its good X-O
  22. The tree is among the best I have ever seen - The rest is astounding aswell. I think it is truly underestimated at how hard it is to landscape cliffs - This is a perfect example of greatness here. The snow is very well done - I really like the part where the snow is almost falling off in a drift to the upper left. Good find *y*
  23. I always compare lego to other peoples hobbys, if they give me crap for spending money on legos. People have their hobbies and likes, leave them to it, like if your wife buys an expensive dress or pair of shoes, thats the only excuse you need to get some new legos? :-P Anywho! Welcome to Eurobricks Jason :-) Hopw you find it friendly and enjoyable here, welcome to the community ;-)
  24. Happy Birthday Guys ;-)
