  1. The 42112 has 13 studs wide cabin (15 with mudguards in total). This is great and good to see the "older" truck scale is coming back, matching 42008 or 42024 perfectly, asuming that is Alfreds work
  2. Bentley seems very likely, more luxury instead sporty in dark tan
  3. It is indeed a great parts pack and inspiration for own creations
  4. We are talking about a set with such color issues and a 1:1 copy of the Bugatti gearbox with no new Innovation for 380 Euros! Really?
  5. The shading issue appears on ALL official images and vidoes for now. Maybe it is fixed in later productions. Sending all pins with pinhole and axle with pinhole in the correct color to all their customers to replace them would be fun for TLG
  6. Send it back. This is a no-go and pure shame in such a price tag. Maybe later produced sets for stores will do better
  7. Iam not allowed to post pictures here. I will update my webpage with information and pictures soon. Here is a link to picture that inspired me. http://klekamp-us-truck.com/klekamp-gallery/albums/kenworth-w900l-abschleppwagen-bj-1998/content/001-11/
  8. Feel free to check my 42108 alternate build at https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-43434/timtimgo/american-tow-truck-42108-alternate-build/#comments I've not created a dedicated topic yet 'cause all information is on rebrickable for now.

  10. The finished model looks great, no question about that, but the inner is too much color. I can't believe that this is a satisfying build because all colors are very bright. Reminds me to childrens garden.
  11. Iam the only one who think that for 18+ this set is ugly colorful like a playground for 5 years old?
  12. overall the model looks very good, but there is nothing realy new and innovative that makes stunning. It is indeed the same as bugatti and using the same gearbox is a bit poor. The time spent developing this model was for the overall design, but not for the functions. So I think the Chiron was more time consuming than the Sian. It feels a bit like a copy, removing negatives aspects like hidden gearbox and stickers.
  13. all printed, unboxing does not show any sticker sheet
  14. Looking at official store images, there are clearly two shades of lime green visible. Thats a "known production problem".
  15. First of all the designer is Uwe and he is shy in front of camera. Second there is stil Corona alert everywhere. I do not expect any big reveal event like two years before.
  16. Only parts with Lamborghini logo are prints (including brake part). Others are stickers. Its is clearly visible in the pictures.
  17. The logo on the lime 2x2 tile in the back is a print, we can asume that alll Lambo logos are prints, and all others are stickers. At the long picture taking the model apart it seems that there is the Defender Wheelarch in lime on the right side, but i can't spot them in the model.
  18. It seems that there are no stickers. I guess the 2L beam with Lambo logo is a print
  19. I thougth it is only possible to travel to the island as a winner by lottery
  20. Yes, this would mean that this new arches are not SIAN-exclusive and will appear in future sets. Otherwise there is no need for those holes.
  21. On the 42115 image you can clearly see that top corner pin holes of the arches are empty and not connected - both in front and back
  22. The surprise new wheelarch has pin holes on top left and top right that are not used in the model. The panel is fixed only at side pins. This could be the first mould with pin holes that are not really neccessary for the model they made for.
  23. Speculating about the designer, my bet is Michael T. as the lead designer for this 42115.
