This thought process combined with the limitless potential of Lego is what makes building so great. Fantastic design throughout, every element is so well done, very fun and combines to form a hilarious scene. Awesome MOC.

Its so realistic and adorable. The face is perfection and the pose is so believable. Cute relaxing rabbit. Great work!

Oh my goodness that is amazing. Seriously jaw-dropping stunning perfection. The waist and curvature around the sides is amazing as is the meeting of the dress, the angles and lack of gaps is phenomenal. Fantastic!

Thanks Carebear! Thanks MarvelBoy123, I just wish i had enough of the underside pieces so that both sets wings could have been colored top and bottom. Thank you JJ Tong! Wanted to differentiate from the standard all-red fire trucks normally seen in Lego so using the various colors of fire seemed appropriate for a livery. Thanks Lufobrick! You are too kind.

[CONTEST] Benny's Spaceships Building Academy
koalayummies replied to Bob De Quatre's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Thanks for setting up and organizing this contest Bob De Quatre! This has been the most fun and creatively demanding Lego building challenge that I've participated in. I've been at a loss for what to build now since this was such a great concept. It inspired so many great builds, this is one to remember. #bennyfication -
Yeah might be better off getting no comments at all as opposed to those types. They're often necrobumpers too. "Hey this thread is older than I am but can you give me free instructions and maybe send me all the parts and also do my laundry while I post your build to youtube generating adsense money for myself and taking all the credit, let me know, I don't say thanks either, k bye! :obscene gesture: :smiley face:!!!1"

That is so elegant and you've managed to make it look so real despite it still being fairly small in overall size build. I thought it was much bigger until noticing the minifigure crutch and looking closely at the connections. Amazing work!

Oh yeah thank you! I remember that from January but didn't realize they were doing it every month. That is awesome, thanks. New Elementary is excellent and Jonas' highlights are great. -
That friends set @Digger of Bricks posted is awesome. Beautiful Spanish/Mediterranean inspiration.

The MOC: Fire Truck The city fire department is very proud of their tractor drawn aerial "tiller truck". They wash her at least once a week and she has saved many a minifigure. She's a massive vehicle, and somewhat unneeded seeing as how none of the city building are more than four stories tall. Here the fire crew is using the ladder and equipment to rescue a bicyclist who crashed into a tree and then caught fire as the cyclist's owner looks on in horror (on all fours, while purring). Its not that they don't like rescuing things from trees, they just wish there was a way to enjoy some of the other things the universe has to offer. Meow? They realized that there is so much stuff out there in the universe along with a very unfilled niche. After all there's space exploration, space bad guys, space police, space miners... why is there no space fire department? "Space fire department? That's ridiculous, there's no fires in space" - Anonymous space traveler right before his/her spaceship caught fire. Fire Truck Spaceship: The modification process began by joining the two sections of the truck to form a solid hull. There's no need for the independently-steered trailer part since movement isn't restricted to 90-degree turns on city streets in space. With ladders in space nearly useless the crew focused on a massive upgrade to the roof mounted deluge gun which now fires a specialized expanding adhesive fire retardant foam. Out back they utilized the numerous wheels as engine thrust nozzles. Up top tanks for the fire retardant are stored with chemicals separated before being mixed at the deluge gun. Communication equipment has been upgraded as well. There was no way they were going to ditch the compliment of red emergency lights. With no need for wheel clearance, tires, suspension and steering the bottom of the hull has been streamlined. The firefighters also upgraded their suits since wearing black isn't the best idea in space. Their equipment has also been upgraded in the form of portable high powered cutting and prying tools necessary for ripping open multi-layered and armored spacship hulls in order to rescue helpless minifigures. After once again rescuing the two wheel'd rider who crashed his spacescooter into a container carrying a tree nearly setting off a debris chain reaction in a densely occupied satellite belt, Benny and his team are on hand to officiate the spaceship certification ceremony.

That is awesome. Its rare we see Duplo around here but to see it utilized in such a seamless, sleek and perfectly integrated manner is phenomenal. Great work.

REVIEW - #70828 Pop-Up Party Bus
koalayummies replied to Bob De Quatre's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Fantastic review, really shows a lot of the set better that isn't demonstrated well in other pictures. Zebe looks hilarious and the combination of SNOT construction, functionality/play features and sleek clean aesthetics is very impressive. And your bobba fett party-1-bus-whatevra-style is absolutely amazing. -
Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
koalayummies replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
Neoclassical/new classical. They did a very very light influence on Brick Bank and moreso on the first floor entrance to Town Hall. Would love to see a more iconic neoclassical building but the style is very monochrome compared to the direction the Modular buildings have been and are going. -
The Creator Expert 3 in 1 is one of the coolest lines. However I haven't gotten a whole lot of them and it has to do with a couple of your reasons. The use of existing prints, color selection and basic/relatively common pieces are the biggest deterring factor as an MOCer who frequently selects sets based off price per piece and versatility/abundance or rarity (to me) of the included pieces. But the content of the sets is usually fantastic, the builds always look fun and the fact that they can be made into 3 equally interesting builds is something remarkable. Even if I don't get many Creator 3 in 1s they are always something I inspect and wish I could build all of them.

Yeah not control like First Order or Empire control but rather legislative and municipal services in keeping with the Town Hall function. Thanks Thorsten! Minifigures can enter and exit via the two hatches on either side over the wings. Move a chair out of the way and climb through the double sealed port. The balcony unhinges and swings open, there's even built in ladder type steps. I wanted to include the Earth Green doors and may still add them. On the side though it breaks up the TH Modular floor look so was considering adding it to the roof as well but unlike outer space interior space limited.

Thanks Exetrius. When I started I had no idea how this was going to come together so I'm glad the work came through for a pleasing design in your eyes. Thanks! Thanks so much Kristel! I'm glad its still recognizable as Town Hall as it took a lot of strength to resist wanting to make it as traditionally-sleek-sci-fi as possible. Thanks 1980SomethingSpaceGuy! I was split between keeping the skylight visible to the interior or the greenhouse so I'm glad you like the chosen route. Thanks for the love!

I'm not a huge fan of Ikea but wow you did amazing work recreating their style in tiny scale. Incredibly true to the inspiration and thankfully we don't have to walk through the maze of the entire store to enjoy this. Fantastic work!

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
koalayummies replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
Oh ahhh, you gotta warn me first! Now all the passionate modular fans are going to destroy me for what I did! Quick, outta the universe! Chewie hit the hyperdrive! :clunk, screech, fizzle, various breaking sounds: Um. So, how are all the modular fans doing today? -
For far too long the final frontier has been without official representation, government and order. That is why the minfigures of Town Hall set out to take their municipal building into space and bring control to the entire universe. All of the functions of Town Hall remain; marriage certificates: check, building permits: you bet, city council meetings: but of course, ballot initiatives: without a doubt, and protests: so long as you have a ship fast enough to keep up! Turning a terrestrial structure into a spaceship involves many concerns and presents many problems; chief among them is structural integrity, mass and volume. The Town Hall figures thus decided to cut down on some of the rather useless open space, long hallways and corridors and focus on the most important aspects of the structure: the city council chamber. Although it is a municipal building and not meant for combat the ship is however equipped with a few energy weapons in order to protect itself and also deal with asteroids and space debris. Two powerful canons underneath the cockpit and four more lighter blasters on either side. The boxy shape that comes with terrestrial buildings has been streamlined as much as possible but relies on sheer thrust to overcome the various forces at play in flight. Out back are six thrust nozzles that direct propulsion derived from the inexplicable single power source. Up top is the array of communication equipment necessary to conduct municipal business from vast distances. Below the entire vessel is coated with state of the art heat shielding. Since the vessel requires frequent travel to distant planets, atmospheric reentry, propulsion and control are required. The Town Hall's skylight has been preserved and transformed into a greenhouse. Inside the ship the open city council chambers the mayor and his staff and local representatives can conduct all their business just like before. The ship is powered by a golden minifigure which was discovered upon demolition of Town Hall beneath the structure. The minifigures have found the only power source they will ever need. The bride and groom finalize their now legally recognized marriage. Occasionally the Town Hall Spaceship runs into outlaws that just don't want to comply with the same rules every other minifigure abides by. For these instances the ship can be outfitted with an array of ordnance as set forth by galactic ordinance. Pictured here the crew loads up the sovereign citizen compliance device and the tax evader conformity contraption. The neoclassical pillars of the original Town Hall structure, frequently used as a sign of a government's strength, power and authority to rule, have been repurposed into very persuasive munitions that ensure all the same outcomes, albeit a bit more forcefully. With 1,000 hours of spaceflight accrued Benny convenes a ceremony to present the Towl Hall figures with their certificate of spaceship worthiness.
