I guess over the years we will see a large bunch of Control+ models in the app. Candidates are construction vehicles, cars (simple driving/steering) and maybe forest vehicles. It is just a matter of time when we see a large forest vehicle with Control+

If somebody does it, it is a MOC and not an official B-model. And nope there is no official B-model for this set at the back of box.

'cause it is Control+, there is no B-model for this set. We are lucky if 42112 and 42113 has one...

I miss the old days where models have one motor and battery pack to control many functions with cool gearboxes. Today, RC is everywhere. Lots of electronics makes models unnecessary expensive. Its a shame that 42109 uses 4 port hub with only 2 motors even the 2 port hub exists. This is waste of money and ressources. It's like you have a 4 port carport at home, but you know there are always 2 cars to park. A customer can try to put new lights to the 2 spare ports, but the app can not handle it. Technic has lost his key feature. The only gearboxes we have are in (display)cars to switch gears for boring fake engines. Technic was much better than yet.

RC-models with smart-hub and smart device are difficult to use gearbox, because the smart device does not know which function is selected. Imagine a simple case, two functions A and B in gearbox with a button A and a button B on the app interface. The app does not really know if the model has indeed function A in the gearbox selected when touching button A. App interfaces are designed that one specific task drives one specific function/motor. Otherwise with gearboxes, each function must perform exactly the same task, independently of which function in the gearbox is selected. 8479 was such a model, but for larger models with many functions and RC, this seems too crazy. I think in future RC-sets, we will see one motor for each function, independently of which model it is.

Or he is just a guy with deep visions :D But, the appearence of 3x5x6 seat-panel in red an 5L liftarm thin in red may indicates that another red set is coming - and we hev not much red in 1H sets, that's indicates UCS in red as well. Btw, for me there is no logical reason why the crane has no B-model. I'm not happy with TLGs strategy.
