  1. So there is a PDF but no physical book if that’s what you are looking for. The PDF is kinda hard to come by because Christian ran into some sort of (legal issue... I think) developing these products. PM me if you have any questions about the PDF
  2. I believe that Brickvault may still have the instructions, if not I might be able to assist.
  3. Mirko, Please put me on whatever waitlist you have, this will go great with my K2SO! As always your creations are fantastic! James
  4. Yes, there is a 3L or 4L Pin running down the center (can’t remember which)
  5. You can also try https://www.brickeconomy.com for current values (both new and used). Not sure if you have FB marketplace in the UK but it is also another avenue for selling, just be prepared for individuals trying to low ball your requested selling price.
  6. Great job on this MOC! I have been working on changes to the UCS version (Primarily focused on eliminating the visible gears/gaps for the wings) but have been running into severe weight issues w/ the wings . Do you have any pictures detailing the drive mechanism?
  7. Pete, I placed my IR receivers facing out the sides while using some color matching transparent plates... probably not the ideal placement but it still works. The setup for the lighting was never detailed in the instructions so i just came up with my own solution.
  8. Okay, so here are two pictures showing the location of the interior light setup in the cockpit... sorry it would have been a challenge to get the lights working because the Crawler is currently in storage. As you can see they are the Lego LEDs.
  9. Unfortunately I’m unable to find any of my stored pictures on Flickr, I will try to take some new ones. Are you just looking for where i put the lights or are you wanting to see how exactly it was wired?
  10. Rob, Thanks for interest in my mods, unfortunately I have lost a lot of data from my computer and no longer have those files. The shuttle has been torn apart and I’m attempting to rebuild here in the near future but for right now it’s in storage until after we move in November. You might be able to contact some of the other members that I sent them to and see if they still have them. James
  11. Yeah still suffering with weight issues, I’m interested to hear what you have come up with.
  12. ok, its been awhile but I think i may have figured out my motorized wing configuration. I still haven’t attached any weight to it yet but I was able to utilize the worm gear which should help out with the torque needed to lift the wings. I’ll provide an update as soon as I complete the test.
  13. Mirko, Another fantastic build, the amount of detail is brilliant especially for a vehicle that got so little screen time... Bellissimo!
  14. Whatever it is I’m sure it will be awesome.
  15. Yeah it was a fantastic build... definitely recommend.
  16. If you look at his site there is a blurred image. I just saw what looked like the upright wings and the orange belly (cargo container). I hope it’s not the Zeta as I already built Cavegods Cavegod just completed his AT-M6 and it has like 24K pieces... Now that’s a lot of DB Gray pieces!
  17. Mirko, If I was to guess I would say the blurred out image for SB00501 is a Zeta Class Shuttle... “So much DB gray!"
  18. Can't wait... after the K project I’m hooked!
  19. This AT-AT has no interior, there is only technic beams for structure and stiffening.
  20. If funds are not an issue using sites like the ones you mention definitely simplify the process... especially for some of the models that you mention (parts availability). But if you are worried about time searching on Bricklink you can always use the quick buy feature which does the searches for you when you upload the part list to you wanted items. I Have never looked at the websites you mentioned until today, definitely nice to have everything in one package but of you pay a premium for that service. Best of luck, hope you find something that best suits your situation.
  21. You may want to contact Christian to see if he can help you out.
  22. if you purchased the instructions from Christian you are provided the update.
  23. Mirko, I figured that you had tried several options before deciding on the white circular plates, I’m sure I will decide to stick with your original design because it truly captures K2SOs look. Again fantastic model, now I wish I didn’t procrastinate on the “U”project.
  24. Here is my K2SO. Still need to get the minifig but everything else is complete... Thank you Mirko this is an excellent MOC! I will definitely be looking forward to your next project. I am trying something different with the eyes instead of using the white circle plates, I have some translucent smoke ones on order so I’ll see how they look when they get in
