  1. I'm kind of tired of only getting huge, 400€+ sets. Like I get it, they're collectors' items and all, but there are people out there who love The Lord of the Rings that don't want to spend hundreds of euros for a single set. The Shire is my favourite location in all of Middle-Earth, and I might even consider getting that set if I find a good discount. Still, it'd be really good if there was a smaller option for this theme. I don't mind it if it's like a single, huge set for something that won't become a yearly thing (D&D is a good example), but if they want to keep it going, I don't see why they can't produce anything more.
  2. I won't take this as a confirmation of an actual Superman set, it could still be a generic tie-in. Especially with the rumours of LEGO Marvel getting only one set based on an upcoming MCU movie in 2025. Still, I am fairly optimistic we'll get a set. WB will use everything they can to make the opening of their fresh and new DCU successful, and the merchandise is a big part of that.
  3. The context in which it's used isn't cartoonishly evil tho—it's horrific, and feels frighteningly real.
  4. Nya Nation, we've won! Finally a Nya minifigure in a magazine—the first one since 2021. Isn't that actually insane?
  5. I will kill and conquer for the glory of the Empire! (But mostly for my wife. We love each other very much. 🥰)
  6. That's why I love the villains in this series. They aren't portrayed as cartoonishly evil caricatures, but rather regular people with jobs. The work they do is horrible, because they work for the Empire—but from their perspective they are just doing their duties. Obviously Dedra is much more aware of the grander scheme of things than Syril, but the point is the same—they want to be efficient, to work well and advance in ranks. That's why at some point you really root for both of them—Syril is actually doing a good thing, even if you try to look at it more objectively instead of from his perspective. He's trying to catch a murderer when no else seems to care about it, preferring to conveniently cover it up. Dedra, on the other hand, tries to rise through the Empire's ranks, but she's constantly brought down by her incompetent colleagues, constantly trying to ridicule her. When she succeeds through hard work, you're satisfied—until the next episodes fully hit you with the realisation of who she actually works for. I love this quote regarding Dedra: (And I also love Dedra.)
  7. They're glad they're getting a set they've wanted for a long time. We're glad we're getting a set. We are not the same. Two rings for a doubled amount of satisfaction with my relationship. 😌
  8. She got me a fresh new job at her workplace, now we can work together. Done. Also added her as my interest. 💕 He's just jealous. Ignore him. @THELEGOBATMAN is into Dedra Meero. 🤩 *Husband. That's much funnier than it has any right to. Love it.
  9. It would be absolutely insane not to make MCU F4 sets, or even a single Thunderbolts one. I'd love a comicbook-based F4 set tho.
  10. He actually is, as shown in the BTS material from D23. K-2SO and Melshi are also there. And then again, it's not like Syril could fly the Tac-Pod either.
  11. No. The line-up is fake. We know nothing about the minifigures in this set—apart from an obvious assumption (Andor) and a deep desire (Dedra).
  12. You've somehow spread my love for Dedra from the Star Wars thread to the DC one. I am thankful my friend.
  13. All of them, basically. Except for the Battle Pack I think, every other leak was backed-up by some reliable leaker.
  14. My soul will leave my body if that happens. It's actually insane how little I care about every single Star Wars set coming out in 2025, and then there's the Andor set which is already an Day One must-buy only because it's based on Andor. I don't even need to know what it is and how it looks. I'll buy it anyway. We love each other.
  15. Definitely a possibility. I hope we get more than three characters in this set. Andor and K-2SO are a must. Melshi could also be there to fill the U-Wing, instead of a generic Rebel. For the Imperial side of things, I'd kill for a Dedra Meero minifigure. A Death Trooper would also be a nice addition, to protect her from any danger. 🥰
  16. Do we know if any reliable source has confirmed those specified Dragon sets rumours? There's been a lot of rumours all at once recently, so I need to keep track them. I hope those ones are true, because the March wave will be amazing then.
  17. Iron Man, Captain America (WWII suit), Thor, Scarlet Witch and Bruce Banner OR Nick Fury (don't ask me how someone could confuse those two—I've not the slightest idea).
  18. Dedra Meero? Mommy, I mean mommy, I mean...
  19. Thanks! Great to hear an Andor S2 set is confirmed. Happy it's not gonna be too pricey. (Is the rumoured price 70€?)
  20. Can someone catch me up on the leaks? There's been way too many of them all at once, from various sources. Hard to keep track. I just have one question—is the U-Wing real, and does it actually include 5 minfigs, one of them being Dedra Meero? If that is the case, I will be the happiest person alive. Not only would it be an Andor S2 set (perfect to go along with my Andor S1 set), but also Dedra Meero? I could die a happy man.
  21. I honestly wouldn't put much credibility into all the recent rumours. They've been all over the place, coming from random sources that we've never heard of.
  22. That's great, I was just on my way to write a whole essay about how the inclusion of Gunn's Superman in a January mech is the most confusing thing ever, and how the minifigure sucks, but not as much as it could.
  23. Completely besides the point. Just because it's based on comics doesn't mean they can randomly insert any kind of thing into their universe without previously establishing it. The MCU only takes inspiration from the comics, it never directly adapts anything (especially in the recent phases). Except he hasn't interacted with any MCU characters besides Daredevil, so let's not pretend like the series hasn't just been retroactively added to the canon. They noticed that some Netflix series were beloved among fans, so they decided to cash in on that. It was merely a business decision. I wonder what they'll do when they get to Luke Cage and Iron Fist, since those series are nearly not as liked as the others.
