  1. No it wouldn't, because you don't do stuff like this in mystery bags. It makes sense in regular sets. It makes sense in Hasbro figures. But it makes no sense when you have no actual choice—you could end up with five Velociraptor legs and an arm for good measure.
  2. I don't care about comics, since it's not a comic—it's a movie, taking place in an established universe. As for Punisher, at this point he's just a shoehorned retroactive addition. That is, until Daredevil: Born Again.
  3. Well uncross them. It's probably more in line with the Flying Lessons set coming out next year. I wouldn't expect it to be based on anything other than Philosopher's Stone.
  4. Thank god you're not running things, because that roster makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. (Don't take that too seriously. ) Deadpool isn't even on Earth-616. Punisher isn't in the MCU at this point (unless you count the retroactive additon of the Netflix series). Red-Hulk would've been barely introduced by then. Venom isn't in the MCU at all. But even without the whole MCU-lore context, I don't like your roster because it includes too many standalone, well-known characters. Deadpool, Punisher and Venom already have their own projects. There's absolutely no need for them to steal the spotlight of other characters. What I appreciate about the movie is that they made a team out of characters which don't really have a place in the MCU at this point, and otherwise would've been forgotten or sidelined.
  5. I'll stand by my opinion that a Jurassic CMF would be the single most uninteresting, pointless series LEGO could waste a spot for. This theme is about dinosaurs. It's a dinosaur theme. Minifigures are great too—but they aren't the focus, like they are in Star Wars or Marvel.
  6. Immediate must-buy then. I really hope we get at least a single Andor S2 set.
  7. I really like what I'm seeing here. The X-Mansion has an awesome colour scheme, and it feels pretty substantial. The Sentinel looks great. Minifigures probably won't be as good—for example the use of plain blue legs for Wolverine is a boggling choice. I like the use of many clear pieces for posability.
  8. Since no source I know of has confirmed this, I'll take it with a big grain of salt. Still, this wave sounds so cool. Thunderfang Chaos Dragon? I'm sold. An 80€ beige and purple dragon with nine minifigures? Sold again. Hope that's true.
  9. What do you guys think will happen with this theme when the HBO series releases? It's aiming for a 2026/2027 release date, so we have at most two years of this theme left as it is. But what then? Will WB tell LEGO to focus all their merchandise on the new series? Will we still be getting sets based on existing movies? Will LEGO just stop making sets for this theme altogether?
  10. That'd break me financially. I think it's based on another property tho.
  11. Both of those are definitely buildable objects. It'd have been so cool to get a cheap Chaos Theory set.
  12. Nope. We'll definitely get a bigger wave next year though, based on the upcoming movie.
  13. It's so funny, because it actually feels like a thing Aslume would come up with. I loved The Batman, but I don't like how much Reeves talks about how heavily he'll lean into the realism. Especially with dumb stuff like changing Oswald Cobblepot to Oz Cobb.
  14. Not true when it comes to D2Cs. Regular sets are usually revealed (more or less) a month beforehand—sometimes it can go down to half a month, and on rare ocassions they can be revealed months before their release (like the 2025 Nintendo sets), or even on the same day they release. When it comes to D2Cs tho (the big sets not available in regular retailers), things are different. They are usually revealed somewhere between two weeks and one day before their release date. The set usually leaks a day before it's revealed.
  15. The Mansion is also an X-Men '97 set. At first it was just a generic X-Men Mansion (as seen in the first leak from the survey), but at some point they changed it due to the series' success.
  16. Well, yeah, but that has nothing to do with it. I'm talking about those two specific sets, not the current state of the theme.
  17. So I guess Ant-Man is the missing 8th minifigure in the Airport Battle. Very disappointing—a wasted slot, since he's the only character that can be represented as a build. I also have no idea why we need two separate Giant-Man builds in a two-month span. And both of those sets include Ant-Man as a minifigure too. Genuinely no idea what LEGO's thinking here.
  18. That's the worst thing about this set. Nine minifigure spots, and not even one of them hasn't been done before as that exact variant. The only one that's even remotely interesting is Iron Spider-Man, since they can correct the horrible mistake of not giving him dual-moulded legs (plus a red-eye face print). Is the "extreme violence" in the room with us?
  19. I don't really like the minifigure selection, some of those are random and/or unnecessary. Ant-Man should've stayed as Giant-Man. Wasp has been barely present in the movie. Doctor Strange was holding water throughout the whole battle. Also, two Chitauri? I feel like having a whole set dedicated to the portals should be focused on the heroes coming out of them, not the battle that happens afterwards (in which case Doctor Strange would've been fine, but it seems they are going for a battle).
  20. Avengers: Endgame Final Battle Spring (March or April) 2025, 100€; set number and piece count unknown Minifigures: Falcon (reuse), Ant-Man (new), The Wasp (reuse), Iron Spider (new), Captain America, Doctor Strange, Thanos (bigfig) and two Chitauri (reuses) Includes a lot of portals, some terrain and some Avengers HQ ruins. Ant-Man can be put in a 15€ mech to make him giant. Credits to exabrickslegogo_
  21. Imagine a collection of buildable Venom animals, like a whole subtheme. Starting with the horse, then the fish and the frog, and many others after that. 📢 We need that LEGO! 📢
  22. Ten euro?! Now that's an absolute steal. They're blowing it out of the water with those 10€ mechs. Awesome stuff.
  23. The next year is shaping up to be truly incredible. The villain faction sounds really unique, and getting the Forbidden Five is going to be so awesome. Zane's Mech sounds so awesome—Wyldfyre finally appearing in a cheap set, and it also includes one of the Forbidden Five? Awesome. The other two small sets are weirdly enough both Lloyd-focused with only two minifigures. All of them are really overpiced too—the PpP ratios are awful. The March Dragons sound so good too. Finally a villain dragon, been a long time since we got one. I like how they're focusing on making the both sets connected (as in good vs. bad dragon). I'm also surprised by the sheer amount of sets—24 in total, and the split feels much more fair too (since this year the June wave was noticeably smaller).
