  1. Although I have TLG's snowspeeder and am fully aware of the in-universe variant, I wasn't fully aware of the sheer difference between the two. I'll probably adopt your cockpit mod; it looks great!
  2. Looks very good! May I ask where this ship is from? I'm not too familiar with EU
  3. It is looking really good so far! Seeing that you want some help with the wings, I would suggest a significant re-shaping. If you have it, use the rogue one visual dictionary, if not, google images should do. But to put it simply, they need to be longer, narrower and straighter. :)
  4. I agree woth Kris. Although I love the concept and have always wanted to try it myself, I think there is room for improvement. No such 'grass ripples' are seen in the movie, however, I would incorporate the hill that the droid army appeared over. This shouldnt be too hard and it would really add to the scene. Also, may i suggest different AATs, the old LEGO set looks very dated and could do with a replacement, MOC/MOD or even the 2014 version. I look forward to seeing your progress.
  5. I've been following this topic since day 1, and I have to say...it looks amazing...and the fact it's your first moc too amazes me
  6. Is the UCS B-wing minifig scale or larger? I've awlays liked the look of the set but it strikes me as much larger than minifig scale
  7. I love it! Some really interesting techniques in a relatively small build
  8. http://m.imgur.com/yXahdcG Try this pic, a few good angles there :)
  9. I like it so far, however, if you have removed the dropping bombs, I see no reason to remove the mechanism itself, including the technic 'buttons' on the back.
  10. I like it, inspired me to try one myself :)
  11. This seems pretty familiar with the topic 'Updatig your Star Wars minifigs'. I'd check that out if I were you
  12. I love both Sato and Ashoka in 75158, shame the set itself is terrible. I might buy them separately too
  13. Thank you! I should have more update pictures after the weekend.
  14. Looks really good, a lot better than Legos. However, I think you've ended up with the wings looking a bit too 'straight'...other than that it's very good
  15. I like it! I've always wanted to try something similar myself after TLGs poor attempt, and you might have just motivated me!
  16. My apologies, I'll have a look later to see if I can try this
  17. Thank you! I will have to check his out as I've run into a few problems myself :) Thank you! Didn't realise your venatot was your first, in which case I'm very impressed. Unfortunately I'm unable to test with real bricks because I'm at university so I'm unsure how structurally sound it is at the moment...I'll have to wait till Easter till I can answer that ;) Thank you both very much!
  18. Hello again, Eurobricks! I decided for my second MOC I'd dive in the deep end, the easiest way to learn, right? So I thought that the hammerhead would be a good choice being such an iconic ship in the canon Star Wars universe now. I will be updating this topic when any noticable progress is made, which may be a while because this quite a large project for me. This is where I am so far...I've taken a break due to the rear section being the most difficult. Any comments and suggestions are welcome! Thank you!
  19. I'm amazed at the scale and accuracy you are working with here. I remember when this topic started and I can't wait to see the finished result
  20. Yeah alright...we both posted at the same time...i wasn't replying to you
  21. Look at Brickvault's new video. Another piece of evidence towards a UCS millenium Flacon, albeit a small piece of evidence.
  22. Thank you! For the grey parts I was trying to replicate the in-universe version. I couldn't find a better way to do this so I settled with the method. I'll have another revision of it though. Thank you, Ellis! It means a lot that you like my MOC. I have to agree that the rest section needs work, I might comeback to it later when I have learned some new techniques to tackle this portion. Thank you!
  23. Hello Eurobricks! I present to you my first ever topic and my first everMOC! I tried to create something simple to ease my way into the world of MOCs. Being a lover of clone wars i thought this was a good place to start. The build turned out to be very challenging, especially since I was using LDD, but i'm happy with the result. The basic ring design is inspired by Swan Dutchman's Jedi Interceptor and Booster Ring. The Interceptor is LEGO's own release. The rest is of original design. It comes to about 1300 pieces including the fighter, so I don't plan on building this in real bricks. Any criticism or otherwise is welcome, thank you for viewing! Jamie
  24. I have to agree! This creation is one of your best, nerdyone, would be willing to pay for the file too!
  25. I love it! One of the most beautiful looking x-wings I've seen. I love the studies look, and the structural integrity is a bonus!
