Blacktron

That's one of the coolest Exoforce MOCs that I've seen in the last few years. And it is good to see, there are still EF fans out there. I miss it very much myself. But I also have to agree with brickmack: I'm not sure about the fangs either. Everything else on the front is a cool design.

I love insect designs on all kinds of vehicles. Your Bumblebee is a great example. Good job.

Very good job, John Carstairs! I like your MOCs very much. Very inspiring and well done. Now I'ts even harder for me, to avoid buying the new dino hunter sets. My favorite one is the T-Rex. This really gives me an 80s flashback, because I've collected the toyline, when I was a child. Did you buy the dino hunter sets, or did you find the dinos on bricklink? It must have been pretty expensive to make those great MOCs.

I'd love to see a revival of blacktron. Backstory could be: Just when the universe has forgotten about them, Blacktron returns, stealing technology and spying on peaceful human fractions (based on classic space) and aliens. Combining the most advanced technology of both worlds in their new ships, blacktron becomes a real thread to peaceful space exploration. For Wave 2 of the sets the humans could create a new elite Space Marines unit to protect their ships and bases. So Wave 2 would be Blacktron VS. Space Marines, with all kinds of mechs, ground- and space-vehicles. This would be an awesome lineup.

What the world needs now is pink air tanks.

Thanks very much for your feedback, guys. @charlieboy: Yup, the nova crawler is the alternate model of 7712 Supernova. I loved this crawler from the first moment I saw it. And I always wanted to see it in black. There are only slight modifications on the windscreen, legs and back end on my crawler. I will use this cockpit design for 2 new MOCs. It became something like the "standart neo blacktron cockpit design" for my larger vehicles. Also I'd like to build a heavier version of this tank, with a gun tower on top. Thats why I called this version the command version. @Dr Nightmare: I'm not sure I can tell much about their features. You can open the back section of the alienator models, just like the classic alienator. I think all other features are visible on the pics. Oh, and I forgot to write that the alienator command version isn't completed yet. If you take a closer look, there are some parts missing. Sorry about that.

Hi! I've found some time to "finish" some more of my Neo Blacktron MOC line. I did some outdoor pics of them and I hope you them. There will be some more MOCs, so I will update this thread in the future. Neo Blacktron Alienator: A light walker, based on the classic Alienator from Blacktron I. Neo Blacktron Command Tank:A heavy walking attack tank. This is my improved version of it. I've modified the legs. Neo Blacktron Command Alienator:A heavier command version of the Alienator, with claws and more firepower. Neo Blacktron Scout Crawler:This light scout crawler is simply a Nova Crawler, a Exo Force alternative model, build in Neo Blacktron Colors.

I love it. Bike and figure are both a work of art.

Thanks darthnihilius. It is amazing how much the light can make the difference. I got some bricks in old dark grey myself but I always felt it's hard to spot the difference between Old dark grey and dark bluish grey. But a combination of those two colours in this light is pretty impressive effect.

I love it. The design, the colors, the futuristic style - it's awesome. What is the colour of this 03-Slope? Dark Tan? It looks really good in combination with Dark bluish grey and sand green.

I like it. This thing could be some kind of reconnaissance drone for a space fraction.

I think you are right. The space marine is my favorite figure of this wave, but if this is really a faceprint and not a printed visor, then he's not a good army builder. I love the fact that he has a classic space logo on his shoulder and the Alien conquest gun looks cool in black. I think this new space helmet is a very intersting design. I wish we could see it from all angles. I'm looking forward to the first real review to get a better view of it. I would say, I hope we will see this helmet again in other colors, but first I'd like to know if it's possible to atach a visor or not. The rest of the wave is okay, but not great. I like the Aztec warrior, the computer nerd, the hippie and the black knight. For my taste, the rest is rather boring. I'm into the Space and Classic monster figures. So it is only 1-2 minifigures in every wave that really make me nervous to get them. Man, I wish I would be into sports... More Space and more classic Movie monsters please.

Classic Blacktron I? Yeeeeah! I like the design of your ship. But I think it's a little bit to much yellow. The classic models had less than that. Just slim stripes and single, small pieces. Also I think a Blacktron I Logo would help.

I'm really a fan of dark bluish grey, but I don't have many bricks in that colour. I'm in the process of changing that already. My pics might not be top professional, but I like them the way they are. The red is a good contrast to the black and neon green. - Nope, I like them the way they are. - Yup, I already did. Maybe I can post some update pics soon. - Nope. I don't know. The drivers might not be perfectly protected in this cockpit, but I like it the way it is. I think those old fashioned neon green cockpit parts would destroy the look of the cockpit. I deffintivly will. Thanks very much for your suggestions and your feedback.

Oh sorry, that Antenna is one of my few non Lego parts. It's from megablocks or something like that. I think I will replace it, because I'd like to use only original parts. I think the legs are okay, but not perfect. Maybe I can improve them a little, after my new bricklink order has arrived. Thanks for your feedback, guys. yup, you're right. The alienator looks like the classic one gone Star Wars. But I think thats a good combination. I got another one coming, which looks even more Star Wars. It looks like an AT-RT in black.

Hi! Okay, Phase II for my Neo Blacktron line. It's the Assault Raider. A crawling tank with a 3-men-crew. Let me know what you think about it. And forming an attack group, together with the Neo Blacktron Alienator:

I like this line more and more, whenever I take a look at the pictures. I think these dinos are the best TLG has ever done. Also I think the colour scheme for the vehicles is pretty, with yellow, red and this striped red camo pattern. Let's just hope these two facts will sell the sets. It's just sad that the two cheapest sets are not that interesting and the minifigs are'nt that cool. The really good dinos and vehicles are only in the mid- and upper price section.

I'm on it, Christopher. So far I've made four vehicles for Neo Blacktron, but all four are Walkers or Crawlers. I'm a little bid tired of spaceships and wheeled vehicles and became a nerd for mechs of all kinds. I'm glad someone out there likes the paint scheme and the exoforce stickers. @-zenn: Thanks very much for these advices. Just yesterday I were searching for a thread about this matters here on the board and wasn't able to find one. So you helped me very much. I think I will build a lightbox, but 2 of the sets I'm building right now are to large to put them into a lightbox. I have to find another solution for these.
