  1. The sets look good, but when did 45€ become the standard for models with not even 300 pieces? Horrendous pricing.
  2. I'm actually surprised by how much I don't dislike it. I think it was a good choice not to recreate their faces, and make them super minimalistic. It's stylish, but in a good way—I don't get the complaints. Would people have preferred an ugly face printing for Harry? Couldn't care less about the set itself, but if LEGO keeps making them, it means there is a pretty big target group for them.
  3. Do they? [Googles "Duck dick"] ... That's enough internet for today.
  4. I truly truly I hope so. But even not considering the Superman set, it would be really weird if LEGO released no system sets at all for the remainder of the year. Especially considering the fact that WB will want to push the merchandise for DC as a whole, since it's getting a huge revival. It'd be weird if they just said to LEGO "Oh, it's fine. You don't have to make any sets at all, we don't care."
  5. That'd be relieving to hear, because I remember the first rumours mentioning a 400€ price point. Did you get this from clay (the leaker)? I hope it's not just fully speculative on his part, I'd love to see a LotR D2C with a lower price point—especially since it's my favourite location in the movies, and I might want to buy it. As for the second set, I'm afraid it might just be a buildable figure or an object. I wouldn't get my hopes for a diorama, or anything remotely similar.
  6. Yup, Sora and Arin variants do their own thing instead of following the patterns of the original Ninja (minus Jay). Still, sounds like an awesome polybag. I love that it's a yearly thing—Kai vs. Rapton, Cole vs. Wolf Mask, and now this.
  7. We... don't know. DC has officially announced that LEGO is one of the merchandise partners for the new movie, but a reliable leaker is saying that the only Summer DC set is the Arkham. We'll see. Hopefully we do, because otherwise, I will literally start sobbing uncontrollably and hitting a wall.
  8. LEGO Icons: 10354 Bag End D2C (April 2025) The Lord of the Rings will also get another Icons set sometime next year. (credit to: clay and chazzwazzer)
  9. Fair enough. I do hope they make even a small part of one of the villages as a set. Obviously they'd add a machine there, but I think it would be a super attractive set. I love the climate of each location and exploring it.
  10. The Summer 2025 polybag will feature Arin and a Dragonian this time. (source: litemods)
  11. I don't think so. Actually, I'm sure most people are playing the video games for the lore, the characters, and the gameplay. The machines are amazing, sure, but they are more of a backdrop for everything that's happening. But the thing is, when making LEGO sets or merchandise in general, the draw is completely different than what you're playing the game for. The machines have incredible designs, and they look amazing as collectibles—that's why people want to buy them. Let me put it this way—people watch Jurassic World movies for the dinosaurs, but they don't play Horizon games for the machines. They are just a small element of an otherwise very complex, engaging experience. When it comes to merchandise though, a machine is instantly more iconic, marketable, and full of possibilities by design.
  12. Yeah, I'll have to agree on this one. As much as I'd love a CMF series as a huge fan of the Horizon series, it's not a good idea. The minifigures don't have much draw and variety to regular LEGO fans or kids that aren't specifically fans of this series. The sets focus on the machines, and there's a reason for this. The minifugures and the original character designs are incredible, but they aren't enough to support a whole CMF series.
  13. That's an awful idea. The reason this works for Hasbro is because their toys aren't blind bags. No one wants to end up with three Black Panther torsos and two Thor legs.
  14. I meant the series, since Dedra is in it. Andor himself is my sworn enemy for endangering the life of my beloved.
  15. 71837 The Crossroads (14+) 250€, 3244 pcs. Releasing March 1st. (source: fateful_04)
  16. 1. Andor. I like it a lot. 2. I don't care about anything other than Andor.
  17. My wife is beautiful in everything, so whatever she's comfortable with. (Unless the overcoat includes the hat, because that way it'll be just another awkward bald minifigure with a hat. LEGO really needs to start making more hat-hair combo moulds.)
  18. Double the Balls, double the fun. Officer Balls was spinning round and round, until it was too late.
  19. No, it specifically says "Sony's Spider-Verse" CMF series. And we all know what people mean by Spider-Verse. The rumour would've stated otherwise then.
  20. What if we split Officer Balls in two—that way we'll have Officer Ball and his twin brother Officer Ball! This will make it possible to fill both minifigure guard spots with Officer Balls.
  21. Official announcement: https://blog.playstation.com/2024/11/18/celebrating-the-lego-horizon-adventures-launch-with-a-brand-new-lego-set/?sf275475755=1 The set is available to pre-order on shop@home: https://www.lego.com/en-de/product/aloy-varl-vs-shell-walker-sawtooth-77037
  22. Pretty decent? 45€ for 768 is absolutely insane, one of the best prices for a licensed set in the history of LEGO.
  23. Ah yes, Captain Marvel and Ms. Marvel, notoriously unpopular Marvel characters.
  24. Yeah, I don't think it matters. First images of Toothless from the remake's first trailer have leaked, and he looks literally the same but in live-action. No matter how they brand it, the set will stay the same. I think they will just slap on a How to Train Your Dragon logo, whether it's the original or the new one (if it even is different), and call it a day.
